One of my favorite places I’ve been to in a very long time. We absolutely loved it.The people were great, the shopping was fine, the bars, distilleries, the restaurants, I had no complaints about anything that weexperience in this town.Plus, we were surrounded by Vineyards. Wow, I WOULD definitely go back.
A must see when youre in town. Lots of restored old buildings, food options (try Goat and Vine restaurant) and shops. Make sure to also go down the side streets as there are other shops around that are worth visiting. Lastly, theres a public parking about 2 blocks up away from the main street that helps avoid competing in finding parking.
Amazing Salvador pour over coffee. No need for anything, just black.
King Barrel was a great place to shop and the service was great
I saw the musical Annie this afternoon. It was a great show, the performers were fantastic. I cant call out any one of them because all were amazing. Annies dog Sandy did not have a huge roll but he stole my heart.
This theater is nice and cozy, not a bad seat in the house. Although there isnt a lot of leg room. Its great for short people, but if youre over 56 it may get a bit uncomfortable. I saw the production of Bonnie and Clyde and was very impressed. The tickets are very reasonable. Get there early to find parking. I just happened to go on a Sunday afternoon, on the same day as a Greek festival and we searched for parking for well over 20 minutes. I think we were lucky. Also bring along a sweater, it can get a little chilly. I personally was fine, but I saw several seniors bundled up. The only beverage allowed inside is bottled water. So drink and eat before or after the show.
This a great theatre to see local plays, shows, concerts and ballet productions! Almost every seat is a good seat, ample room and very friendly staff. Bathrooms are a bit inconvenient, but its not the worst. Get there early to find parking, as its difficult to find a spot on weekends or evenings.
Super nice small shops, some with hand made wares as many has quality quintessential wares as well.Very nice to spend a few days as the winery’s are close by.
An old town with a several antique shops, good restaurants and wineries. A fun place to go on a weekend.
This a beautiful and thriving downtown could spend all day here from the farmers market to unique shops and great food it is perfect other than the traffic and parking.
Old town disappearing fast. Some of the old landmarks and shops are gradually being replaced by new establishments. The old soda shop that used to sell all kinds of soda bottles are permanently gone. The Old Front Street that span only 1/4 mile is now full of new eateries that cater well to local tourists from Orange County. The new City Hall building is grandest of the small towns in America. That said, it is a good place to visit to have lunch or early dinner in Spring through Fall. Peak season last from May way till late November.
This is a great venue here in Temecula! Lots of great shows come here. Saw a string quartet that was traveling the country and world that was excellent. Check it out.
I loved every bit of this place. Everyone was really nice when I stop at the different gift shop and winery cant wait to go back
Love coming here. Highly recommend.Go to website to look who will be playing in the coming months. Seating is assigned
Most wonderful time spent at the Old Town Theatre... Production of the Nutcracker was beautiful. Intermission allows for you to walk around or get snacks at the food bar.
Fabulous. So proud of my niece paisley Emerson.. what an outstanding performance..
Shops, restaurants and bars line the Old Town Main Street. Some local places (like Temecula Lavender and Olive Oil) western-style and crafty.
One of the best birthdays Ive EVER had! They had a show of my favorite Disney movie ever, Beauty and The Beast! The theater was clean, tickets affordable (there were 5 of us) and the seats were incredible! Oh, did I mention they sell wine outside? Last but not least, the show was amazing. The cast did absolutely wonderful! Will be back again.
This is an extremely cute and quaint Community Theater. Small enough to feel like Community Theater but big enough to hold a decent-sized event. It feels modern, clean, and was a great spot for our first experience at our daughters dance recital. There is so much to do around the theater that you can make an entire day out of any event. I look forward to seeing holiday Productions, more of my childrens recital, and so on.
Very quaint theater in the middle of Old Town Temecula lots of food and music before and after the theater. Good acoustics, good size stage holds about 350. A little hard to find, definitely need more signage I drove around the block twice in the dark. The box office is inside an art gallery or vice versa. Then the theater sits back in the middle of parking lot/alley. After the frustration and being late for the show, I had a great time.
Lots of cool stuff to see. There are plenty of restaurants. Plenty of bars.
I had a great experience here I went and saw the play different choir and performers play for the black history Month
Love this place. Fun, safe, clean, family oriented performing arts theater with outstanding performances. Plenty of food and drinks, located in Old Town Temecula. Terrific date night idea!
We do our best to patronize community theater as often as we can. The plays are really good and its super family friendly...they also serve really good wine at Intermission
I went to Tribute act show here recently and you could have sworn I interrupted SantaCon. Ive never seen so many boomers in one place. Food and drink and prices were reasonable, but you arent permitted to bring any of it into the theatre. Be prepared to chug whatever you just purchased at intermission. Not the kind of place that should be hosting a Rock show.
