This is one of the coziest and friendliest bars in town. They have expanded their food menu and the acoustics for live music is awesome! What more could you ask for?

Great venue for live music. they just had a really good musician from New Orleans, Andrew Duhon, come through (Im from New Orleans so I can vouch for his greatness!) ... Love that the bar area is in a separate room with boothes as well so you can take a break if needed. They also serve food and the bartenders and staff are always friendly !

Great vibe and decor. The open mic nights as well as karaoke nights rarely fail to impress as theres always some unknown talent that comes though. The music venue can get a little loud but hey you arent at a venue and bar to be quiet! The food is also awesome. The menu is unique and tasty (also with a few vegetarian options). Lastly the staff is always fun and down to earth. Love this spot. Also dont forget to say hi to Princess on your way in.

Pretty good venue! Didnt see music but rather, midget wrestling. Good beer prices and craft selections. Food was also tasty. I had a pork taco and the grits (super yum) and my husband had the mac and cheese. He asked for no sour cream but got it anyway. Still good but would have been better without the tang. Overall, the people running the bar were nice and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

What a great place Russ has. Always laid back, always clean, always a friendly atmosphere. Great local music venue, awesome acoustics, and always, always great food. Thank you Russ, for staying afloat during this pandemic. You did a great job with the place, it looks great. Amy and I look forward to spending many evenings here.

My personal favorite place in Tallahassee.. Ask for a Russarita you wont be disappointed. Has live music and events on the weekends, karaoke and open mic nights during the week.... A++++

Cool place but jesus, ive seen as much or more live music as anyone and this place (at least the night i went) was loud AF. Every cymbal crash took a year off my hearing capacity

J@M is a great and friendly place! Comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Perfect for an older crowd - couples and singles. Music from the late 70s to early 80s. Many fun scheduled events. Theres even fantastic artwork of favorite musicians for sale. (I think from a local artist?) No disappointments! Check out their website.

This venue is now a part of my story. I went here for a live show to see Aaron and friends perform. Great band, great show, friendly service at the bar. Clean venue, nice chill spot. Its really good!

The Band, FreakAndy was awesome. Their lead singer, Dan Owens, can sing almost anything just like the original artist. The Santa was a lot of fun, too. The food menu was cool with names for dishes that paid tribute to famous artists and groups. Its just a great place!

2020 Update: Russ did renovations and it looks amazing! There is a stage in the bar/restaurant area. The larger event band stage has also been renovated. Sunday and Thursday evenings are Karoake nights. They have live local music acts perform there also! Definitely check out their Facebook page or website for a listing of all the events and hours theyre open. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere every time we have gone to The Junction. The appetizers, sloppy Joes and tacos are great. We love that all the items have musical names. They even have vegetarian options and gluten free crackers available for those with dietary issues.

Love Russ and staff. Food is good and drinks are strong. Music venues are always fun!

Great place to see a play. Intimate venue

My family and I visited from PCB to see JARED AND THE MILL in concert there. A+++ for the whole experience. Venue is amazing, atmosphere awesome, drinks were fabulous, food (OMG- crab cakes delicious but the Brie B King was out of this world we ordered two!) Staff all were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed 3 amazing bands and then Karaoke. My sons girlfriend is quite talented at Karaoke and was able to belt one out before we hit the road for home. We will definitely keep up with future events. Well worth the drive.

Awesome venue for music. Great acoustics and close proximity to the stage performers. Russ, the owner, and his staff are fabulous.

Wow. The short story is walking in you see the beautiful brick and rustic pieces of what was once a feed store. Staying you here fantastic music, get great service, and can sample tasty food and drinks.The food is tasty with a variety of signature Sloppy Joes, burgers, sandwiches, mac & cheese, and more. Chips and other snacks are handy if you feel a little peckish.The bar serves good drinks and a good selection of beers that fit your tastes. Soft drinks are also available with free refills (keep your cup).The atmosphere is relaxing with separate bar and stage areas. The bar includes booths. The stage area comes with seating, tables (some of which you can reserve), and space to dance. Unreserved seating is a first come first serve basis.

