We love Lumiere Winery! Martha is awesome and the wines are some of the best in the valley! Always a pleasure to visit this gem! As far as Kelly Jones review, she must be an amature wine drinker and does not know good wine when she tastes it. Her loss! She probably buys her wine with Groupon. Lol!
The owners work on premise. We live in Temecula and the small size of this winery versus the chaotic large wineries...think Wilson Creek mean a relaxed atmosphere.
Some of the best views in Temecula. The outdoor tasting we did was one of the best times we had.
I don’t understand why this place does not have more reviews, but when I asked Martha, she said that they don’t usually ask their customers for reviews. This is the most underrated winery in Temecula for sure. We pulled up on a rainy Saturday morning and it was just us and Martha in the entire place. She is a talker for sure; but makes for some really good conversation. All of their wines are grown on their estate and you can taste the heart and soul that comes into each of their wines. This is my new favorite winery in Temecula and I will be coming back for more.
Located on a branch of road off the main street in Temecula, this winery sits atop a hill overlooking countless rows of grapevines facing the northwest and northeast. There is a quaint tasting room for those who like to be at the bar and about 7 tables outside in a covered patio.Because Lumiere Winery isnt on the main road, I feel that they dont get lots of traffic. Meaning that there is more attention paid to the patron. Thats exactly what happened today. For some odd reason my wife and I mustve missed weekend rush. We got here at 11am and stayed for about 2.5 hours and had the whole place to ourselves. It was spectacular! The tastings are $15 per person for 7 wines on the pre-set menu with wine glass included. Although, I do think we got more like 9 pours, which is definitely fine by me.Martha was great and we had time to chit-chat with her about the winery and the business and wines that were being produced. Stephanie was totally awesome, she schooled us on the scientific aspects of the grapes, harvest, and production of the wines themselves. Thanks for such a great time Martha and Stephanie. Well see you soon!
The rest of these reviewers must be drunk. Their wines are past their prime, oxidized, cloudy, and funky. I feel cheated out of the tasting fee. Please dont bother...
What a welcoming winery with good wines and friendly staff. The view is beautiful too.
So this is a family run winery with organic small eats. Beat salad was to die for and the figs were yummy! All from the backyard of this 20 acre vineyard. Romantic Fantasy wine was too good! Enjoy the personal attention and conversation, go see Stephanie who will serve you like your own!
Best wine in the Valley! You’ll find some great reserve/library reds. :)
One of the Best experiences Ive had in my life. My mom, sister and I were there on a Friday. We were welcomed warmly and treated like long time good friends, even though it was our first visit. The wines were the Best Ive ever tasted. I highly recommend you go and enjoy.
Best reds in the area. A great selection of library wines. Focus is on quality and great winemaking.
My wife and I were on a wine tasting weekend adventure. We made an impromptu stop from our schedule and had an awesome experience. The Black Cab Fantasy was delicious the property is overlooking the vineyard serene and fruitful. We had the privilege of the owners company and are excited to return in the near future to enjoy the vineyard in its full capacity once all the construction is complete.Cheers,David & Deirdre
This winery makes some of the best wines in Temecula. Martha, the owner, has done a remarkable job with the winery. One of their premier servers, Stephanie, is an expert at matching their wines to tasty side dishes. We almost always stop a Lumiere when we visit Temecula.
It’s a Mom and son show of Terrible wines! They have a great collection of bad wines if you dig into ruining your day at Temecula. The tasting made me realize why they don’t have descriptions of their vinegar like wines. Avoid, please!
Fun place. Very family friendly. Lots of activities to keep the kids occupied. Wine is also very good.
The hostess was uninterested in serving us. She poured the bottom out of at least 3 out of the 4 wines with the sediment. The wines were all bad and too pricey.
Professional & Private Setting!! Thank you Martha & Andrew
Their white merlot is fabulous while their reds are ok.The place atmosphere is very relaxing and since they are a small winery you getting to know the owner and hear their story.I mostly liked the location since its not too packed with visitors.
Small business with great customer service and excellent wines!
Fantastic, the wine tasting was by far superior to anything else I’ve tried in Temecula. We will definitely return to purchase more 2006 Cabernet Sovignon, and white merlot, my personal favorites. I highly recommend trying out Lumiere and make sure to ask for Martha she’s awesome.
