The place is very good, the music is excellent, the food and the drinks are delicious ... the downside is that people are allowed to smoke inside both locations

Great place to have a good time dancing. Everyone share their interest to dance. People behave respectfully and friendly. Also staff very professionals. I felt secure and confortable inside the club and in the parking area.

But the DJ needs to improve the technique, he passes from one song to another with long and rare transitions, too much old music, he also needs to put more salsa, I asked him to play Gilberto Santa Rosas music but he didnt play it. :(

The place does need a facelift on the inside but the music was good and the food was also good. Would definitely go again.

I decided to visit Congas yesterday despite all the bad reviews. The place is decent not crowded at all. The food is also decent it just needs a bit more seasoning. The drinks are good. It was tropical night so the music was nice. The bathroom needs major remodeling and a new air fresher. The bathroom smells like dirty water. The staff is kind and the service was fast. The only thing I really disliked was that the waiter (Jesus) automatically charged us an 18% gratuity fee even though there was 3 of us. I didnt say anything because I usually tip 20% but I was turned off. Overall, its not a horrible place to go to. The food, drinks, and staff are decent.

Firts time I was there on Saturday night, nice place the only think didnt liked people smoke cigarettes and all the place, other thing they didnt play Cumbia music only 2 o 3 songs. But not bad. Probably Im going back again.

Awesome place. Good variety of music, its more of a club scene so if youre a social salsa, bachata dancer etc. It might be hard to find someone whos just there to dance. Smoking is allowed in there, drinks are fairly priced. Plenty of parking and security is top notch. Atleast 2-3 outside and a few inside. Cops are also in front of the establishment. Felt safe, had fun and didnt burn a whole through my wallet. Great place

My girlfriend and I Got totally drunk off 1 whiskey each. When we questioned the legitimacy of the whiskey he wouldnt let us see the bottle and was determined to tell us it was the upscale whiskey..As soon as i grabbed the manager and headed that way, he emptied the bottle and threw it in garbage..We could drink our particular brand all night and not get drunk!! Beware of them filling bottles with cheaper liquor...otherwise music was good, food was good and great mixture of age..

This nightclub is by far the worst one I have every been to. To being with the security guard was harassing all the customers to buy food and drinks and then threatening to kick people out if they didnt spend more money. I wouldnt even call it a nightclub. There was at most 25 people there on a Friday night at 2AM when it should have been packed. There were 4 of us and we all ordered the same thing (5 rum&cokes) each. They served us all the weakest drinks, in the smallest cups possible. It was basically 90% ice cubes filled to the brim. But that wasnt the worst part. The worst part was that we were told that all drinks were half off until midnight. We were all shocked when the bill came out to $267!!! That comes out to over $13 for the tiniest weakest drinks you can imagine. Im talking two sips and its gone. Be warned. This place highway robbery where they like to harass the customers. I will never go back.

The place has potential. It needs more promotion and a remodel. They owner was super nice and the staff was extremely nice as well. I didnt have food but the drinks were good.

Marvelous Night! Excellent Music

Management and security are clueless! The big gorilla security guy has issues......big control freak!! They have no idea of how to run a nightclub! Completely disorganized and none of them know what the other is doing. The owners are money hungry! If you are woman beware, this place is run by controlling men who believe that they are better than everyone else! All they want is your $$$. They also dont care for your safety.....you are expected to buy a $200. liquor bottle at 2:30am!! If you dont you will be kicked out and escorted out by the police!! Even though, we ( my friend and I) paid to be in the VIP area and were waiting for a group of friends to share the expense of the bottle and to help us drink it. They dont listen and do whatever they want!! Ridiculous!! Find another place there are plenty around!!

The night club has a mixed crowd music and sound system was very good. We got a table and decided to have dinner the service was good.

I have been to this place 2xs and the experience has been great. They were welcoming as if they knew me. The food was great the music just right. Not like those places where your ears ring afterwards. The staff were friendly.

