I always have a great time. Social distance as much as possible but you know how that goes. Staff was friendly as always. Always clean. One of my favorite places to go for a good relaxed night full of laughter. Appreciate the fact they didnt let the audience get to crazy and step in to avoid the comedians time being used up.

Great show watching Tony Rock. Great layout for the audience and I was throughly entertained. The only reason its not 5 stars is because of the Nightclub in Vegas prices for hard liquor drinks. I know thats how they make their money, but there is such a thing as a little too much. Wont let it discourage me from coming again as I had an amazing time.

Went to Tempe Improv one Sunday evening. The staff was really nice. Good show. Only real downside is the drinks are really expensive.

Awesome experience!!! Totally loved it. My wife and I saw Brian Regan! Super funny. Yes, the drinks were pricey but in order to get great acts theyve got to make money. The cheesecake is amazing btw. The staff was wonderful. No regrets. Well definitely go again.

Tempe improv is so much fun. Ive gone here for years. Ive always enjoyed the comedy. The wait staff is really great. The drinks are really good. The only thing I would liked to see improved is getting rude audience members that like to talk during the show to shut up. I love that it is a very laid back place.

Fun.. great service.. just a professional and well orchestrated club. Good times can actually be had in these Covid times. I would advise if you want to be six feet apart then this is not the place to go... groups are right next to one another.

We enjoyed going here when we live in Phoenix. The food and cocktails are good, even if a bit pricey. They recruit the best talent. Weve seen too many comedians to even mention. It is fun night out with lots of parking and quality shows.

It was awesome! Went to see Brian regan and was not disappointed. He was hilarious. So was joe zimmerman who went on before him. Today Im losing my voice from laughing so hard lol.

Audio and visual were perfect, nice and cool in the AZ summer. Host was funny. Service was good. The menu is a lil pricey though.

If youve never been to the Tempe Improv, you need to go there. They have some awesome very talented. Very unique entertainment here Ive seen quite a few of the very popular comedians at this venue. The venue is very nice. The employees are all very quick and very considerate and very responsive. And they have some awesome drinks and some awesome food. So you should get here at least once in your lifetime but more than that, really. Like maybe once a week or maybe once a month. That works too.

With the social distancing, you dont feel as cramped like you do at Stand-up Live. Staff us awesome, and food was great.

I feel like the headliner for the act on Saturday wasnt there. Her picture didnt her face. They were all funny tho. Just dont buy food there plus the 2 drinks..that bill was more expensive than going to Pappadeaux.

Like coming here with the wife to enjoy some comedy. Sometimes we go just to get out of the house. I’ve enjoyed every act I’ve seen here. There is a two drink minimum so be prepared.

I love coming here, been here several times and it really feels like there isnt a bad seat in the house but I do prefer floor level but its all good. Saw Steve o and he killed it here. There is a 2 drink minimum so keep that in mind and the prices arent really cheap but not crazy, they also gotta make money too you know. Wife ordered specialty drinks and got to take daiquiri glasses home with tickets. A lot of the comics do meet and greets after the show. Steve o meet everyone and took pics with everyone too. Fun night. They also have bottomless soda and it counts towards your 2 drink minimum.

The show was great. The venue was great. But come on, the prices of the drinks are ridiculous. Management should lower that so I can tip your servers better.

Its always a great time when we go to the Tempe Improv! They do have a two-drink minimum, which were all aware of! The only thing I did not like is when I ordered a bucket of beers, I could only use it as my two drink minimum, My date still had to order his two drinks.

Fun night, a bit pricey in my opinion but loved Rojo and Tone so it was worth it.

Love this place. The drinks are not watered down, and the food is better than one would expect. There are plenty of opportunities for free comedy (other than two drink minimum) so its totally worth going to see a new comic

The venue is nice. Staff is great. Food was awful. Dont go there hungry or maybe just order the nachos. Ridiculous prices for food. Spent $30 for basically a plate of fries because the chicken tenders and philly sandwich were barely edible. Drinks good but yeah pricey too. We really wanted to see the Hodgetwins and being in a room full of patriotic Americans made for a great night anyway.

Overall it was a pretty good experience the show was good comedians were pretty good. my issue is with the drinks and the two minimum required why are your drinks so *amn expensive? seating is good no matter where youre seated.

Was a good time and the staff was great. However the sitting arrangement is very crowded. Dont like the cafeteria like style of sitting they have. I know its trying to get as much people to fit in, but feels to crowded.

It was an excellent venue and show tonight. It was my first time there and I wasnt sure what to expect. The seating was good as far as the view, but, it is extremely close quarters. The food and drinks are super pricey too. I dont think I have ever paid $18 for a sangria, but, it was the special and I got 2 free passes for another show. It was super cool, just be prepared to spend some cash when you get there...2 drink minimum and it didnt have to be alcoholic.

Tempe Improv is one of my favorite venues. Its not too big and they often have main stream comedians. . Affordable and entertaining date night option.

