This is such a great escape room ! Lots of different themes and the decor is AMAZINGLY immersive. We recently played a virtual game of a room we had done live and it was so much fun. I didn’t think I would want to repeat a room but you’d be surprised how much of it you forgot or didn’t get to do because someone else was working on a puzzle while you were working on another. This is the best escape room company around ! I’m not just an enthusiast I’m also an owner and these guys always make it fun. So if you need some excitement during quarantine you should definitely do one of their virtual rooms! The best part about the virtual experience is you can play with people outside your home without actually coming into contact with anyone outside the home, so if your missing your friends this is a great safe solution!

We played two rooms — Conspiracy and Oz — and both are absolutely fabulous! You’re going to want to play more than one game at Mindtrap, so do as we did and plan to have lunch or an early dinner between playing two rooms, or maybe three. ;)Conspiracy is a tremendously immersive experience with meticulous attention to every detail. You’ll feel like you’re actually in that environment. This escape room, in particular, is excellent for team building: you’ve got to work together to find solutions.Oz is SO MUCH FUN with surprise after surprise from beginning to end. It’s wonderfully creative and filled with unexpected challenges. I wish I could play it again. It makes a perfect choice for teens and even children. Think: next birthday party!

Just finished playing Gold Rush and this was my 131st escape room! As a Florida escape room owner and enthusiast, I can’t praise this experience enough for allowing us to check out a location we would probably never be able to play and support, otherwise. James was incredibly friendly and welcoming as it was our first virtual experience. His briefing was very thorough and the setup for the game is very easy to follow and interact with throughout the duration of the game!Story-wise, One-Eyed Bill (our in-room character guide) added so much to the immersion of the story with his character driven remarks! This room also has a great balance of lock and tech that all felt appropriate to the environment and progression of the game.Overall, this experience is one-of-a-kind and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that has access to internet during these trivial times. It allows for an escape from reality as you dive deep into the level of immersion that this venue creates even virtually! Thanks MindTrap, we will be back to play Excalibur soon!!

Just did the outdoor scavenger hunt through old town temecula. It was so fun. I honestly didnt think my husband and Id finish on time but we did with 3 minutes to spare! You get 2 hours to finish..investigation themed. We will try their indoor rooms once opened

We had a great time tonight at the operation night Walker escape room, it was very helpful to get clues when we got stuck and they even give us more time to complete the mission, it was a lot of fun!!

Social distancing and escape rooms? Yes! It can be done, and MindTrap is doing it extremely well. We connected through Zoom and chatted with Nathan (owner) to get some of our questions answered first. Then he handed us over to a wonderful game-master who became our hands and eyes during the game (Gold Rush - Livestream.) The puzzles make sense, the ambiance was spot on, and his self-created inventory system really helped the game flow smoothly. Not only did we get to experience a solid escape room, but we did it from hundreds of miles away! -My experience level: ~20 rooms

A ton of fun. This was the first time I have ever done one of these are it was great. We did it with a group of work people so we had 5 people per room. My team got the harder of the 2 rooms and even though we werent the first ones done we still finished with 45 seconds to spare (with a few hints on the way). Doing it with family or friends would be great. The guy and lady that worked here were very friendly and helpful. The whole vibe was nice and personal feeling. I would recommend it to anyone looking to do something a little different. If you make it out the feeling is even better.

On line escape room Gold Rush was a superb room that we played through Zoom. All 5 of us ( in 5 different locations) loved it and I would thoroughly recommend it.

These guys are seriously amazing. The puzzles are clever and intuitive, everything is so immersive and on theme, and their number one priority is your safety and experience. The door walking -inside- the rooms are themed. They dont count hints against your time, which just felt like a huge weight off ours shoulders that didnt make us afraid to ask for help while going through. And guys. The hints? The game master is in character the whole time. It was fantastic. We did the Excalibur room, and my sister is a teacher that studied Arthurian legend. She was geeking out the whole time, loving all of the little touches and research they put in to making the room the best it could be.Coming out, the game master told us the people who own MindTrap were escape room junkies before they opened the place up. Its truly a labor of love, and it shows.1000 out of 10. Would absolutely recommend. Im excited to do the WWII room with my husband some time soon!

This was so much fun! I think what set me at ease was the fact that we werent trapped in any way. Great place to see if my old friends and I still worked well together after all these years. Apparently you cant break a good team. Despite almost not finishing. I cant wait to go back!

