Very well presented. I had a shiver as I stood in front of the cells. The shared chamber pot along with the sparse bedding really brought it home. From the basement, gallows, kitchen and more I was reminded how hard life must have been for these people.

Very neat one of a kind experience. Took our kids and they really enjoyed it. Only way for us to not repeat history is to not forget it. Its tragic how the Native American population was and is treated. #CherokeeStrong

We are Cherokee and it was interesting to learn more history of the area where our ancestors marched on the trail of tears to. The prison was very interesting and my camera kept taking pictures on its own while in the jail area so my son and I got a laugh out of that. But we really enjoyed our time there and I recommend a visit there to learn more about the history of the outlaws from the area and that visited the area.

Small for the price ($5 per adult, $3 per child), but decently interesting. It is a struggle to spend more than about 45 minutes inside the museum, and thats assuming you stop and read everything. The content was neat though.

Its extremely informative and enlightening to know the Cherokee Nation embraced not only law and order but that they had a working government of their own.

Its a historic site. A little lean on the amount of history that had to have happened