Great place to see live music in Tallahassee. Love the setup with separated full bar and booths in front with a tv showing the band. Avoiding the bar talking over the music. Stage room sounds good and has plenty of tables with a large dance floor. So many good venues to compete with in lil ole tally rn but wish they booked some bigger shows. Maybe lack of support for JAM doesn’t allow them to. This place seems all about supporting music and the players but has a lot of beers and food too. Wish I would have visited sooner and will definitely be back.

The Junction @ Monroe is a cool spot. It is a bar with food and a listening room. The bar is fully stocked and the house drinks are nice and sneak up on you. I will be going back.

From their esoteric display of art to their bingo nights to their nights where you can enjoy bands spit balling music and experimenting new sounds, this is one of the most unique and enjoyable music venue/bars/restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to experience. And holy lord, the food to boot. Russ and Josie are so welcoming, dont miss out on this unique experience of Tallahassee.

Great venue for bands. The stage and sound are set up well. They have decent drinks and a good food menu. I really enjoyed the crab cakes.

I experienced a latin night event in this location and i had an amazing time. Dj style knows EXACTLY how to keep you dancing. The drinks were good and the staff was welcoming. Definitely will revisit.

It used to be cool when you could bring your own alcohol and just buy mixers but they no longer allow that. They do sell liquor etc. but its WAY overpriced! There are much cheaper bars elsewhere in town or I can just buy a bottle and drink at home with my boyfriend. The owners are nice and all but they just arent offering anything I cant get cheaper elsewhere. Like I said it used to be cool when you could bring your own bottles. Now? Nothing special and certainly not worth the money!

Unique place...not what you expect from the outside or just driving by. Great live music, solid drink and food selection, and friendly staff...definitely worth going to.

Awesome local vibe. I got to jam out to an amazing local band and end the evening with some bomb ass BBQ. This is an old peoples spot but I love it. Their pulled pork Muddy Waters is amazing. I love the vibe here. If you come by yourself or alone you wont be disappointed. Hidden jem by far!

This place is an amazing little gem! The Lil’ Richard Sloppy Joe was amazing and my picky 7 year old devoured his taco! The owner played football with my son!!! When you have time, check it out. I promise you will not be disappointed.

What a beer selection! Great bar with a fun owner. We didnt eat but they have a tremendous selection of sloppy Joes and they all look good. The adjacent venue seats about 50-75 and features a wide range of musical acts. The building dates back to 1937 and was a grain store.

Thursday night karaoke was absolutely awesome! I highly recommend.

This place has outstanding sound room and short of Ruby Diamond at FSU, is the best sounding, acoustical room for live music in the area. It is not just for music as it is a wonderful place for theatrical productions as well. Right now a very beautiful diamond in the rough and Tallahassee should support such a great venue on a side of town that needs more venues of this kind.

The ambiance is great! The building has old fashioned fire doors, the sound system is fantastic and the food is good. I love this place!

Not a bad venue for music, but went there for food and drinks early one Saturday only to get kicked out for not wanting to pay a cover for a band I was not even watching. When I went to go back inside they would not let me enter without paying the cover until I pointed out that I still had to pay my bill. Idiots.

Great place to hang out and listen to live music! Full bar and yummy eats. Make sure you dont miss this place.

Pretty disappointed, actually. The food was ok, though not much of a selection. No table service anymore. The bar was so hit I was sweating just sitting there. They used giant sharpie markers on the hand for age. We all agreed we wouldnt be back. Sharp decline in service.

Awesome Freak show!

Food and beer is twice the price it should be and the sloppy dip was bland and cold. But the music was incredible and the people were friendly and diverse. If you dont mind spending $100 for a good time for two, I recommend this place for sure.
