I played the par 3 executive course and it is in pristine condition. The greens were fast and well maintained. On a rainy November afternoon I saw several groundskeepers out maintaining the course. One of the best par threes around. And for only 14 dollars! I will definitely be coming back to this course as often as I can.
Played in a tournament there Aug 8. greens are very well cut and true. fairways are in good condition. Course layout is nice with some challenging holes and a par 3 over the water. Swansea is one of the better courses to play in the area. I will be going back with my friends.
Such a nice place great 9 hole par 3 for practice and beautiful 18 hole layout with practice facility and pool membership in summer!!!
Had a tee time this Sunday 9/27/20 at 1pm, received a call from rob stating weve got a tournament so we are bumping you off the course. awesome customer service and great way to make a first impression. D level public course, who does that.
Play in a league and play there as a single. The course is always in good condition.Fair ways usually are in great shape even if it rains. Drought this year was tough on all fairway on all courses this year.
Wow course was in best shape Ive seen here Especially this late in season, props to Robb and crew at Swansea
Normally in good shape, have played here many times throughout the years. Course is in terrible shape right now, tee boxes are terrible, fairways are burnt and cracked, little to no rough. Bunkers were ok at best... Greens were in good shape as this is usually the test at this golf course.
Course is kept up nice and generally a good crowd of fellow golfers. Decent prices too . never too long of a wait. One minor complaint is that the cart had a few food wrappers that were left behind and I saw another golfer smoking on the course.
The staff welcoming. We had call ahead tee time and we actually went out 10 minutes early. Considering the lack of rain course was fair to good.
Very nice course greens were Perfect staff and starter were very FriendlyCGolf course is in DESPERATE NEED OF A RANGER Wow The people in front of us were a disaster no golf etiquette if there was a Ranger out there this would’ve been taken care of ️
The pool area is great. Staff are really nice, too.
Best public golf course in the area. Course is in very good condition.
A very challenging course that has some holes that can score well! Water comes into play on 6 holes, which has 5 sets of tees which plays as much as 6845 yards from the back tees!! Theres also a par 3 executive course to work on your short game!!
Great courses. The championship course is the best. Clean, nice staff, and great course
The Executive par 9 is always in fantastic condition.
Great course, little pricey
Robb, the general manager is so accommodating and helpful. Ive had the opportunity to work with him on a few events and the events have run smoothly. His expertise for tournaments is invaluable. Now with the pool area opening, they are certainly encompassing the whole idea of a country club. Cheryl within the club house is a pleasure as well.Thank you for bringing a family atmosphere to the area of Swansea.
Great course and always in great condition!
Played 18 great course to, excellent condition staff very helpful and accommodating. Tough to get a tee time at this course. Also their putting g in a new pool area with 3 different pools and all the accommodation. I recommend this place highly.
Love this place! Just wish there was a gate separating the splash pad from the pool for the little ones. But overall its clean and the staff is great!!
One of the best public walkable golf course in the East Bay area. Course always in good shape and enjoyable. But after playing it for over a decade I gotta say: please hire more counterstaff in the restaurant/check-in area. Those kind folks are often overwhelmed with bar/food/check-ins. Not worthy of such a classy course.
Greta course for the money. Great course anyways ..
Course was in great condition.
Great course!
Played the very nice par 3 course which is in great condition!
The Swansea Country Club is a real Golf Course. The fairways R thick and cut short, the rough can be trees, roots, and a real penalty. There are several holes worthy of the pro tour at this course, unfortunately there are few holes with power lines that cut across the Fairway. Naturally they have a clubhouse and a bar and serve some food but its really not the highlight of this golf course. If you want to challenging course but also enjoyable try this 18-hole course.
Course was beautiful, but if your doing a fundraiser here be careful as the manager Robb is extremely rude and will have you paying for people even if they do not show! I would not recommend doing your event here! He also changes event information without informing the host !
