We had steak tacos and the California Grilled Chicken sandwich, curly fries and chips and salsa and plenty of beer (had Antihero IPA on tap - yum). Tristin waited on us and was super delightful. Service was great, the food was perfectly portioned, delicious and priced right. Excellent experience!

They have many alternatives. Bar, outside downstairs, upstairs outside, plenty of servers. Friendly assistance. Would choose to go and bring family and friends. What food I have had has been good and lots of it. What more can I say?!

Never disappointed. Burgers are amazing and outside seating is very nice even during the colder season.

Watched them hassle a woman using the mens room. Last time I checked, IL law said that single occupancy bathrooms must be labeled unisex. Ive never seen this happen in the multiple years Ive gone here. Another woman walked out of the mens room and nothing was said to her.Unbelievable. You should be ashamed.

Very good experience at MVPs. Nice spacious patio. Great service. Our server was attentive and the manager checked on us twice. The burger was excellent, big and juicy. Prices are pretty standard $10-12 for most items. A few more draft choices would be nice.

They have inside, outside and roof seating which is nice. No draft drinks on the roof though, so keep that in mind if you would like to sit up on the roof! Decent amount of options to choose from for food. The tacos, burgers and drinks were good. Decent pricing and okay waitresses.

Typical Sports bar with a cool semi outdoor sitting area and a summer rooftop bar area as well. Good...average bar food with a younger staff made up of typically polite young ladies. Keep your Daughters and Wives away from the Owner and youll have a pleasant day at MVPs.

MVPs provided the bar for our wedding and they did a fantastic job. There was never a line, bartender was very friendly. Nobody was ever without a drink, and the champagne was already poured and waiting for us upon our grand entrance for the speeches. Would highly recommend!

Cozy neighborhood spot with really good, uncomplicated food. My chicken avocado sandwich was great, and was plenty large enough to save half for lunch the next day. The garage door on one wall opens to basically make over half of the street side of the bar an open air patio - it was lovely to have a pleasant breeze while we chatted and watched some baseball.

Visited on 6/22/19. Food was good, although it took 45 minutes to receive our food....it wasnt that busy. The waitress rarely came over to our table to check on us and took care of other customers that came in after us. She only refilled our drinks once and didnt check on us until after we were done with our food. It took her 20 minutes to return back to pick up the check book......seriously! She took other peoples check books before ours and we clearly got there first. Customer service at MVP Sports Bar sucked.

The drinks are really good and the wings are amazing. The service is very nice and hospitable. During the night time on Saturdays, they have a DJ that plays really good music. The DJ can even take requests. The owner is there and is really kind. Its a very welcoming place.

Slow service on the rooftop, the girls working up there seem like they could care less about their job. Food and drinks are decently priced. The atmosphere at night is club-like and they usually have a DJ on the weekends, with no cover.

Went for lunch.. Server was friendly and helpful. Food took a longer time than I expected for as slow as it appeared to be, maybe 3-4 tables and a couple at the bar. Hoping the food was worth the wait, but just ok. Chicken was tough and not much flavor. The fries were hot and crispy, actually better than the sandwich! Nice enough place, but not sure Id hurry back. If youre into watching sports, probably a great bar, plenty of screens.

Its the best bar in town. Mollys, Hometown, and Stanleys dont even compare to it.

Horrible service. Waited 45 min for food. Server forgot our appetizers. Asked for manager, was told there wasn’t one there (might explain the horrible service) had to ask another server to get our food and check. Our server avoided us once we complained and never apologized. Averages food horrible service will never return.

Their best feature is certainly the open air patio on the roof! We came here late on a Sunday and the servers were still cheerful and helpful--not what one often encounters at that time of the week. We were well taken care of, served yummy margaritas, and had a fantastic evening on the rooftop. Looking forward to the next visit!

Took about 25 minutes to get all of the food to us ...we couldnt eat at the same time other people were getting there orders ..I was told we had one cook...really on a Sunday n Playoffs! 187.00 ...wasnt worth it ..food wasnt hot! Server was good wasnt her fault...I wouldnt recommend this place if you have more than 2 people in your party!

Great food. Friend and I had the pulled pork. Very yummy. Its cool they give several choices for your sides I went with curly fries and buddy went with steak fries.