Love going to old town Temecula the antique shops are nice! And the night life is good baileys is nice to have some wine and food firing the day but highly recommend going clubbing there on the weekends Spanish music on the top bar and modern music on the bottom bar. The Pub and grub is another go to they have live music and karaoke Thursday thru Sunday. Theres so many other sweet places to adventure in old Town Temecula perfect for a date night
Great show! Good performers! Great performance!
My grandson performed there last night. They are very well organized. The performance was outstanding. The music well done.
It’s always a party in old town with cars and great food.
Nice place to find different places to eat and shop. Some places have outside seating and you can people watch while you dine. Very casual. Mostly a tourist spot. Has a nice little farmers market on Saturday.
Wonderful venue. Theres not a bad seat in the house.
This is a nice town with lots of food options and shops to look around. The shops are really nice boutique style, different from the mainstream stores. We had a really nice beef stroganoff at a local saloon and the service was also friendly.Be careful of the wooden sidewalks, as it is easy to get the tip of flip flops caught, causing one to trip and fall. Same likely goes for heels.
Olive oil store was amazing flavors
Great performance, seen the nutcracker play and it was more that I expected. Extremely professional!
Quaint town. I liked all of the older shops, cafes, museum, and building style. Although it is a small town, there was a lot of construction going on. The town is growing, which is great. My friend is looking at homes in the area.
Adorable old town full of fun shops, restaurants, playhouses and more.
Barn Yard Chicks on Main St
This one of the new cities that has sprang out in Southern California as an up and coming
Fun little shopping spot and many cool eateries and bars
Good place to explore in temecula and if your a local its a good old town with good food
Small venue, we had balcony seating this last visit and due to being hearing impaired werent able to hear much of anything - a small tragedy since it was likely the last time we were able to see this particular performer. Thats not the theaters fault, of course. My husband DID find that the sound was better in the corner but the area was being blocked off so we couldnt change seats.Other than that, the folks checking tickets etc are very cordial and efficient.
Great Aloha Series Show featuring Kaleo Phillips.Comfortable seating and superb view of stage.
This theatre is so nice inside, great sound, comfortable seating. We love going to thos theatre! Highly recommend!
I was there for the monthly artists night and it was a wonderful experience full of amazing talent and interesting talent
Always a fun destination to go to. My last visit was during the holidays which is a very popular time. Parking was more of a challenge but we ended up parking in the structure adjacent to the civic center. A short walk and we were on the main street with all the shops. There is a great assortment of restaurants to enjoy lunch or dinner. I have always had a good experience at all I have visited. I love all the unique gift shops, boutiques, and antique stores. There is even wine tasting for those not able to also visit the nearby wineries. There is a large new multi-story building under construction on the main drag. I am not sure what businesses it will contain but I hope they keep true to the local charm.
This was a great venue, although it was hard to find the entrance. Their signage could be better. We had a great time.
Love to perform here and see shows here, its a very special theater
$29 balcony view of the production of The Nutcracker. Great value for your $$!
Great place to shop around Temecula !!
First time to Old Town & we felt like this is exactly what we needed. We love the street fair atmosphere with the variety of shops, eateries & all the sports bars restaurants. We cant wait for it to be a little warmer & really be able to enjoy ourselves.
We have seen several shows here and there really isnt a bad seat in the house. Whether its live music or a local play this is a great venue to enjoy an evening.
The road is packed with tourists but I noticed places to park and walk a little ways. Such cute boutiques and beer joints that open to the street. Quaint.
This is a beautiful, intimate venue. Ticket prices are very reasonable too!
Intimate theater - every seat is great. Always a good show, well acted with quality staging.
Such a great theater! Not a bad seat in the house and the talent is amazing!
Pretty nice little theater. Just know, for those doing group seating, from the stage, all even numbered seats are on the left and all odd number seats are on the right. Who knows why (ret)
Love the ambiance, i feel like i traveled back in time
Its a really nice venue.
Takes a bit to buy your tickets there, so come early. The place is cute. They offer quite a lot of very inexpensive and creative performances. I love their interaction with the community. Will definitely come back
There was a lot of stuff to see and do. There were also many vendors selling all kinds of Knick knacks and things restaurants bars family friendly places candy stores cruising lots of classic cars recommended for family fun. They also had restrooms for the public which is a big plus considering all of the walking.
The feel of an old town is there but still something is missing.
Great community theater! Really enjoyed thier production of Mama Mia!
Cute community theater.. always fun
Excellent! It was so fun to watch and sing along with Mamma Mia!! Definitely recommend this show!!
The Theater and Old Town Temecula area are beautiful! Also, not a bad seat in the entire theater, hence the 4 star rating! However, went to see M*A*S*H performance today ...hummmm...perhaps my expectations were high. The script was weak, especially the 1st half. Definitely not the comedy it was billed to be. I felt like I was watching beginning rehearsals rather than the last day of the show. Savong grace for the 2 rather than 1 star were the fact that the set was very well done and the staging for the final bows was wonderfully artful! Not sure I will give the theater another try, as I drove up from San Diego and the performance was at generous 2 stars.
