Busy all the time. But for good reason. Its a decent track for players at all levels. There are 2, 18 hole courses a 71 and a 64. Both are good, the greens roll nuce and true. You cant beat it for the price.

I played both the Championship Course and the Glades Course on consecutive days after not touching golf clubs for over 10 years. I enjoyed both days and both courses. The Glades Course is more of a longer Executive course with only one Par 5 and lots of Par 3s. The Championship Course will challenge you as it is much longer than Glades. The staff is very polite and helpful. Two challenges I had were with signage on both course is not always definitively clear on where to go. And there is only one Golf Cart with refreshment working both courses. Overall, great value.

Course is decent especially when there is a good deal offered. However a number of the staff are very rude which drops its down to 2 stars since customer service is everything the golf industry. Staff here really needs to improve their attitudes.

If I could rate this negative 1 I would. Very ridiculous how the golf players don’t know how to play instead they aim towards peoples residences. I already got two windows broken in less than one year. Y’all should train these careless people to aim better.

The greens were good but the tee boxes were mostly just sand it was very hard to get a good footing for my drives.

I played Colony West on May 2,2020! I’ve played there many times in the past! I must say for a course that used to be a PGA Q school qualifying course, it is anything but that now!One of the main retention ponds was completely dried up! I’ve never seen that before! The tee boxes had no grass on them! Traps look bad! City wasted all the money on a big concrete debacle while having no clue that the course itself is where the money should have been spent! Marriott needs to come down here and see for themselves before entering this project! It certainly does not live up to their standards!

This place is on its way to be a destination for all kinds of events. Plan on January to check it out!!

Championship course, majority of T-boxes need to be new did. Bunkers are lakes, drainage needs to be addressed.

People working there are rude!!! Acted like they didn’t want to be there! The course was very bad. Who have been better off playing at Cooper colony in Cooper City . At least they appreciate your business!

I havent played this track for about a decade. The course turns out better than I expected. The greens are slower but the layouts are good. For $20ish afternoon price, I would play it any day

Nice golf course. It felt for us strange to play so close between the houses. Even dangerous. But the course is good maintained, nice and friendly employees.But there is a renovation/new building goings-on, so at the moment the entrance is not clear even a little bit difficult to find....

Needs for them to finish the work on the course, they have being working on it for a long time .So by the time they get nine fixed the other nine is all tore up.

Everyone knows that Colony West’s Championship Course has a great layout. The PGA held the Jackie Gleason Classic there almost 50 years ago, which has morphed into the Honda Classic. The course has had its struggles over the past 20 years. They are now building a new clubhouse, so there’s a lot of construction going on. That being said, the condition of the course is coming back. The greens are wonderful. The fairways are decent. The rough is really difficult because the grass is sparse after the 1st cut. If you are missing fairways and greens you may draw a tough sand/dirt lie, especially right and left of the greens. I think this is a product of the maintenance staff getting the best bang for the cost. Straight hitters will love it. Looking forward to the completion of the clubhouse so that the course can generate more revenue to maintain the rough. Until that time, I’ll need to work on my swing and find more fairways and greens. Five stars is just around the corner.

Price good....place is over played..understaffed on course..Greens starting to go bad..greens were great two weeks ago..hate to see it go downhill before new hotel goes in..Someone should wake up..we wont play here till it possibly shapes up.

Great golf course

2 courses. The championship is definitely nicer and in better condition, but the glades is a nice short course. The construction on the club house takes a little away, but once the new clubhouse is built this place will be a lot nicer. Biggest drawback to this course is there is no driving range to warmup before a round, just a little putting green.

Home of the cheap golf and cheaper customer service. After 3 years of golfing here the customer service has deteriorated. Employees seem angry like they dont want to be there. As former card holders we were regulars and loved golfing here, however it is now a last resort. If you need a cheap course, with not so great customer service this will suffice.

Nice well maintain, greens sloped, curved and fast. Dont putt to hard or you will putt 3 times before you put the ball in the hole. . Love it. For 33$ cant get better price with CanAm golf.

Course is going through a ton of changes greens are rolling pretty well facilities hopefully within a year will be completed tons of construction played the champ course pace was fine for the afternoon long course challenging can’t wait til the fairways and tee boxes are all up to shape will be back.

First time Ive played the champ course since the new greens, and the construction. Yes, parking is a little different, but the course has added shuttle carts. Great idea. The new greens are rolling great. The staff is always great.

Greens are in great condition. Fairways are okay. Massive construction underway. Clubhouse being demolished and replaced by a new hotel. Temporary mobile office for clubhouse. Golfing is still good if you can overlook the construction.

My son and I played here today on the executive course - Glades. Greens were better than I expected - they are soft so make sure you fix your ball marks folks!!. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. Theres enough par 4s to allow you to use your driver. A few of the fairways did have some wet spots but nothing that would scare me off. Its a nice layout and has a nice clubhouse.I would definitely play here again. Were here for a week and we might try the championship course.To the staff - thanks for the hospitality. Hopefully well play here again soon.

Play here all the time. Fair prices, Very nice people, who care about the course and the golfers. Tournaments here are well managed, and great prizes with food following. Champ course is Re-opening on October 1st, new greens, improved fairways and cart paths!! Cant wait!!

