Great location and we had a really fun time out paddle boarding. Paul got us all set up and we were off. You can see a large amount of fish and crabs and the park is great. Watch the wind once you get off shore even in the estuary. It can take you where it wants.

Joe is a really cool guy that knows a lot about kayaks and paddling. Highly recommend renting from this place, had a fantastic afternoon and the nicest staff ever!

We went on New Years Eve and it was a blast. There was a perfect 1-hour kayaking (for 2) route around the small peninsula on Howard Island. We even saw some dolphins! I had so much fun, I left my ID at Wheel Fun Rentals and Drove 1.5 hours away without it. I called the contact info I found online and the women running the front desk knew who I was and was willing to wait for me to drive back (even after closing). Because I was so far away, it was not reasonable for me to drive back (especially on the eve of the new year). She let me come pick up my ID at her house which was closer for me the next day.Best service I have ever had in my entire life. Could not ask for better people. Thank you!!!

We have gone here twice (almost an hour away) to rent and it was closed without warning and weather was not a factor. We’ve called the number on the website to be sent in a circle never able to actually talk to anyone. I guess we’ll find somewhere else to rent from. #disappointed

Didnt rent any of their equipment but Fred Howard Park is really cool place to hang out.

Seat broke and it was very difficult and uncomfortable to pedal when you have nothing to lean on. Told 3 employees. Nobody cared. Wont go back.

I did not use their rentals, but on saturday June 22nd I was at the beach and my car battery died. They could tell I was unsure of where my battery is (super weird spot) so they came over and helped and made sure everything got started and we were ok. I had my 2 kiddos with me. So nice!!!

Very helpful staff and reasonably priced rentals. Rented a 2 person kayak with my son for an hour and paddled round the island.

I took my kids paddle boarding and kayaking at this tarpon location. Both the man and woman running this rental place were exceptionally kind. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. We all had so much fun and will be back!