A comedy club with a nice atmosphere. Honeslty a little better than Stsnd Up live. The tempe improv is a MUCH larger inside for more space and a bigger stage for celebrities and comedians, tickets are just as decently priced and the food and drink service is really good too, the main advantage here though is location and space plus a more bar like venue that supports a chill environment. Photo is when I attended a book reading that Patrick warburton was doing and Paid for a VIP meet and greet ticket. It was a fun experience and the comedy club was very professional. He even signed my two venture brothers posters and took the photo so. Fantastic comedy club, swing on by.

Drinks and food are delicious and reasonably priced for a comedy club. The service is friendly and as quick as possible, and the show tickets are reasonably priced.

This place is insane. If you want a good seat get here EARLY.

I came to Tempe Improv for the first time this past Sunday to film a comedian in town from New York and my experience was exceptional. The entire staff including Dannon, Lisa, Drew & Chad were extremely accommodating, hospitable and responsive. I had a great time here and I hope to be in attendance at Tempe Improv again soon!

My husband Rob and I had such a great time. Everyone one was too funny, we laughed so hard! We definitely recommend going to see the show, we know that you will have as much fun as me and my husband did.

Saw Shawn waynes this past weekend. What a dissapointment. Most of the show was entertaining, but hes not his brother. He spent 20 minutes talking about tossing the salad. Yuck factor=10

We enjoy coming here for the reasonable prices on comedy. The food isnt very good, so go for the drinks and the laughs. It can get a bit crowded, but sometimes we meet some interesting people that way.

Great place but the seating is a little sardine style like at stand up live. Foods good, drinks arent too crazy but still like 2 dollars too much.

First time enjoying a show here and it was well done! My wife and I had a great time and look forward to visiting here again. I read some of the reviews before going so I knew what to expect as far as paying for beverages / food. I have been to a few other events around PHX like WNBA, NBA, NFL games as well as the Ballet and Opera. I can tell you $13 for drinks is pretty average. While those events dont have a minimal beverage purchase, they do charge a lot more for the tickets. So either way a night out is easily $100 these days. Thanks to the Tempe Improv comedians for the night of laughs.

This awesome little comedy Club was quite an experience, great for couples and singles, food is typical bar food, drinks are kind of pricey but they hook it up got a nice buzz off 2 drinks. The atmosphere kind of like a dark movie theater old school pictures on wall which is cool. Waiters are on it always ready for your next order. Super fun to laugh LIVE, and drink I Highly recommend this adventure with a group of friends.

They are a staple for the comedy scene in Metro Phoenix and for that I thank them. The service was great, its just... The food was so bad... The chicken tenders were so hard and rubbery it was like eating the sole of a shoe. I had a virgin daiquiri which is basically juice, soda and syrup and it cost $13... I understand your main service is entertainment but take a hard look at your menu, folks.

We had a great time here. Saw one of my favorite comedians. The seating is a little tight looking at first, but turned out to be comfortable for the show. The overall atmosphere of the club is very nice. The server was great and the food was surprisingly good. I will definitely be going back.

Great location, great atmosphere, very accommodating in regards to seating and being able to see the show. Food is good, servers need additional training in being attentive, and to learn how to keep attitudes to themselves.

Free tickets require a two drink minimum. this was fine. however those drinks for my wife and I came out to a 67$ tab... and my drinks were non alcoholic.I expected and would have been fine with 30 or 40 for drinks. but 67 is ridiculousthe show was still good

If you enjoy comedy, good food and drinks, its hard not to love the Improv. Max the bartender made us some amazing drinks, the brownie dessert is awesome too, albeit HUGE, might want to share! My friends and I always have an amazing time here. The comedians even came to join us at a bar downtown after the show once. All of our favorite stories and jokes have come from nights here! Always a fun and memorable night!

Good atmosphere but if they got rid of the 2 drink limit and lowered their soft drink prices, I wouldnt cringe when I look at the bill when I leave.

Waited at lease 15mins before are order was taken understanding current climate but comedy club arent fully packed its sad.

Took my friends to see Lavel Crawfords show in January. They had two opening acts that were really funny and Lavels set was amazing. Definitely the hardest ive ever laugh in my life. In regards to the venue, obviously the food and drinks are over priced and their is a 2 drink minimum in which the cheapest alcoholic drink is about $7. Just be aware of those costs beforehand and you should be good to have a great time at the show.

Josh blue is awesome. But for 4 drinks we paid 60$ 2 drink min way overpriced cheap tickets for them to take you on water down alcohol.

HATE the parking situation... Love the customer service, the variety of shows, the variety of seating and option to sit where ever as opposed to making people sit right on top of one another.Food good, prices could be a bit cheaper but I get why its priced higher.Great job.

I love coming to the Improv! The staff is great, the food is excellent and there are very few seats in the house that aren’t awesome!

They have some great comics come through here. I haven’t been in about 10 years but I had a ton of fun. They seat you by group size so make sure to get there early for a good spot. Only did 4 out of 5 because food prices were a little too much to make this a regular hang out. $7 for a coke?!
