This review is for the Quarry considering many of the reviews are for the concert venue directly adjacent from the swimming area. The quarry is a nice place to relax and swim. The water toys are average but they have a high-dive, volleyball and basketball courts which are fun. The beach is pleasant and overall it’s a classic place to visit during the summer.
Great music but so poorly managed. Saw billy currington there and it was a minimum of 1 hr line to get a drink and 30 minutes to use the restroom. Too many people and not enough concession stands and restroom. Needs to change or I will never go back.
Nice stress free environment. Parking is $5. Great venue for live acts. Decent choice of beer, no waiting in line for restrooms, which were clean. Recommended.
Although I have never been to a concert there, I have attended many disco party dances and had a blast at every one!!! The staff has always been so great and one gal bartender in particular does a great job and very nice to talk to also!! Just went to the 80’s party and had a blast!!!
Awesome venue. Perfect size. Acoustics are great. Quarry looked like it would be fun too Ill have to check that out some time.
We had a blast!! Great food, music, drinks and a wonderful time. Also a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Al and NGA!!! So happy to catch up with a lot of friends we have not seen in years?!!
Was a great time was there for the Beach Boys concert. A totally awesome venue for concerts and other festivities. Complete with a smoking section, plenty of restrooms, and concession stand.
While the water was pretty clear there are quite a few fish in it. There are no showers or even a place to rinse your feet. They do have bathrooms and lounge chairs. There are three diving platforms of varying heights, two large floats and other fun things to climb on. Theres also a large water slide. While there is sand, there is no beach that goes into the water. Since its a quarry be sure that everyone in your party can swim well. No shallow areas there.
Beautiful venue with so much potential. It’s too bad they mostly concentrate on country acts and a couple repeat rock bands :(
I have been to Centennial Terrace a few times for concerts. We also went to see the fireworks last night. They have the best fireworks. Also the band was great, the dance floor is large, its just a nice venue to go to.
Still has lousy management, now charges for parking, not enough seating, has flimsy plastic table and chairs, beer and liquor lines were an awful long wait, food was precooked elsewhere, doesnt permit reentry, (dont forget your umbrella, jacket, bug spray, folding chairs, medications, diapers or smokes, you cant go to your car because they think that you are an alcoholic sneaking away to beat the booze lines) Police were omnipresent, until it was time to leave, this venue has a history of poorly managing vehicular traffic, especially around the Fourth of July. The good news is that those who smoke can, its all outdoors with only a few seats under cover in the cute little gazebos. The sound was pretty good, not too loud, (new residential neighbors nearby) and the stage was only obstructed by the 6 light poles, small trees and sound booth.
Great acoustics. Very clean for an outdoor venue. Enjoyed Hunter Hayes performance. Parking fee of $5 is reasonable. Worth the drive from Pittsburgh PA.
Great venue, clean and such friendly staff!!!
Had a great time swimming at the quarry yesterday! The water was clean and the perfect temperature. My brother and I enjoyed the high dive, the slide and the hanging rings.
I always have a great time @ Centennial Terrace for the rock n roll shows! Clean, friendly, a good place to have a good time ~
Its entertaining and a good sized place, its not too big or small. All concerts I have been to have been phenomenal and not just because of the bands, their venue is perfect for everyone, with chairs in front and grass in the back! It is my favorite venue!
What a fabulous facility in our community. I swam at the quarry when I was a teenager and it is still a popular spot for teenagers. Great venue for concerts.
A quiet location that feels hidden away, Centennial Quarry is a fun place for swimming with friends. But, you have to be able to swim because the quarry feels like it has no bottom, and flotation devices are a no go.
Great concert with STYX. Only problem was people getting up and standing on the seats.
Nice venue, Parking very reasonably priced ($5). Good concert experience
Great concert venue....saw Beach Boys last night and had a good time .
Went to the disco party. Lots of fun. Nice venue.
Had a great time at the GTLO show. Well be back next year!
Cool place, but your sight lines are not good.
Concert was great, but 1/2 way through the main act the womens restroom nearest the will call building was OUT OF TOILET PAPER. I would think that someone would have checked on it to restock mid concert.
You guys should be more clear on your policies and state that this facility is not child friendly for swimming. Took my family here and was told they cannot use their swimmies, and their was no shallow part for the kids to play. Disappointed, but not as much as my kids as we told them we had to get back in the car. 3 stars because we were told before we paid, and I Iove going to concerts here.
Great concerts at the quarry. Never disappointed.
Nice concert venue. Reasonably priced drinks.
Great teen through adult place to swim. leave the little ones with a sitter
I have been attending the Disco party, 80s party and other events at Centennial Terrace for many years. There is a huge following! But I have to say that people are extremely disappointed in the management of the concessions stands in the past couple years. This past Friday, with the 80s party, was probably the worst. It took people in our group anywhere from 25-45 minutes each trip to stand in line for a beer. A BEER!There were people cutting in line, because they were disgusted with how long it took to stand there and waste their evening waiting. Its seriously very discouraging to the customers who are there to dance, have a few cocktails and enjoy the evening. There seems to be fewer bars and fewer staff serving drinks, or other concessions and the staff are EXTREMELY slow and very much a lack of coordination.I hope that management will seriously take a look into these concerns. Centennial Terrace is a great venue. But your customers, should not have to lost half their evening waiting in line.
Centennial terrace is an event venue. It is well cared for, clean. It is hot in the summer. There is no shade.
Love to go swimming here and the live shows are great too. Great to have this kind of place in Toledo.
My family and I would have loved to have gone swimming but they dont know how to answer phones to customer calls.
Will call not opening up before gates is poor planning. Defeats the purpose of getting to a venue early.
Concert was great but service getting drinks or food. Totally needs to be looked at. A little disappointed
Nice venue. Buddy Guy was great.
Its a great place to see concerts!
60+ years ago I spent many summer days at Centennial Terrace - THE PLACE TO BE!!! Our extra special dates were going to dances there during the Big Band Era when the top bands performed as we danced, then ended up surrounding the stage singing along and ab
Very nice venue. Need better parking, very haphazard.
GREAT!!!!staff was helpful, place was clean and the show-STYX-was fantastic
If you are sitting for a great rock show and complain about the people standing, you dont belong there. The place is for sitters. If you attend rock concerts, do not bother with this place. You will be disappointed. The staff is way too uptight. The bands would rather see people up and having a good time. Centennial terrace should stick to orchestras, which there is nothing wrong with.
There were concessions, restrooms and the fireworks were great!!
Visited for Pizza Palooza. Amies Pizza is the best! Go out, try n vote for yourself. Great place for venue.
Easy access for parking, clean grounds, polite staff
The acoustics here are great. It is open and can pack a good crowd.
Its cool, but no tools allowed