The Championship course at Colony West Country Club is a well-rated and always popular layout. This tree-lined and open parkland course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

4 months ago I gave this place 4 stars but after coming back another three or four times I have to lower it to 3 stars.It seems as if the service here gets worse every time that I come. The employees seem in general not happy to be here. I even observed an employee tell a paying customer to go somewhere else if theyre not happy with the service here. Not the reactiont you would think they would give to a patron.The course however is in good condition and the pricing is competitive. I now only come here as a last-minute option. I truly believe they deserve a 2.5 star rating but we will round up to 3.

Clubhouse has been razed and construction of a new clubhouse is underway. Course is in pretty good shape. Greens have been redone and are nice.

Played golf there over the weekend. it is a CONSTRUCTIOIN SITE. ! The place is ridiculous. Not sure who is managing this construction etc... but I found it all to be very unfriendly and unappealing. It was an embarassment to take someone there ! I called and made a reservation and the person asked me to guarantee it with a credit card, then when one of my 3 party did not show they sent me a cancellation via email. Not sure yet if they are charging my account, but this is not TRUMP Doral or even Jacaranda. The place is an absolute mess! One of the workers told me it has been like this for 9 months! endless chain link fencing, the trailer is the new office and is 200 yards from the parking lots. the place is dusty, dirty and the employee behind the counter was a jerk to the people before me as well. I am being generous with the 1 star rating.

The people at this course were extremely friendly and helpful. I played there regularly 10 years ago. The course is a challenging layout for every experience level. I drove from West Palm just to play the championship course again.

I sent out of town guests to play golf at Colony West, not telling them the City owns the course. They raved about the course and how pleasant the staff was. They loved the hamburgers, French fries, and cold beer after the round. Thanks Colony West, my guests had a great time!

I didnt actually go golfing but the place looks really nice the green is really green the place is well kept up and clean.

Summer specials include $9 at 3 p.m. on the weekends for the championship course, but I enjoy playing at The Glades course because theres plenty of time to practice there. Not crowded at all. Foods great at the restaurant too!

Glades Course:Its growing season was the answer why the fairways and greens arent cut at all. The bunkers are not existing anymore. Its a shame for that short funny Golf course cause it was fun to play the short holes. I hope they change it soon. It could be a great training course.2 stars cause the employees are really friendly and helpful

Course needs some work. Fairways are rough. Greens are in good shape. Just need to upgrade everything. Bar is old but food is awesome. Happy hour prices are very good.

The course was nice and most greens were good. Some had a few weeds and all are about a medium speed. Beers are cheaper when there is a game on (Sunday). Id play here again. Fees were low. There were no sand traps on the course I played. Fun day of golf.

Played 18 holes yesterday. The greens were aerated, but I was advised of that before paying AND they had reduced rates because of the aeration. Was able to play the round by myself without being pushed or held up. Fairways were good (I was in them enough to know their condition), sand traps were in decent condition (was able to avoid them most of the day). They seem to be working on the course.....improving the cart paths, cleaning up some of the traps. Hadnt played there in 20 years and enjoyed the round very much, even with the greens being aerated. I WILL be back!!

Enjoyed golfing at the Champs course. Great layout, course in excellent shape. Greens very slow, need to be mowed. Poor signage on the course and no hole descriptions on the scorecard. Friendly staff. Very reasonable price. Would surely go back.Rated okay because of slow greens and poor signage.

I played golf on the championship course today with two other guys, when I got there I asked the starter how the course was in, and he said it was a very good shape. He had us tee off on the back nine because he said they were doing some maintenance on the front nine. As we started playing we noticed that a lot of the greens were in bad shape. Not like the conditions he told us. they were in. When we went to the front nine the minor maintenance was they sanded the greens on us without even telling us and I thought that was not right of them. after we were done playing I went to go talk to the manager, he argued with me by saying the greens were in very good shape and that only three of the front nine greens have been sanded. I think if they had told us that in the beginning we would not have played at Colony West, theres just too many good courses to play I told him that I was going to write a review on my experience and he told me go ahead Im just going to change it anyways.I will never play there again I would advise anybody that is thinking about playing there, to find somewhere else to play., He is a very bad manger, they need to get rid of him.

Pam was amazing, she had answers for any and all questions I had and she was quick to get back to me about things we needed. Overall it was a great experience working with them leading up to the day, we had very open communication and they were very accommodating with all my questions and requests.

Okay so to be honest it isnt the greatest of golf courses. BUT... the staff is always friendly and the prices can not be beat. They typically have a Play the temp times 10 rate after 3:30pm. Where else can you get out and play 9-18 holes (depending on time of year) for $8-9 with a cart?

Nursing home not a good experience!

Played the Championship course today. It took 5 hours and 15 minutes!!!! Every hole we waited and waited and waited. It wasnt the people in front of us or the people in front of them. They flat out overbook! Will not play there again this year or ever until they get their tee times right where you can play without having to wait 10-15 minutes on every shot!!!!!! And I even purchased their membership card. Never again! Today was the pits.

Probably the biggest piece of crap golf course in south Florida. $32 to play 18 holes is a joke. the greens are the biggest embarrassment. its 90% sand and 10% grass. if you want to play behind Canadians all day, 2 male Canadians and 2 female Canadians, then please play, colony west. i would rate it a zero if i could. but i cant.

Ducked in for an ASIS / law enforcement / active shooter seminar and the place and responsible staff were handy, helpful, and professional. Plenty of parking and the food was better than expected.

Fairways are descent, but thengreens are awful. Full of holes, they should take more care of that.
