Amazing skatepark! Would give 5 stars but the only thing is there are some leaks in the roof that has caused a lot of people to fall. It’s kind of hard to avoid them but they aren’t everywhere, just in a few spots. There are buckets under it and i will definitely be coming back here. Best skatepark i’ve been to.

Super cool place. Most people are chill. Doesnt matter if youre a beginner people are pretty respectful. Would recommend insurance if youre older like me though. Ha

Skatepark of Tampa has it all and everyone that works here enjoys their job and provides great customer service.My son and I have been here numerous times and have never walked away without a great experience. The shop has everything you could need and the employees are always down to get you what you need to get you skating.The park has 3 courses, The pro course, outside concrete course, and the Am course in the back wearhouse with the chill room. The park has amazing atmosphere and the park is designed to have something for every rider. Skaters and scooters are allowed always and they also allow bikes on certain sessions. You pay for your session and can come and go all day, which was awesome to go grab something to eat and come back to skate.I cannot say enough great things about this park, come to Skatepark of Tampa and Shred!

Been coming here since I was 7. Love the atmosphere very chill. Everyone is so kind and helpful to beginners and the employees are great. The shop is a great experience because of their selection and quality of hardgoods. Skate Camp and lessons are so fun for younger kids. No child is too young or too inexperienced to come here and shred. Online orders ship incredibly fast with the precision and accuracy you would expect from a large online retailer. My favorite employees are Tim, Rolo, and Uncle Sam! Great place for all ages!

Such an outstanding time with these guys. I am fortunate to meet with Brian, the one who started it all to make all a dream for us ever since 1993. The staff is outstanding and will all be there to go above and beyond your expectations. Such an incredible selection of product, whether online or to see in the shop in person. I came here today for the first time to buy a helmet. Everyone there was super nice and immediately willing to help me find what I was looking for. They have an awesome teamwork approach and I felt like a valued customer from the moment I walked in.I highly recommend this place and Ill definitely be back soon!

I have ordered a slew of stuff from these guys. More recently with the quarantine, I decided back in March that I would regularly support this place in terms of an online option. They always have the vans authentic‘s I am looking for in stock, and their UPS ground option is great. I’ve placed over 5 orders with them since March. Same shoes every time! I placed an order on a Monday and got it Wednesday.Never once have I waited for a response as sometimes I want to know immediately when it would ship; these guys will get right back to you and if you call them, they will answer your question right there on the phone and are friendly. In terms of an online skate shop, I suggest you go through SPOT.

Super magical place. I was afraid it would be too hardcore for little kids. I was afraid there would be a bunch of young adults acting crazy, saying inappropriate things and doing drugs, but none of that was the case. Everybody was cool and respectful. I was also surprised how big all the skating areas were, too. Everythings so spread out. Everyones not piled up on top of each other. Mad space to move around and be in your own zone. We had a good time.

We love taking our kiddos here and its their favorite park to go to! Well kept park with a great skate shop.

Best skatepark Ive been to so far. Something for everyone, lots of space, a place for non skaters to chill, etc. No air conditioning in the warehouse but several industrial sized fans so it wasnt bad considering its Florida.

Awesome Place in the World! The mitical Tampa Skatepark. An experience life!!!

Simply iconic. The Pro course is indoors. Bicycle friendly, scooter kids show up occassionally. There is a large cement riding area outside and a great wooden beginner area inside an adjoining building. There is an air conditioned lounge area with pizza and snacks. Pro shop has all your riding needs and the staff is super helpful and friendly.

This is a great place for all ages. My kids love it here. The staff is helpful and friendly. The store is stocked woth cool items. the lounge area is great as well.

Awesome spot (no pun intended) to skate, shop and build lifelong friendships...shout out to Uncle Sam and Boards for Bros.

My son enjoyed skating here. Everyone who works here is very nice. The layout is nice for both skateboard and scooter riding. There are two indoor places to skate and one outdoor area. Lots of places for parents to sit and watch. Skaters here arent very friendly but I guess that is just how things are around here.