This was my favorite place, but new ownership increased prices and the quality of drinks is awful and bad service. New owner is an indian guy who doesnt know how to run a latin night club and treat its customers!

BEWARE! HOUSE SPECIAL Drink Ron Rico & pay for Bacardi. We ordered our second drink of the night & Husband saw bartender pouring from a Ron Rico bottle when we had ordered Bacardi when my husband told him if he could make are drinks again but this time with Bacardi the bartender got rude & told my husband that he did, my husband told him that he saw where he put the bottle & he pointed at it & thats when the bartender went to grab the Bacardi bottle which was 6 bottles next to the Ron Rico bottle. Never going back.

There are four things you need to know about this bar.1. Youll be greeted by security guard who will subject you to an enthusiastic pat down. The thoroughness of the pat down will make you nostalgic of the time you spent at Rikers island. And also it means people bring weapons to this club.2. You will be charged $12. The amount, outrageous even by fort Lauderdale standards, contrasts nicely with the earlier pat down and the general lack of maintenance of the place.3. If you decide to visit the bathroom, you will see a security guard in front of the bathroom. I know it supposed to be reassuring, but it just tells you that people fight in the bathrooms as well. Or maybe someone tried to keister stash shank before. Points for another prison reference???4. Even though, Fridays are salsa nights, the DJ treats that as a recommendation. Expect a lot of reghaetton. Which, of course complements the pat down and goes a long way to create a unique ghetto ambiance.

Delicious Colombian empanadas good Whiskey and excellent music especially at melodías the DJ is a master on oldies from Colombia. I always have an excellent time I love dancing.

If you like to dance, have a few drinks snack on some empanadas and dance some more, this is it, always had a great time when I went, very friendly ppl, Danny my favorite bar tender of all times!

This place is going down hill...$10 cover charge to see bunch old grandmas inside and a few uncles.....sure this could be the place to go for retirees! And also 30% filled up.....pretty much empty .

The security tried to talk down to one of our girls and he messed with the wrong people. Security was horrible, he was on a power trip. We had just ordered a Patron bottle and securitys dumb ass had to act stupid with us. We ended up leaving because of the horrible service. Waisted the taxi money and lost our buzz. We were visiting from Tx and wanted to have a good time but was completely ruined by the security guard on a power trip! Absolutely disapointed. What a waste of time and money.

Great place, has a main dance floor for bachata, reagaton, and a viejoteca next to it. The staff was great. The music was ok, but could use more variety. We will definately go again.

Im really upset! There is a 300 pownd security guard who walked around the tables and steped on me....O.M.G. What a pain !!! the guy just turned around despreciately and said; oops.. Sorry...I didnt kik that guys but...because I could get in jail. I talked to the waitter...very nice and good looking lady...but she didnt know what to to but charge me for the drinks...I told her to talk to the manager about it...but this is not the onky time it happends. Las time the same stupid gorilla whent into the dancing floor and pushed people around. Some one please STOP HIM!!!!!!!!!! or just support me by not visitting that place!!!. Oh the music its another story. Both places ( Melodias and The bigger club) seems to compet of who can be the laudest...I ended up with my ears hurtting...and I just had a soda...and the mixing its just uncoordenate and off beat when changing from one style of music to another. Yeah both places. Furthermore, the prices..Skyrocket!!! Next time im going to Pembroke Pines... or somewhere else...or jist staying home...

Great music same people a lot of parties

I work as manager in a restaurant in tucson Arizona, my family and i came on vacation last week,we saw this place that plays salsa but we were very dissapointed and ruin our friday evening, it was Overpriced, waitresses act like they are doing us a favor by giving us service, and lazy, the place was very cold, on top they add the gratuity automatically that never deserved it, which i will fight with my credit card company, bottom point i will not come back to this place again and encourage to any of my friends not to go to this place either.!!