Ive already done two rooms with Mindtrap (Conspiracy and Gold Rush) their rooms are just so much better than most escape rooms Ive done (about 42 or so now). Tonight we did Excalibur and I was truly blown away- the setting is spot on and the puzzles are not typical puzzles you see in every room. Excalibur is the top on my list and I havent walked out of a room truly excited and blown away like I did tonight. I will do every room that MindTrap makes, and I suggest if youre reading this, you should too. Id give this company more than five stars if I could!

MindTrap has very well designed escape rooms. Their rooms are non-linear which is a rare gem to find. Conspiracy is a great room for experienced players and Gold Rush is a great family room. The owners, Nathan and Emma are some of the best game masters I have met. They care so much about you having a great time and have so much knowledge about other escape rooms locally and within the Southern California region. I can not wait until they open another location! Highly recommend!!!

This being my very first escape room ever, I have nothing else to compare it to but with that being said; I’m glad Conspiracy was my first. Amazing atmosphere, staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. The room itself is HIGHLY immersive and I was pleasantly surprised at how clever the puzzles were. The room is non linear so you’ll find clues that will come in use further down the line. We had a blast and would most definitely recommend!

Our favorite escape rooms! We have been to over 15 rooms and all of the rooms at MindTrap are incredible. The tech always works, and the puzzles are challanging but not impossible or frustrating like some other rooms we have been to. The owners are really great and it is clear they love what they do. We can’t wait to check out the next room when it opens! Our fav so far was the Conspiracy Room, but they are all awesome.

My team and I played the Gold Rush game and it was the first time any of us had played an escape room before. The room took us to a time and place that is indescribable! You truly feel apart of that world and the puzzles are so fun and clever! Hands down one of the best experiences Ive ever had and the owners are just sweet hearts!

We did both of the rooms here at Mindtrap. The first one was Gold Rush. The ambiance and decor were top notch but the puzzles were not really that special. The finale was pretty sweet though. After that we did the Conspiracy room and really liked that. The puzzles were some of the best weve done, focusing more on environment and technology than just locks and scavenging. Highly recommend it.

Loved this place. Did Gold Rush. Me and my wife had a blast! This was our second room. It was very well put together and very emersive. Super friendly staff. You can tell they love what they do.

My group and I had an AMAZING time. The staff are SUPER friendly and they have a fun warm-up puzzle box for beginners that they offer to you in the front office area. Our group did the Gold Rush room and I would DEFINITELY suggest this room for beginners OR experienced players. The contraptions were awesome, the puzzles were super fun, the surprise towards the end was so amazing that we wanted to see it again, the aesthetic is really well put together... I could just rant and rave about this place non stop. We are SUPER stoked to go back soon and do the Conspiracy room!! 5 stars WELL EARNED!

Ive been to around 6 escape rooms now, at this location I tried the conspiracy escape room. It had an above average atmosphere and had super cool puzzles. First time where none of the puzzles were bull imo.

One of the best Escape Rooms Ive been to! My group and I had the pleasure of playing both Conspiracy and Gold Rush and they were both equally entertaining and FUN! I highly recommend MindTrap whether youre a first timer or an experienced player.

What can I say.. This family put together two incredibly wonderful, intriguing and immersing escape rooms. My gf and I have done over 70 escape rooms and CONSPIRACY is now in my top 5. Absolutely incredible room, both visually and logically! Had so much fun doing these. GOLD RUSH was equally beautiful and detailed, and I dont want to take anything away from this one. After 70 rooms, we have good grasp on all aspects of escape rooms and these are good as they come. Great mix of tech(3rd generation rooms) and traditional lock n key. CONSPIRACY was more difficult, so GOLD RUSH will be bit easier for newbies or less people. Decorations were AMAZING! was so glad we did these roomsTHE family that runs this are just like the rooms, fun and wonderful. They are so nice and easy going, and just enhanced the experience! Love finding gems like this and this deserves the 5 stars without shadow of a doubt! Thank you Mindtrap!

We have done both of their rooms now and both were fantastic. Of the two, conspiracy was more of our style and as of right now, I would have to say it is the my favorite. We have now done quite a few but conspiracy blew me away. So many wow factors. Really can not recommend this room more. Seriously you need to check it out.
