This is a new club but formerly was known as Tampa Titans. Jeff (owner) is a great coach to his daughters team and when he helps out with other teams but all he cares about is money. We are required to pay up front for the year but because of COVID-19 we had to stop practicing before spring break. He offered no refund of the thousands we paid for coaching and tournaments. He even mentioned he would refund the money for the tournaments yet it 6 months later and he has yet to respond to e-mails. There are many parents very upset about this and we are looking into suing for our money back. This is the new club he has formed. My assumption is to avoid the lawsuits that he has coming. He runs his business as a non-profit however all he cares about are profits. Jeff is a very money hungry individual and I have personally heard many former players say the same thing. During club season communication was terrible but most of all he ripped us all off. All of the other clubs have refunded money back to their players. He should do the same considering he qualified for grants through the government due to COVID-19 yet left his players in the cold. PLEASE AVOID!

Dear SW Kim,It is unfortunate that the Covid pandemic caused so many closures in local business. All members of the club were notified of the reopening of the gyms for June and July. We also added sand sessions in addition to the indoor training(there was no charge for the additional sand training sessions). The amount of practices that were missed due to Covid shutdown were replaced by the reopening of the gyms and training in June and July. We did send a notification to all members regarding the re-opening of our gym, It detailed exactly the number of practices each team lost due to Covid shutdown. We made sure that every team was given practice days and time to replace the missed dates, we even increased the amount of practices for every team to surpass the original scheduled amount of practice days. We also anticipated a continuance of competition and proceeded accordingly. We used a bigger gym to offer a safer environment for the safety of our members. We performed health checks every day on every player. We had strict Covid safety precautions that we followed every day. We scheduled practices and scrimmages for all teams. If players were missing or didnt show up, we would combineteams to make for a more competitive environment. We added bonus sand practices for all members(a total of 8 hours for no additional costs). We communicated these days and dates and locations. We agreed to reopen based upon 95% positive results from all families wanting to get back in the gym. We listened to our families and gave the best possible service that we could considering the Covid lockdown. Our costs did not go away because of Covid. We still had to pay coaches, gym rentals, insurance, accounting fees and admin fees to operate the business. We did our best to offer all members a safe environment. When we had to shut down in March we also lost a considerable amount of revenue due to members failure to pay club fees that were due in MArch and April. Although our operating costs remain the same, our operating capital was reduced. We as an organization cannot offer something that doesnt exist. Almost every family member in the club benefitted from Free additional practices throughout the season. A benefit that very few if any other clubs provide to their members. SW Kim and her athlete were very eager to take advantage of all the additional gym time that was offered at no charge!. Perception is often times reality, but the perception that people were ripped off is clearly wrong. Services were offered, practices were held, training was provided and scrimmages were organized. We cannot refund money if the money was used to provide the services listed . Players that opted not to continue are not offered refunds. Our costs do not change on a team with 10 players or 8 players.....they remain the same. We cannot make everyone happy, but we strive to offer quality training in a professional environment. We value our members and give more than other clubs with our no charge additional practices that every player attends. We apologize to SW Kim and would welcome an opportunity to discuss how we can offer a solution to her concerns.