Dont play on the weekend. They book front and back 9 tee times so you make the turn and run Into 2 groups of people waiting to tee off and the woman who works there tells you after playing 9 you dont have the right to play ahead of the other groups because they have a tee time. Trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the place and slowing the whole course down. Took 1 hr 40 minutes for 9 holes and 35 minutes to play 1 hole after making the turn. NEVER playing here again on the weekend.
Awesome club for a tournament, course is great, staff is very courteous and helpful
Beautiful greens.great coarse. Friendly and helpful staff
Great place to hold an fundraiser
Nice place to golf. I usually do the par3 course and rent a golf cart. I think it is pretty reasonable and never had a problem
Played yesterday and the course is in fantastic shape! Greens rolled fast and true and fairways are immaculate. Cant wait to get back there again.
Good food, good drinks, bring friends. A great course.
I have golfed there every week in season. People are extremely nice, they take extraordinary care of the course, and are reasonably priced. Can NOT complain about anything.
Have been out a few times this year and the course is surprisingly in good shape - considering our wet winter. Looking forward to all the new exciting upgrades for 2018 - they will continue to be one of the best public course in the area - the all grass driving range is certainly a plus
Too expensive for the amount of play it gets. 5+ hr rounds. They dont let carts out, for 18, after 2pm, so that the rangers can leave. Nice layout, too bad all the powerlines run through it.
Public course that gets alot of play. Fairways and greens are well maintained. Can get bogged down even on weekdays. Staff is friendly.
Nice Golf course, greens on good shape and drains well!
The course is not in very good shape. Some of the fairways are terrible dried out and ruts all over. The greens roll ok but there are dead spots all over from ball marks.
One of the best condition public courses in Southern New England. Food and beverages are priced right and the staff is friendly and fun. Great course!
Very well run. The greens are fantastic. Guaranteed to have a good time playing golf try it you will like it
Raining...tournament cancelled...sat and played the 19th hole and watched golf..great Afternoon
Course was remarkably in shape given the leaves. The bar was very busy with only one tender,, He was very patient. Id recommend more help inside
Good shape considering its the end of March.
Excellent Food Reasonable prices
Great place great people!
Nicest golf course in the area
I had heard this was a terrific place to play the executive course, and it was beyond what I had anticipated. Looking forward to playing there many more times. Everyone very accomodating. 19th hole also fantastic
This is a great public course. Layout is very good and the conditions over the past few years have been great. They have added some food items to the menu and I find the food very good. I recomend the stuffies, chicken quesadillas and chicken salad sandwich. Cant beat an English muffin and egg sandwich in the morning. My favorite holes are the 2nd (par 5), 5th (par 4, hard dogleg right) and 18th (uphill par 4). Not an overly challenging course from the whites, put the blues definitely make the course harder. Highly recommend the course over other public courses in the area. I like it better than Segragansett, Middlebrook and even Mantuap (although those couple of holes along the water are great.) We should feel lucky that we have access to such a nice public course.
This is one of the best public courses you can play on the east bay
Great course and friendly people! Highly recommended.
Course is challenging and in great condition. People are friendly. Plenty of water and views to keep it interesting.
Excellent course and staff . Highly recommend a round of golf here .
Great course. 18 hole and 9 hole separate courses. Both competitive and well kept. Good all around experience.
Course is well kept, plenty of delightful wildlife, friendly and helpful staff.
Really nice par 3 course, can be a little strict with the rules. Generally nice people working there
Hard tees, hard greens, nice fairways and hole layout
Always in great shape
Its in great shape Fairways a great everything was worked out well little expensive but with the experience
One of the best public courses in New England. Gets a lot of play though. Be prepared to wait if you go during prime times
Great course. Some Tee Boxes need Better care
Challenging golf course. Very well maintained fairways and greens. Beautiful location.
Interesting layout, fast greens. Only downside is alot of power lines in play on back 9.
Course is in great shape for a public course.
Great food and nice selection
Nice place to play golf with friends
Par 3 course is a gem
Beautiful,well kept coarse.
Challenging course and well maintained!
Just good

I have not been there
Great course
Tough course
Best golf course around
