Surprisingly extensive. The curator was happy to talk but let you explore at your own pace.
A must see for history bluffs. It details a history that is overlooked in the historical annals. The proporiter and owner is extremely knowledgeable. This museum though small provides a detailed history of proud African Americans in the service of this country on the field of battle!
A wonderful museum displaying the history of Black soldiers in the U.S. Military. Very educational! I really enjoyed meeting Jackie, who’s father a Buffalo Soldier, founded the museum!
A well kept secret. Young and old can find out the history and contributions of the Buffalo Soldiers made to the progessionnof civilization across the USA
A treasure! What a wonderful resource for our community. I was warmly welcomed on a Wednesday afternoon and provided with a fascinating introduction to the museum, its mission and vision, and its collections. I learned a lot and departed with much to think about and some good starting points for further reading, research, and reflection. One thing I appreciate is the emphasis on art and literature; every room boasts framed prints and paintings related to the exhibit, and I think that art provides context and connections for the exhibits.Sounds like they offer some really cool summer learning opportunities for youth (ages 14-16 IIRC) and are enthusiastic about partnering with schools to help broaden and deepen students’ understanding of history. I especially appreciate how the museum and its volunteers elucidate connections between local, national, and world history.Well worth a visit and the support of the community.
Full of lots of historic information and relics.
Small, but full of a lot of memorabilia. The owner/curators father was a former Buffalo Soldier, and she is trying to keep his intent alive. Ive donated several Army uniform items for her to use as display material.

The museums offers a historic perspective ok on the often over looked history of the buffalo soldiers and their contribution to American society. The museum is small but the staff is friendly and willing to dialogue with about history and the importance of significant events
