Perfect little hiding from urban chaos. What I like is that its a good mix of activities for family. Youve got slides/swings and big grass area for sports/pets. Also, tennis and basketball courts are a nice touch.Although it gets a crowded on a summer evening but I guess thats Bay area. Even with all that crowd, Ive seen most of the them are responsible and clean after themselves.

This is a really nice park! Its clean and well maintained. My toddler loved the playground.

Great neighborhood park + open space, with trails for walkers (and their canine companion), picnic tables, benches, and a great little playground. Big grassy fields to run around for the little ones

Love it. I can let my dog off the leash. Lots of dogs. And everyone is responsible and picks up the waste.

Great western themed spacious park with a baseball diamond, jogging track, playground and tennis and basketball courts. The city needs more spaces like this.

Beautiful park! I’ve so many memories from it. Even though it has a small playground and a small amount of picnic tables, it’s nature is fantastic!! Love it.

Ponderosa park is a great place to relax or take ur pets for a walk there there is a great bbq area to entertain families and friends places for the kids to go run and play and if your into baseball and or Frisbee there is a great field there

My favourite park it has everything, area to play for kids, for basket for football, clean bathroom and its open to the puplic but not the barbecue area, easy parking lot, so big park .

Fantastic and well maintained park. Plenty of space for sports and games even a cook out area for families. Though I have never used the cooking area it seems well equipped for your average BBQ. Great park for a picnic plenty of well lit sunny areas and dogs if you like that. If you dont like dogs, owners seemed to be fairly responsible and considerate of other park goers and keep to them selves.

Only had a short stop there but it looked nice and clean.

It is a good park for kids to play and run around. The playground is big and has few parts for kids of different ages.There is a plenty is sand to play with too.The grass field is big and there are walking paths too.Parking onsite an on the streets nearby is enough.

Very nice park with a kids playground, a very nice field for baseball, soccer, and more. The trees and the barbecues are making it a very enjoyable park. The school nearby also had to the charm :)

Very peaceful in the early hours before the children arrive. Bathrooms are bright and clean. The squirrels happily greet you!

Great place to go with family. Good picnic spot. Summer is the best time to chill at this place or even fr taking a walk.

Amazing park! We are lucky to live nearby. Its pretty large park near Ponderosa school, with decent kids playground, multiple grilling areas and tables, tennis and basketball courts, large field for soccer or what not, even bocce ball court. Whats important is that it has a lot of mature trees so you would really love to come here in hot summer days.

Nice place to hang out, play soccer or tennis on the public courts. Lots of bbq groups on sunny weekends.

This a pretty great park. Very big a lots of things to do.

Very nice park with some pretty challenging obsticles. They are currently working on one section, so it is fenced off, however, the rest is very nice. It is large with plenty of running room. It can get crowded in the evenings. I dont really like that below all the structures is sand. Sigh...but okay. In addition the parking is a decent walk from the structures. However, there is plenty of street parking that is closer. There are plenty of large trees so nice shade over the play ground. I wish there were more benches for the parents to sit at. It is near a school, so dont come here during pick up or drop off times. Overall a good park that we have been back to many times and will go again.

Park is big and has play area for kids. It also has a hall you can book for event. Parking is small but you can find street parking easily.

Very big park and good walking space. Limited parking. There are two tennis courts and one basketball court available for use. Right next to the Ponderosa elementary school.

Spacious park with lots of space and room for activities. Ive played on a soccer league here and they have playgrounds for kids and BBQ areas. Parking is limited at the parking lot, but theres usually plenty of street parking all around

Such a pleasant park for a quick stroll or family gathering...clean restrooms and has a Hall for special occasions....

Construction going on,park is split in half and barely any progress being made.Just abrupt closure,made it unusable for walks etc.Ruined it for locals,school split the playground in half and now its not good for walks even.Shame on those part of this decision,not sure what they were thinking.

We came here a lot when I was a kid for family barbecues and as children to play on the playground. Its a nice fairly popular, family friendly park that seems to be well kept and doesnt attract a rowdy crowd.

4.24 Nornally a great little park, half o the play area is currently circled by chained link fence for apparent reconstructions. Only slide and swing are is available.

This is one of my favorite parks for children: A big playground with sand and swings, picnic area, soccer or baseball area for the little ones. Also there is tennis and basket court. There is a good shadow during the whole day.

Love the Tennis court here. If you come at 5, the court is empty and well maintained ! Very friendly neighborhood as well.

The two tennis courts were finally resurfaced and completed on 6/8/2018! See the photos of new courts. They are beautiful! The colors are vivid green and blue! Shortly afterward, Ponderosa Park Tennis Group was formed! We meet on weekdays at 9am.

Very nice park but the basketball hoop there is wack. The rim is stiff as hell and its a weird chain basket so the ball gets stuck sometimes after you make a shot. But other than that its a nice park.

The parking space is quite limited inside the park, so one has to resort to roadside parking. The picnic area was clean and nicely kept. Its a good, decent place for a gathering of 20-30 people.