Fun place to go, there is a lot of establishment to go to and choose from. It is nice to go with someone special in your life.
Just moved to the states, Murrieta, from the UK. This is such a cool place! It has lots of restaurants and cocktail bars. The atmosphere is great! This town is full of life day and night. Can’t recommend checking it out enough! Very upscale rustic.
Never saw a bad show or event there. Tonight was legends of Las Vegas with local talent doing Tony Orlando, Cher, Sammy Davis Jr and Tom Jones. Fun! Plus its a beautiful theater with no bad seats.
Could spend all day here roaming around all the various little stores and gnashing on all the great food gets a bit hot and busy during the summer but definitely worth a look Old Town charm and lots of great people
Temecula Theater is a state of the art venue in the heart of Old Town Temecula. Rat Pack show they put on every January is amazing. Such a nice theater with wonderful volunteers seating the patrons.
We love this historical. Temecula old town..
Great performance and theater!
I went to see the Christmas Carol musical and may I say it was an amazing experience! The staff were friendly and the theatre was clean! I would definitely recommend going there! Also my seats views was awesome
OTT is 5 blocks is fun! The town is to be commended for investing in Old Town. And the shops are very unique. Guys, try The Gardners Shop where one can score big points getting something special for the little rib.
Great little local theatre... Seats are a little older, but its nice to have this little venue in town.
Nice spot to have a craft brew n socialize
Great place to spend the day and look at all of the old stuff.and the food places are great
Love the live entertainment they privide.
We have seen many plays and musicals here. Some of my favorites are Beauty and the Beast, spamalot and a Christmas Carol
Just a great fun place with something always going on
Great theater. No bad seats. Fun play. Nicely done. Hard to find parking.
This is a winter wonderland at Christmas, terrific small shops, great restaurants, too. We saw a play at the Temecula Community Theater there...was so much fun! Highly recommend this place, any time of year.
Too much construction this time of year. And the hours really suck. Most places open like 4 hours....really. Must be nice.
We just saw Young Frankenstein last night and it was fantastic! The cast is so great and funny! Igor absolutely killed it! This theater doesnt have a bad seat and the ticket prices are very reasonable. Thursdays are only $12.
My daughter was in a couple plays here and I went to watch. This is a beautiful theatre that has it together. Very easy to buy tickets down at the Merc or online prior to show. I have sat in the balcony and up in a box seat I have also sat 5 row up from the stage and they were all great seats. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
Great place to go by yourself or with friends and family
A fabulous show & great venue. We enjoyed very much & will be back️
Watching mamma Mia and I have to say its not a Broadway version
I rate this as an actor who appears onstage at Old Town, rather than a patron who sees the shows.Working with the technical crew is a comfort. You want people who know what theyre doing on your side, particularly when safety is an issue, particularly when you are not in control of things that require timing. The Old Town tech crew is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and eager to work with you, and that is a GREAT thing to have going into any production!
I have never been to this plAce but I imagine it is heaven
Saw My Fair Lady. Excellent.
This venue is well-designed for the public as well as for the performers. Although leg room in front of seats could be more generous, seats are padded and comfortable. Internal acoustics are excellent because of the carefully engineered design of this theater.Regarding the piano, Ive heard the tone of other grand pianos that seemed less brittle in the upper octaves than the piano I heard last night, but this piano was perfectly tuned. The pianist, Fei Fei, could not have played a more perfect performance with even the most complex pieces which she chose. With my eyes closed, it seemed that I was listening to two pianists. Also, her verbal rapport with the audience during and after the concert was a wonderful bonus for all of us. I left very satisfied.
Great small theater for plays and concerts. They usually have great entertainment.
We saw The Addams Family play here and loved it. Parking can be tricky on the weekends but that is to be expected. Parking at the civic center and walking is easy enough though.
This theater presents a wide variety of music, drama, dance and more. It has a large theater that seats 365. The building in front of it, The Merc, seats about 45 and is perfect for cabaret, jazz, string quartets and comedy. It is also a free art gallery and the box office for both theaters.
Great friendly cozy little town with an old town feel.
Nice place to walk around and enjoy people and shops
Absolutely love Old Town Temecula, especially the theater. Wish they would consider a large convenient parking lot with tram service into downtown. All the shops would increase their business although I don’t think they need more they are going to get it with all the new construction and apartments that are going in let’s hope for the best.
This is a fairly small theater, but it is very nice! I would definitly go here again. The price of the tickets are so affordable I didnt know what to expect. The actors were so talented! They even had a live orchestra. One downside is the mics sometimes didnt turn on fast enough and the audience couldnt hear the actor speaking/singing for a second or two. I will be coming back!
