I had signed my son up for 1st grade jr jazz. The day of the first practice I got an email detailing the guidelines for the practice and future games. I was told in the email that I could not bring his siblings. Which is a problem because I have 5 kids 7 down to 2. I could not leave them, and I would not send my 7 year old alone. So I called to ask for my money back. The lady that I talked to, her name was Debbie, was very rude to me. She argued with me for a while on the phone first telling me that I could get a babysitter or have a neighbor watch my kids or to switch off with my husband, which she doesnt know me and what if I didnt have a husband? She also was telling me it was my fault that I didnt know the policy, that they expect us to know any changes and that it was up to me to know I wouldnt get my money back when I had not been told that when I signed my kid up. She was very disrespectful, condescending, told me multiple times that the woman in charge has to prioritize her calls and that I probably wont hear back from her for a while. Saying that I was low on the priority list. However the lady above her did authorize the refund the same day. Proving, this Debbie lady that she was wrong. I really hope that they do something about this. Because of this lady I will never sign any of my kids up for anything at the rec center. She was very rude to me and even when I was crying continued to argue with me. Instead of saying that she would let the people above her know and leaving it at that. Super unprofessional and I will be telling everyone I can about the terrible experience I had.
Very clean and very nice staff they continually disinfect areas where anyone person has been. Thanks so much appreciate all the staff.
It’s a really fun place to go and hang out. And to go play basketball with your friends. Or do any other activities.
When I was doing it, I was watching my brother, and it was an ok size, it was REALLY hot, though. The only thing that frustrates me, is that they need air conditioning. So, bring a tiny portable fan, if they dont fix it before your stay.
Great facility, just wish they were open when we could actually come. Only open until noon on Saturday and closed Sunday?
Really great community center with two large gyms. Great place for junior Jazz and other community events. The staff is friendly and helpful.
They have great basketball courts, an indoor track and they have a ton of fun activities you can register for.I wish the exercise room was larger and had more up to date equipment in it. But it is nice to have a quiet work out because not too many people use it.
Has nice courts and is a low price of $1 to $2
Great rec center... Not a lot of options but hey, were a small town
My son loves to play basketball here.
Weve only visited to watch grandchildren play basketball. Very nice facility.
They seem to be Money hungry & dont care about your children. They have been caught in lies concerning vivint. My children qualify for scholarships for sports, but I have ever only received 1, So Ive hesitated on putting my children in. Last year my daughter suffered a traumatic brain injury on the first day she was supposed to start soccer, we were denied a refund. So I took her to play a couple weeks later but made her wear a helmet she was super embarrassed.I enroll her this year in basketball, & the coaches daughter starts physically assaulting her with hairpulling and pushing & the wife brushing it off as horseplay. The other girls followed suit. My daughter has medical issues in the first place but this has been ridiculous. She has been told by another child to lay down, & after she did, the child bounced a ball off her back with force & laughed about it. When I called to pull her and get a refund or see if she could be switched, I was denied because they wanted to see if they could work it out and they only give refunds before the season starts (what happened when she received a tbi before she started soccer?) . I have been told by the coaches wife who is also sometimes the coach (they take turns), who are unpaid volunteers but should be reliable sources have told me they didnt have games certain times and when I called to check on it as the schedule didnt make sense, I was told there was a game... I have video, photo & recorded phone calls as proof of the issues . Since complaining again I have been told there was only 2 girls at a game & with me showing in 3 minutes they were all there. Another tonight that noone was there. Needless to say they denied me the refund & I keep fighting my daughter to go. I paid for this, for my daughter to have a good experience (which is what it should be about) not for the opposite. The reason they said that they denied me the refund is because the jerseys, the play time, the employees that they pay, the basketball tickets and events that have already been paid for.1st I received a email for event that was supposed to take place on November 6 on November 5th. When I wrote Michael back, he stated that he wasnt notified until last minute about the event. I just spoke to the person who runs the Jr. Jazz, he stated he gave plenty of notice & reminders. He also stated the basketball tickets they give are just for the child & coach (like I trust them with my child) but are deeply discounted and would take the cut on my daughters ticket if that was the hold up on the refund. I told Kelly & Erin. I had no problem returning the Jersey and paying a $1 for the times she did get to make it because thats what it cost to use the facility. I have spoken with Michael, Kelly & Erin. Who all seem to not be able to help. I absolutely hate taking my daughter crying & screaming against her will! Erin in fact treated my concerns as a joke, very unprofessional. He stated assault, I think you should call the cops and file a report. I have the recorded phone call and let him know that it was being recorded.Maybe they dont have children themselves, they seem quite young. So they may not be understanding or compassionate about any of the situations. I refuse to put my daughter and I through this experience any longer as they refused a refund already, with nothing but excuses and lies
