This is a low key Gem in the Tampa area. Fabulous bar with incredible entertainment. The drinks are fairly priced. Staff is friendly and courteous. The patio bar has been redone and looks great. The shows are great with a new stage. Atmosphere is friendly and inviting. This is definitely a welcoming place for all.

Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. The service was very welcoming and sociable. The bill was good for how much you get.

Nice environment during Covid, not too crowded and didn’t feel sketchy or uncomfortable which is a rare find in the gay nightlife scene.

Todd and raven are the worst bartenders. Todd is rude and zero personality. Raven fails to return your change and makes terrible drinks

Amazing place to be. Recently moved to Tampa and was looking for a place lgbt focused. Todd was the most gracious, friendly and hospitable bar tender Ive had the pleasure to be served by in quite awhile. I just so happened to walk in on the night of the Drag Show Finals and boy was I not disappointed. The atmosphere was friendly, kind, and welcoming. Officially a regular after tonight

I have been visiting this place ones in a while for about 20 years or more, life change and the same with this place, is not welcoming anymore, I am referring about bartenders and customer. You walk at this bar and is small crowds that they just having fun, no interesting to make friends. Just a new bartender(who told me that he are been working there for the past 3 months) he was nice. Drinks like a Sex on the Beach is $5.00, the drag show is pathetic, and just after they finish the show, people start living the place. Majority of customer now are lesbian couples and no friendly age people. Last night I was there for half hour and after 2 drinks I left, my last try to have friends in this places.

The owner, Jim, made my first visit comfortable and welcoming despite my female gender stating everyone is welcome here. Karaoke was amazing with some talented entertainment. Jim has completed quality renovations and has plans to continue to improve the space. Bartenders were great. Enjoyable evening.

Festive atmosphere for LGBT/friends of too! Happy hour and entertainment thru the week. Clean and smoker friendly and the smoke filters actually work.

What can I really say? The bartenders know how to pour a drink!! Warm, inviting neighborhood bar with Incredibly friendly service. A little gem tucked away in southern Tampa. Definitely a great bar to hangout with friends without ever breaking the bank.

Ive been going to this club for years. On the rare occasions that I do go out its usually here. I use the patio bar as the music inside is too loud for my taste and I dont care for drag shows. The outside bar is geared more toward conversation instead of drag or karaoke. I recommend City Side. One of only 3 bars left in Tampa

Stopped by after work for a cocktail and the smoke was the absolutely worse I’ve ever seen it. I was choking from it and had to walk back outside to catch my breath. I sat at a table as far away from the bar as possible just to finish my drink, and then I had to leave. It really wasn’t that busy, so it must have been all the chain smokers or the ventilation system not working.

Outstanding bar with friendly staff and great drinks! Something for someone to do every night. Bingo on Sundays is always a good time!

Great times. The bar tenders are great. The owner, Jim is a great person who really cares about everyone. Good neighborhood bar in afternoon, and more like a small club later at night. Theee bars, and two patios. The big one out back is very relaxing. Sundays there is a free cookout with Danny or Andy at the grill.

Service staff are the most disrespectful in the business. Worse gay club in Tampa!!! How do I get attacked inside your establishment, in fear of my life, from a gaybasher? You need better security. PERIOD! I as a gayman should feel safe inside your establishment, without retribution. AWFUL! DONT GO!

Comfortable well kept clean local watering hole. Not like many of your local South Tampa bars. This is not a dive bar! Great bartenders. The owner takes care of his patrons buy hosting great specials, theme nights and sporting events. Live entertainment on select nights.

SMOKY. This would be such a great bar if they would enforce people having to smoke outdoors only. It is seriously a gigantic stank hole of smoke. Otherwise, fantastic.

If youre above the club age. This place is a nice place to come out to. It plays decent music and its warm and inviting.

Well called an uber to get there ..went in sat at the bar and I had a thermos cup..the bartender said I couldnt bring it in..I said u can empty it but Im not driving..he got real nasty and said I need to leave..so I told him I would leave when my uber came..I wasnt going outside being I was alone a lady and from north carolina..needless to say..please check reviews and the area

Quaint. However, it is in Florida and the outside patio is only open on weekends. I should have given it a half Star. The bartenders were friendly.

Bar is full of the unfriendliest men in one of the unfriendliest cities I have ever been in. Its full of little clusters of queens with A-list pretensions who talk to no one but themselves. You can stand there for an hour and never be spoken to by anyone (because the only guys there are ones in their little protective clusters; no singles.) As others have observed, the smoke is terrible; no real attempt has been made to make the place a healthy and attractive alternative for non-smokers. Parking is quite difficult, too, with stories of towing abounding. I gave the place several visits just to be sure of my experience. Bad bar in a bad city.

Been 2 Sundays in a row. This is the most unfriendly bar I have ever been too from Las Vegas too NYC too Florida. The people have thier heads so far up their own a***s its pathetic...I ask the bartender (troll by the way) what was playing he said walking away rolling Stones station on pandora and ignored me the whole time and acted like he couldnt wait for me to leave. Might as well make this a private VP club and change the name from City Side to Shi**y Side....
