Amazing experience with Heidrun at The Great Frame Up. Ive never had a print professionally framed and will never turn back. I was blown away with the quality and customer service I received. Heidrun knew exactly the look we were going for and helped me match the perfect and unique frame, Ive already received a ton of complements. The order also came in super quick. We were so excited with how everything turned out and hung the frames up as soon as we got home. Highly recommend!

Store is easy to locate. Quick turn around time considering all that is going on at the present moment. Will definitely be going back to get more pictures done there.

The Great Frame Up did a remarkable job on a custom order honoring my late father with medals, badges, and ribbons from his law enforcement and military careers. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They discussed lots of options and varieties while understanding my budget and wants. I highly recommend stopping in and seeing what Heidrun can come up with for you!I had a few professional certificates and diplomas that have been too too long filed into a folder, into a box, into a closet, and it was about time to get them onto a wall. I ended up at The Great FrameUp because I wanted a professional look, and I just wasnt impressed with what was out there at the consumer level. I had no idea at the time what a great decision that was...I walked into the storefront with several of my documents in tow, and met Heidrun who, after inviting my dog in, went right to work listening to my intent and trying a few things out, and in a matter of minutes she really nailed it on a couple designs. I was so happy that after all these decades I was finally going to have an attractive treatment for these artifacts that meant so much to me!I was so pleased with what they did that I also brought in my USMC stuff, that for years I had wanted to put into a shadow box, but never figured out how to do it right. Heidrun and Alan built something for me that blew me away. When I saw it, I had to take a moment to collect myself, I was so taken by what these artifacts actually meant to me and yet had been gathering dust for decades... the presentation was simply fabulous. I was actually grateful (if not just a wee-bit misty - haha!).If you have anything that you might want to display or dont know what to do with, dont delay - bring it in and see what Heidrun and Alan have to say about it; youll be glad you did. I love this place!

First and foremost, I want to thank Heidrun who has been an absolute dream to work with...She has been so friendly and patient from the very beginning, assisting me with experimenting different style frame designs, border materials, color contrast and type of glass that would make my piece stand out to my desired liking. Im not the artistic type but her creativity is bar none.Heidrun assured me that the piece would be properly taken care of from the start. She also had told me it would be ready to pick up in approximately two weeks, which I was perfectly content with. Within a few days, Im notified that the painting is ready. I wasnt expecting it so swiftly.I was pleased to be allowed to pay in two separate payments.After my initial payment, I had changed my mind to switch to the Museum Glass (100% worth it) and added the difference to the final bill.Overall, The quality and attention to detail has been superb and I cant recommend their services enough. Will certainly be going back and looking forward to getting my next piece framed. Thank you again.Edit: I apologize for the picture quality - taken on a phone camera. Looks much better in person.

I have had several pieces framed in the last couple of years. Each time I walk in, I am never sure what I want, but without fail Mrs. Divers always comes up with the perfect matte, frame and glass! The fiinished productis always exactly what is needed to complete the the rooms ambience.

My husband and I brought in a Japanese style brushed ink painting by his grandfather - an irreplaceable and priceless family object. Heidrun was very knowledgeable and helpful with all of our questions. She gave us great confidence that they would be able to frame this piece with no issues. She helped us with frame choices, matts, and colors.The final product was finished earlier than anticipated and we love it! Yes, the price was expensive, but we wanted to preserve this painting with museum quality glass and a beautiful frame. If your piece deserves it, its worth it!I will be bringing any other framing projects here.

First, WOW!!! Second, AMAZING!!! I discovered the Great Frame Up about 5 years ago. Heidrun and Alan are the incredibly sweet and generous people who bring life to this store. They have done at least 7 of my diplomas and Supreme Court certificates. As a Lawyer, these items are extremely special to me. Heidrun and Alan have spent countless hours helping me realize what I was envisioning for my things. They have patience unlike most other people, because I am probably one of their most challenging and analytical customers and I have spent literally 2 or more hours in there on more than one occasion just to pick exactly what I wanted for just 1 or 2 certificates. They are both incredibly talented artistic people. They have helped me create very unique frames and the other components that go into turning special documents into art. I wish I could hold an art opening to show everybody the beautiful work they have done for me. I will appreciate what they helped me create for the rest of my life. They take great care in helping you transform your documents into something beautiful. And I will take ALL of my special items to them and watch as they become art. Oh, and by the way, they have actual art there too which keeps me staring in wonderment! They are genuinely 2 of the nicest and most talented people I have met in a long time. If you take your things anywhere else, it’s your loss.

Great experience! Owner was extremely helpful in framing my diploma. I know nothing about framing so having everything explained was great. Competitive pricing and for having a relatively inexpensive order and being a new customer I was surprised at how friendly, helpful, and willing to help the owner was. Highly recommend. They sell some nice artwork as well.

Im very happy with the framing that was done on my paintings and the lady working was so nice and helpful. Its really expensive so not sure if I will go back for a few other items I want done.

Great final product! I bought a Groupon to use for custom framing. I was caught in traffic and they stayed open a few extra minutes to allow me time to get there to place a time sensitive order for an upcoming event. Everything about this was perfect. I highly recommend this business.

Since 2008, Heidrun and Alan Divers of the Great Frame Up in South Tampa, have framed more than a dozen photographs, paintings, and lithographs for our home. They even framed our daughters baptismal gown. Heidrun and Alan are talented professionals. They know their inventory, work well with their clients, and excel at selecting the perfect frame to compliment and accent your photograph or painting.

10/10. I was coming down to Tampa to visit a client and I wanted to have a jersey framed as a gift. When I realized it would be too expensive to shift, I started calling around placed in Tampa to get quotes. That is when I came across Heidrun and her team. Heidrun was incredibly professional and helpful on the phone. When I explained my situation, she reassured me she could get the job done. She had me ship her the jersey, and in blind faith, I trusted her. She didnt let me down. She actually e-mailed me to let me know she would open her shop early to make sure I had time to come pick up. The final product was beyond my expectations. These guys do great work at a great price. Recommended!

Ive been going to The Great Frame Up in Tampa for the last 7 years and have had nearly 20 pieces framed during that time -- from oil paintings, sketchings, tapestries, batik clothwork, lithographs, even a bamboo scroll. I can categorically say that in each case, the meticulous thoughtfulness Heidrun demonstrates as she selects the frame, matte, and glass based on the specific elements of each piece never fails to impress. In nearly all cases, the resulting framework has been more impressive than the underlying piece! She and her husband, Alan, bring fun and passion to their work and this definitely shows in the high quality and professional product they provide their customers.

I had an unfortunate experience here. Most of the people were VERY nice, knowledgable, and had great customer service. There was a crazy woman in the store w/ long blonde hair. She was kind of rude to me and I overheard her talking with another customer and WOW! If I ever talked to anyone like that, I would have been fired! ha! Shes probably the owner! LOL! Anyway, not a good experience. I ended up going somewhere else because of this womans attitude. There is a place almost directly across the street (more local - Smith Brothers). Not as nice a place, but much nicer people!
