Michaels in Surprise, AZ was a great experience especially since Christmas decorations were 50% off. Wonderful bargains today.

I went searching for pens... what i found was a lot more than that! Lol! I ended up finding the large shadowbox on sale and Ashley helped me locate them, carry them to the cashier - and when I forgot the pins she ran back and brought some to me! Amazing service Ashley! Thank you!

Love it! I love that they almost always have some sale going on. The employees are helpful, and their selection is extensive! All around good experiences there.

Nice store, aisles are too skinny for two people. Nice selection and seemed like pretty full stock except in the craft paints and deco art decor paints. No satin enamels or extreme sheen. Very helpful staff.

I love the manager and the staff at this Michael’s. I am not one to walk into a store to be looking for things that I can care less about. When I end up in this place I usually go in for what I need and get out. The manager and staff are good at making sure that I get what I need as quick as possible and check me out as soon as possible. The only time I like taking my time here is during Christmas time, the manager was very kind enough to sell me the display since they no longer had anymore of the Christmas villages is in stock. Not only that but the manager also sold me the display set up and was kind enough to help me tear it down and put it in boxes for me. this is definitely my go to store for Christmas time thank you for your help.

I found what I wanted but it wasnt easy. The store is still clean but a little disorganized. I didnt have many choices but I settled on one option. The positive was the sale, I received 50% off and didnt know ot was on sale.

They have a lot of DIY stuff selections to choose from. Prices are fair.

Placing a custom framing order in this store is always a pleasure. Today was no exception. We worked with Brian, (or is it Bryan) and he was very helpful. The one and only cashier spent too much time trying to get everyone signed up for emails. Very sweet young lady but I get what I want or need and get out. Thats how I shop. Dont Dilly Dally.

I love this store. It always has a slightly different selection of inventory to choose from depending on the season / time of year. But it always has the items needed most for people who are into crafts and such. High quality merchandise. Great selection. Good prices.

The place was packed...mask wearing evident, but not easy to stay socially distant.

They do not have a great selection of stamps or dies for card making. I hope they increase their sizix selection.

Wonderful crafters store @ great prices! They just have many stores which is a big plus! I dont order I went to the store and picked up great deals on their village buildings already on sale!

I just visited this store hoping for Curbside Service. I got frustrated with the whole thing & went inside (which I wanted to avoid) & there were at least 10 people in line, some with children, not social distancing. Where was Management???? Cashiers working with no masks, no gloves. What is wrong with you???? If your curbside person has to walk from the back of the store to the front of the store, they can walk 10 more steps to my car at the curb. If you’re going to advertise Curbside Service, make it user friendly. I’m 69 years old & want to avoid these fiascos of people being stupid about this virus.

Went in for a friend who has a disability and needed something.... No idea where the stuff was that she needed. Asked up front if anybody could help me. One of the employees, who unfortunately I didnt get her name, said shed help me and she didnt just tell me what aisle it was in. She took me there.The store had great sales going on so a lot of stuff was sold out...... but I left with everything I came for. Great service.

Half of the store is Christmas stuff. Half. It is a little bit overkill and results in less options for other crafts and hobbies. The only things Michaels has going for it over the competition is being open Sunday and accepting all people.

Christmas shopping n craft ideas. Always find something great. Love going there to find my next idea to make. Have alot of discounts as well.

Everything I need for crafting

Awesome hobby shop, found all the needed items for my project and my wifes project. Store is neat and well organized. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

They have so many crafty options, which is amazing. Its a little disorganized in the pen section and the line takes a bit to get through at times. But the pickup option is very helpful!

Micaels always have nice people with customer service.

Expensive, a total mess. Can get a lot of the same stuff at Walmart for way less. This store is a disaster. Most the shelter empty, there is graffiti in some of the aisles. Not a lot of stock. Highly unorganized. Definitely needs a new manager and more help to get the store back up to a decent level of service and product.

Got some really good Christmas decorations on sale. Added beautiful decor to my home for the holidays.

Bought egyptian curtain on Amazon, not knowing couldnt hang it on my drapery pull cord set up. So I did a MaGuiver&stopped@Michaels in Suprise. They had all sorts of dohickeys&thingamagigs. Went back to my condo&modified curtain&drapery closer. Project is succeeding Suprise ha ha, thx Michaels for havin the right nicknacks.

Love their stuff, great selection. Silk flowers are a bit pricey for cemetery but they are beautiful. Cashier kept double scanning everything, then forgot to charge for some of the items.

The employee in the framing department was not only UNFRIENDLY but rude too.

I had stop in thinking it’d be quick, grab what I needed and check out. Well I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for and there was no one in the store other then the two cashiers in the front with a long line. I gave up on looking for that one item and went to check out. While waiting in line gals that were behind me were complaining because there was no one around to help them find the item they were looking for! What I thought was going to be a quick 20 minute trip turned into a 45 minute trip. They need more employees!!

My visit to Michaels found that there was everything under the sun except for what I needed. Currently I am restoring yard art. And several companies have made acrylic paint available in small amounts in their sets. I didnt find any of those available at Michaels. You can buy small bottles of acrylic paint, but apparently not sets of acrylic paint.

Lots of crafts to keep one busy .

This is a smaller Michaels with limited selections. They remodeled so the store looks and is pretty clean. My opinion,is they just cater to what seems to sell the best for the store. If your looking for a better variety head to Arrowhead. Hobby Lobby.

Im obsessed with any Michaels location (I do love some of the home decor items at H.L., but theyre super overpriced & I dont agree with their politics) but I can max my card out at Michaels anytime. The store in Surprise is always clean & well stocked. Their employees are also very kind & helpful - if you want. They dont hover over you trying to help, which is nice. Places that do that make me feel micromanaged. So this is definitely one of my favorite Michaels in the valley!
