A must-see place it was quite beautiful no place like it come check out my pictures a helicopter went over my head while in the gorge

I love this place. On the hottest of days its 50° down in the chasm. I also wrote a great short story about the legend of Purgatory Chasm. I will send it to anybody who likes an adventure story. Just leave a comment.

Out of state parking is $20 even from RI. Some parking staff lady ticketed me the instant I was able to find the last parking spot way beyond the park area and of course I was going to pay but she assumed I wasnt and wrote me a ticket the instant I stepped out of the car. Im not going to pay for an overpriced ticket first then hope to find a spot afterwards. Also the hike is overrated. Its OK but for some reason is super popular with everyone from Mass. Youre better off hiking anywhere else in New England.

Have visted purgatory chasm many times and its always a great experience. The trail that leads through the rock formations is really cool, but wear shoes that grip well.

An excellent hike. Not a great spot for small children. Even with parents assisting their kids it seemed like a struggle and really backed up other hikers trying to get through. Moderately challenging Im the chasm but the surrounding trails are very easy and these parts are perfect for children

Had a great time as always, taking a hike. Everyone is friendly, even being socially responsible.

Beautiful place. Very out of the way, so you’d really want to go there to find it. Pleasant walk on paths and nice place for picnic, but the path to the falls is. Or for the feint of heart. It’s steep and extraordinarily rocky.

Great place, use caution not to let you ankle get stuck in purgatory!

Sad, its one of my favorite places to visit, but do to the quarantine some areas were close

Beautiful place need go back

Great to be in nature. Climbing rocks and seeing unusual formations was fun. Clean state area park. A must visit.

Chasm was great, visitors center was closed. Porta potty are kinda cold this time of year. Other than that, the Chasm was great.

Great place to take the family if you like hiking and climbing.