They have great food and great service. I usually see the owner there which makes me like the place even more. Anytime I see an owner working at there business, it feels more like a community instead of big business. Their beer nuggets and their hot wings are really good. And the cocktails are quite nice as well. A lot of people go there after work to just relax and have a good time. On the weekends they end up having a DJ. At least, thats what it used to be. If you want a nice quick bite, along with a nice stiff drink or a beer, thats the place to go.

Service has been slow and relatively incompetent for many of my visits.Food is decent. I love the fish tacos, Mexican style. Beer selection is mediocre. Cocktails are mixed inconsistently.Outside seating is great, however. Overall, you come here for the environment, not the drinks.

Great outdoor atmosphere with a large patio and good food. Plenty of space for kids and family, and not so loud that you cant have a conversation.Service was a bit slow, and the food took longer than expected to come out. Eating with a small child it was surprising that the adult food came out well before the kids meal, seems like poor planning on the kitchens part.

Love this place for Lunch and Dinner. They dont have pizza on the menu, but if you ask, they will have a large pizza with 1 topping ordered for you from World Famous Pizza and get you a pitcher of domestic beer for $20! What a deal, plus they have an outdoor patio on the roof for those excellent sunny days!

Worst bar in Sycamore. Went for the first time with 3 friends. Sat on the left side by the patio...they had the door open in 35 degree windy wheather. Despite asking 3 ppl if it was possible to close the door, it was not possible. The door could not be shut? The what appears to be the manager walked by and flipped a young waitresses hair and put his hand on the small of her back...very professional. The food...the pork tacos were disgusting and had to be sent back. Grilled cheese was burned and black. How can you not make a grilled cheese?! What shame.

Went on an evening where there was a major event in the downtown area so they were running on a limited menu. Apparently the rush they expected because of the event didnt happen because there were lots of open tables. The only area full was the rooftop. Anyway, decided to just have drinks and another couple joined us. At some point, Im not sure when or why, as none of us had tabs over 10 or 15 dollars, but they came and asked for a credit card even though we werent ready to leave. I complied and asked for another beer. After around 15 minutes no beer and no one brought my card back. Our server kept ignoring us so I waved down another. I asked for my beer and asked why my card wasnt returned. She apologized about the beer and ignored my request about the card. You can open a tab and run it on me without physically hanging on to my card, in this day and age of credit card and identity theft hanging on to my card really stresses me out. Finally got the beer, no explanation and a dirty look for daring to ask I guess. When myself and some of my companions were ready for another round we were pretty much ignored and waving someone down was just not happening. We finally settled up and left. I dont get the card policy but between that and the bad service when they werent busy just makes me pretty certain we wont be returning. By the way in case youre wondering myself and my companions are all well dressed, 40 somethings who clearly arent the type to go running out of an establishment without paying. I was the only male and all 3 women are very attractive and were well groomed and well dressed. No reason to fear us at all. Really not sure why this happened as Ive never encountered treatment like this in lots of travels. I wont say dont go here but if youre looking to be paid attention to and treated like you matter, or even having your server stop by every five or ten minutes or so to check on you, you may want to try somewhere else. This place just really left a bad taste in my mouth.

A rooftop deck with a bar, food, right in the middle of Downtown Sycamore in easy access to parks, museums and the movie theater? Awesome!And indeed it is. Its a sports bar, for sure, but it doesnt carry that vibe. It carries more of the vibe of a gathering place, a place for friends old and new to come, share a meal and catch up with each other.The appetizers here are great; I had the chips and salsa and they were very fresh, very good. The burgers are cooked right to order (another member of my party had one), and are very good. Drink service is fast and staff is attentive.Prices are common for any sports bar type atmosphere; I would put it in the affordable range as our check for three people came out to a little under $30 and that included beer and food.Be aware that when Sycamore is hosting big events, like Cruise Night or the car show, and Pumpkin Fest, they use a limited menu instead of their full one. This is great because it enables staff and guests to be served quickly and efficiently, and trust me, having had both, both menus are equally as good and many have said that their limited menu isnt just quick and easy stuff to cook, but its the most popular dishes, so dont be afraid if you get their limited menu.Big props for having FC Bayern München on their TV. Its rare to go to a place that willfully shows Bundesliga Football action. (Thank you)