What can you say bad about a legendary staple skatepark in the skateboarding industry and community. Everything they do or event they hold is top shelf excitement and the best skateboarding hands down in the world during the annual Tampa Am and Tampa Pro venues. A must hit in your lifetime if your into skate, music and the culture that surrounds it. 5 stars all day.

We traveled from St Augustine to Tampa for the Tampa pro event! My boyfriend is a die hard skater so he was totally stoked to be able to make it. We got a ton of signatures from so many pro skaters on pretty cool Tampa pro posters. Of course we each had to get our own! Everyone there was super friendly and we definitely enjoyed our time there. We didnt get the best pictures because we were asking random people to take them for us but its the memory that counts! My boyfriend caught the Nike SB hat that Im wearing, in a toss out.

All the staff and volunteers were incredible they taught my kids how to skate it was so awesome to watch.

If you like to skate, this is probably one of the best skate parks Ive ever seen. They have a little bit of everything from rails to stairs to quarter pipes. They have an indoor and outdoor area. It is a little small l, so if its crowded its easy to skate up on someone else. However, for what they have available to skate on, you cant beat this place. They gave an area upstairs where you can sit and watch. It does get cold in the winter months so bring a jacket unless youre skating. I would assume that it would be hot in the summer. They do have a full skate shop up front where you can buy anything you need. The place is very well built and very clean. They do offer skate camps and after school programs. People of all ages are welcome here.

Bring my Son at least 2 times a week from Plant City... Took him to other Parks closer to home, but we always end up back at SPoT... Nice layout and design... My Son loves it here and thats what matters to me....

Ive been to a lot of skateparks in my life. This is by far the best. Great staff, fun park, great store. All you could ever want in a skatepark/store.

Ordered 7 pairs of independent dealer of destruction trucks. I asked for them to be individually wrapped and they were just piled in the box. The box had holes and damage thats why I wanted them individually wrapped. The trucks have dents and scratches. I sent an email and got no response. Really disappointed.

Sly was so helpful getting my son ready to skate this morning and then educating us as we sought to find a suitable board for him to purchase. Later, Tim, the manager provided more information about the park, rates, lessons and selecting appropriate shoes and pads. Great experience and we will definitely be back!!

A great place, I cannot say enough good things about this place. Very safe atmosphere to take your kids and even leave them if they are old enough. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. To me skateboarders are like tattoo artist if youre not good most of them dont want to help you but this place is different. The staff and even some of the better skateboarders always seem to want to help my son skate better. Although you can buy skateboard products cheaper online I buy all mine here just because of the service and the friendly and courteous staff. Great place. Everything is laid back and nobody is high-strung

Very incredible mostly indoor skatepark in Tampa. Our 11 year old is learning how to skate and doing different tricks in the skate park was perfect for our time while on vacation in Tampa. Theres plenty of parking and the skatepark is laid out where difficulty levels of all kinds can be challenged and improve. It was nice to have shade and access to water fountain and theres even an indoor air-conditioned area where you can go to. Definitely worth the money its $10 to get in but its certainly worth it if you make it last for a few hours. I highly recommend coming to the skatepark the only downside was the loudness of the music there and sometimes theyll play a full album of punk and it gets a little redundant, it wasnt that bad but they could use a little bit of music variety.

The course is pretty boring (Or so my nephew tells me). We drove here from Athens, GA to finally experience the amazing Skatepark ofTampa, but instead we experienced the disappointing Skatepark of Tampa. Not Impressed.

Growin up skatin at 4-6 years old skatin in cali n seeing that place, i always wanted to skate there n i finally did today! Lol im 25 n i finally skated it!! Lol ive been so stoked today during and after lol fun park you can do basic skatin some bowls n then the pro park which is gnarly! Lol

This place is great! Friendly staff, knowledgeable instructors, and the courses have something for everybody (beginner to advanced). Kids board on Sunday morning, and girls/women skate free all the time.
