What a great time! Only my 2nd golfing experience, or 3rd if you count the time my bosses hurried me along during a business outing, but I could not be more satisfied.I was with one friend and we were not paired with anybody, but we were lucky enough to have pro join us just before we started.Great atmosphere and the rangers were very nice when laying down the rules on me. I will certainly be back!

I’d consider giving Overpeck a 3 star as course is decently maintained, greens may be slow, pace also on the slower side which can expected for a county course, there’s also the lack of real foods/drinks HOWEVER it only takes one bad encounter (person) to put the entire round in a foul mood. The (Korean) lady on the front desk will do just that with her horrible attitude. I don’t know if she doesn’t have the experience dealing with people or simply hates her job but she definitely lacks the people/social skills and has absolutely no patience.I’ve seen this a couple times where she’s yelling at people and I gave her the benefit of the doubt that it may have been a bad day but having experienced first hand to me, I am convinced this a typical routine for her.Individuals like her should not be covering the front desk, perhaps she should be out there golfing instead to relax and figure out a way to deal with her anger issues.

Worst course I’ve ever played in my entire life. Absolutely terrible customer service and an overall scam for how much they charge. This course is worth $15 a round max. Tee boxes are in terrible shape, the rough hasn’t been mowed in 3 weeks, and the greens have more divots than grass on them. Not to mention all the geese poop everywhere. Do yourself a favor and save your money, this course is atrocious.

Nice county course. Now taking tee times by phone, good luck with that! specially weekends and if you are playing the morning back nine, better be there before 6 am

The korean lady named adrianna chung booked us with her broken english and didnt even explain the cost breakdown and just charged us. I had to check my bank app to realize she overcharged us and when i requested receipt she gave us fing attitude. If you golf management hired her for korean customers, there are more able people who can do a better job who actually knows the meaning of customer service. I am sure she gets a lot of complaints. I am not coming back here again unless she is fired. Get her fired. Her korean or english is both under par. I dont write reviews but you can see she did a fine job showing how unprofessional she is. People like her is what makes this course sub par and ghetto.————————————————————-Instead of giving me automatic response, can you guys actually make a change? Thank you.

Ive never seen such negligence in customer service. These people do not answer calls and make sure to stall giving you refunds if THEY make the mistake in overcharging you. I seriously suggest you do business elsewhere

This course is amazing, beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend it!

We got overcharged for 4 people when we went with 3. Called them to notify their mistake and tried to tell me to call Paul Park, then hung up on me instead of giving me his number. Needless to day, terrible customer service and they still havent paid us back.

Excellent municipal course. Very lush and well maintained. Challenging when the wind is up but otherwise a very enjoyable layout.

Excellent staff, Jimmy (Starter) is always friendly and cordial. Would consider this my home course, relatively flat which makes it a prime course to walk or take your push cart. Average length from the white tees and if you like a little challenge move back to the black tees, but please up with the group in front. Truthfully, the rangers are non-existent, either picking up trash or looking balls I guess. Best to call the office to send out a ranger to keep things rolling.

Great Course, managed and maintained well. They dont have much in the way of options for refreshments or food, just some vending machines (really?). But we went early to a local deli and got some subs since we called ahead.Some challenging holes, looks like many people dont care to fix their divots.Overall had a good experience and would come back.

Great challenging small course. Perfect for any weekend

The dog park is a fun place to go so your furry friend can ply with other dogs off leash. It’s very clean and there’s always other dogs there to play with. There’s always plenty of tennis balls to play with also. Bring your own water for your dog.

Maintenance staff here have done an admirable job with improving the course conditions over the past few years. The greens are nice for a municipal course. There course layout is quite open and flat. Water comes into play awkwardly on the front 9 (#5, 6, 7, 9) and the back 9 has a couple of challenging holes with water (#14, 15).

Nice layout, a little on the dry side but playable. On a crowded day you can expect a back up on the last four holes.

Good value for money. Fun and well maintained 18 hole course. Just keep in mind theres no proper club house and therefore no 19th hole.

Considering the population in this area and the fact it’s a county course, it’s a bargain. Run efficiently at a good value. Therefore, I rated a five star!

For a county course ... To get off of work in June and July and get in a solid 12 holes you really cant beat it for 20 something dollars. I really think this is among the better county courses Ive ever played obviously at country clubs, the cuts are a lot faster on the greens but this is about what youd expect for a county course.... would recommend it

I wish I can give a higher rating for this place. Clubhouse definitely needs some help here. Basically, service is ok but, its hard to find anyone in the clubhouse. Upkeep on the greens are decent and being local is the biggest factor. Get here early and start walking!

For a county golf course, its beautiful and descent course to play.

Course has some nice holes and overall good potential but conditions need improvement. And how do you not sell water or have it available on a 90 degree summer day?

Easy to walk

For the money, this is a descent course to knock it around. the course has never been in a better shape...the maintenance is getting better every year.i dont know what the plans are for the club house, but something should be done to make the course better.

I gave one star last December because the course maintenance was so bad and then staffs were so rude, but I can say nowadays this course is one of the nicest Bergen County golf courses.

The county needs to know who they are hiring. Some bad eggs STILL give the rest of them a bad name. The course gets being better maintained. Only if the same thing was going on at the counter side.

Nice flat layout.. Good round of golf. New reservation system is a plus that allows for same day play with your county card. New county administration is doing an excellent job with up keep. Good thing the other BUMS were thrown out after 2010/11. @jose as someone else stated -- stick to Facebook!

After being ravaged by Superstorm Sandy, Overpeck has done a great job of restoring the course and maintaining the greens. As one of the more difficult muni courses to book, the chances of walkon are slim. Staff are helpful and the starter is always friendly. The course isnt very challenging and flat with strategic water hazards as the only deterrent from driving every par 4/5. The par 3s are uninspiring. Altogether, the biggest advantage of playing here for me is its proximity to my home.
