Not always the easiest to get a hold of, but they go above and beyond to make things right when addressing the problem. Outside of front desk service the gymnastics taught is phenomenal and thats what matters in my opinion. The teachers are respected by their students and it shows. The talent is strong and I have seen such improvement in my daughter in 6 months. We have been to multiple gym facilities and I choose to drive 30 minutes for my daughter to go to SW gymnastics. They challenge the students to their skill ability its not a everyone do one task-type gym. Strongly recommend if your looking to develop a talent in your children and not just looking for a babysitter. A+++

Worst customers service ever!!I brought my daughter to a trial class last weekend. I was absolutely clueless to how it all works and when we got there there was no one at the front and a sign at the front desk that said the office was closed but we could see classes going on.We stood in the main lobby for a while. I still had no clue what to do and there was no one there except the coaches training classes. We had to follow someone who came in to figure out there is a little area you can sit and watch classes. When it was time for the next classes coach came to the door and announced the next class. I though they would at least have a list of something showing who might at least be new... (there was another woman there for a trial who seemed to be having the same experience I was)The ONLY reason Im giving this place 2 stars is because my daughter enjoyed the class and the coach seemed involved with the kids.Other than that there was absolutely NO customer service whatsoever and on top of that, for people like me who was there for a trial NO one came out to ask who my daughter was or meet me. NOTHING I had her stay because I was able to watch her and why not, its a free class.I have yet to hear from this place at least calling to ask about my daughters experience. Enrolled her in a trial class at a different gym and immediately was contacted to let me know that I was approved for the class and asked if I had any questions, etc. I havent even been to that gym yet and Ive already had a better experience.I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. Absolutely no communication or customer service whatsoever. It was a very disappointing experience.

My son has been part of the Southwest Family for about a year now and I dont even have the words to describe how great it has been .From the owner to the other parents, the support, guidance and overall team spirit is just wonderful. From the first day we walked into Southwest Gymnastics we knew that it was where we were meant to be .Under the direction of Coach Burton and Coach Brock the boys team as a whole has come together to be, in my opinion, the best team in our area.I want to thank all the staff and parents for all you do for our children everyday .

How are you supposed to do gymnastics when the gym is hotter than it is outside? Does this place have any air conditioning? My daughter was sweating so much that she lost her grip on a rope and got quite a rope burn on her hands and ankle sliding down. Plus, the coach was totally unsympathetic to her rope burn saying “look at my torn up hands.” This person has no business with kids. Does your teaching method come from Soviet era or 3rd world countries?

Most of the People are great at this Gym. Their only major issue is the systems they use for billing and that they are not giving invoices or emailing them. I was in there and the young lady at the counter hands my daughter an envelope and says this is for your Dad and then when I open the letter tells me I am going to be sent to collections. This really is disappointing because I am there every weekend and even joined some training myself. So this really makes me feel like a dead beat and that is disappointing and as an Avid social media user, makes me want to let everyone know not to bring their kids to this type of establishment. I have witnessed numerous parents go through the same experience and it is embarrassing.

The instructors seem great...when they show up. Too many times that we showed up, waited for 25-30 minutes after class was supposed to start, and no one showed. Because the gym does not hold regular office hours, there wasnt even anyone there to open the gym so we could wait inside, or anyone who could call the teacher. So completely unprofessional. Yes, they have always offered us a make-up class in return, but it doesnt pay me back for my wasted time, nor for my daughters extreme disappointment. A little professionalism from this gym would go a long way.

It is long past due that I pen a review of Southwest Gymnastics!Stumbling upon a “groupon” for some introductory lessons, we gave them a shot. Our early elementary age daughter was doing cartwheels & tumbling all over the house – especially after the Summer Olympics and the USA Women’s performance! We could not get her to stop, so getting proper coaching and instruction was the next logical step.We are VERY protective parents, each with extensive EMS / First responder and clinical nursing experience. In addition, my older sister was a very competitive gymnast from years ago. I spent a lot of weekends growing up watching the competitions / practices and how coaches were indeed part of the development of the gymnasts. I knew which questions to ask, inquired about certifications of the coaches and of course where the First Aid equipment is located and are the staff knowledgeable on its use.I have been observing our child’s development for the last year and half with what has become her passion at such a young age. The staff members at Southwest Gymnastics are FIRST about safety and teamwork. They make the learning experiences enjoyable for all the children that are either there for testing the waters of the sport, recreational activities or working towards team competition. All the coaches are approachable. If I had concerns that practices may be interfering with schoolwork, they informed us that if school is not a priority –then being part of the gym may need to take a backseat until the child’s focus is where it should be.The coaching, mentoring & training together have empowered our child to be more focused and goal orientated. A great bargaining chip when getting homework completed to fit in with the busy training schedule!!!
