Beautiful park to enjoy a leisurely walk with my puppy. Enjoyed the peace and quiet along with the fall foliage.

The park is well maintained and has decent equipment. Plus, it is a good place to walk or jog.

Nice infastructure, but expect to have a red truck harass and follow you throughout all of manners park.

We drove through the Christmas Light display set to music tuned in by you on your car radio. It is nicely done, great for young children but if its a busy night you may get stuck behind a long line of vehicles with no alternate route out. A small donation is taken at the end(at this post suggested $5 per car- beyond reasonable). The snow this year gave it an extra Christmas feel. ️

I love relaxing out in nature. Taking a walk in the park with my boyfriend is simple, yet wonderful. The new play equipment looks great too.

Beautiful but concerned about all the trees getting cut down. I hope the park board is planning to replant. We wont have shade next summer.

This is a favorite place for me! I grew up going here! Now I take my kids here and sometimes just take my lunch breaks here, too. I love that some of the same exact slides and play equipment is still there from when I was a kid so now my own kids get to experience the big slides! Such a beautiful park, too!

Its a beautiful, peaceful park with many places to explore and fish around the pond. A great place to ride bikes, jog, walk or play on playground equipment.

Great park, beautiful and nicely kept up.

We went swimming at a graduation party. Someone went down the slide on a killer whale. Someone went down the slide on a hammerhead shark. Someone went down the slide on a gurney. It was the most fun Ive had all summer.

Park was good. Large and plenty play equipment. Several shelters good condition. Lots parking close play areas and shelters.

Taylorville has some awesome parks for being a small town. They keep the park looking nice and the restrooms clean.

Absolutely beautiful well maintained. If camping was available wed camp there.

I am really uncomfortable at this park at night because the security has some kind of vendetta against me that he feels it is necessary to call the cops on me every time im here past 8 pm and i feel extremely harassed by his actions because all signs say the park is closed from 11pm - 5am this has happened a total of 3 times now
