This is a very unique and well-developed program, not just in the pool, but out of it as well. The coaches are more than qualified, and strive not only to produce top-performing athletes, but well-rounded and capable young adults as well. This team is absolutely worth your time.
Great swimming program that places emphasis on developing athletes both physically and mentally with the goal of creating well rounded and functional adults. Training methods are innovative and well informed. Amazing program!
Elevation Athletics (EA) was created to improve the quality of how athletes train, compete and live their lives. This type of approach was sorely lacking in the northern Denver metro area. EA is a new team that started in September 2019. In the first month EA had over 100 swimmers join the team. These are swimmers that felt their club team was failing them. They came to EA to thrive.EA sent 8 swimmers to 2018 Winter JR Nationals. Five of the 8 did not have Winter JR National times until joining EA. EA placed 49th out of over 200 teams in the US, with only 8 swimmers. EA is sending 48 swimmers to Speedo Sectionals at the end of March 2019. These are swimmers who have actual cuts and not just swimming relays. The majority of these swimmers did not have sectional times prior to joining EA. It was the EA coaches who took the time to understand each swimmer and provide both developmental and emotional support. Swimmers thrive when they come to EA.EA coaches come with tremendous experience and continue to research new techniques to keep swimmers motivated. EA coaching staff consists of coaches who have coached at Division I colleges and at the National level. The coaches have access to a fabulous network allowing EA to obtain the latest training techniques and assist swimmers who want to continue swimming in college.Yes, there are teams in the northern Denver metro area who will claim EA “stole” their swimmers. If you ask the families who left their club to join EA, they will tell you their children are in a positive and supportive enviroment. This was not the case at their prior club team.
Not exactly a stand-up group of coaches / admins. From the Western Zone Board of Review:DecisionBased upon the aforementioned findings of fact and the entire record in this matter, the Western Zone Board of Review Panel finds UNANIMOUSLY that Petitioners (Flatirons Athletic Club, Front Range Barracudas, and RallySport Athletics) met its burden of proof—a preponderance of the evidence: more likely than not—that Respondents (Stefanksi, Holicky, Brophy, and Sullivan of Elevation Athletics) violated Article 304.3.13 of the Code of Conduct in the current USA Swimming Rules and Regulations. Therefore, it is the UNANIMOUS decision of the Western Zone Board of Review Panel that• each swimmer who transferred from Petitioners’ clubs (Flatirons Athletic Club, Front Range Barracudas, and RallySport Athletics) to Respondents’ club (Elevation Athletics) CANNOT ATTACH to Elevation Athletics for 240 DAYS from the date of their last competition with one of Petitioners’ clubs;• Respondents are hereby PROHIBITED from hosting a USA-Swimming-sanctioned meet within the Colorado LSC for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of this Decision; and• Respondents shall hereby VACATE any sanction to host a USA-Swimming meet within the Colorado LSC if the date of that meet falls within ONE (1) YEAR of the date of this Decision.
