This place is super flowy with mellow transitions. Definitely family/beginner friendly...but if you are a novice I do recommend taking the time to figure or where all the transitions with coping are. They can sneak up on you! It wasnt crowded when I was there (Thurs around lunchtime) but it is small so it wouldnt take too many people to fill the place up. Definitely worth the trip from Austin!
Awesome. Its like a mini-Kona!
Great skate park with nice surface and fun lines. Definitely worthy the ride from Round Rock!
Worth the trip! Awesome park.
Really fun. The park has a nice flow and the locals are cool.
It is a nice place Im glad to see the city doing something for the Youth of the community way to go
This is one of the dopest parks Ive ever seen. Wish I was a better skater
As a BMX rider, I cant speak for what its like to skate this park but this one of the best parks Ive ridden. Very much like riding trails but not linear and smooth concrete that can be a little slippery if ridden a little too aggressively. So many possible lines and an absolute blast to ride but might get a little hectic with too many people since you cant always see people coming and the good lines can cross over each other. There is a small amount of shade coverage near the benches. Security cameras and outlets with USB ports and a shelf for your phone to charge are at the benches in the shade. The park seems to be in a decent part of town where there is ample parking.
The park is not open but there is NO no trespassing signs and the park is supper fun...even got some waves from the Taylor Fire Department.....THIS PARK IS A SUPPER SNAKE RUN!!! Supper fun park!!!!!
Interesting lay out ... nice park
Amazing park bmx friendly as well
Worst skatepark Ive seen in tx
Impressive skate park. Thanks were heard from those driving and passing by. I am told that the official opening will be in May. This skate park should accommodate a multitude of skill levels from beginner to advanced. Please inform others this park was accomplished with donations and grants. Please check the local newspaper or ask about the Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPW) grant for $500,000 for downtown park enhancements including Heritage Square and a skate park. And the land was donated. I donated nine lots in Cottonwood Shores for parks. I am thankful for the grants from TPW and LCRA for the improvements in my city of Cottonwood Shores.
Very smooth riding
UPDATE: Due to the weather, the skate park opening is projected for mid to late November 2018.Visited park in May 2018 with my son and its closed. When does this park open?
Its not a park lol
Finally they put a skate park in Taylor.
More of these please!
