I love this place but i really wish people would stop leaving trash, it ends up in the water and is harmful to nature. In my honest opinion I feel like a little more care into this place (from city workers and visitors alike) would make it even better, but I am very grateful to be able to go to this spot. Theres also a huge historical tree that is gated around the perimeter to protect it from foot traffic, which is awesome

A very peaceful place with a nice lake setting featuring a water fountain. Wish there were benches and tables here (there are a few benches around the perimeter of the lake), but otherwise I find this to be a nice place to relax.

Excellent community center, large and beautiful walkways. Todays problem Covid19 = everythinh was closed

This is a great place to meet for a picnic with friends. Bring a nice thick picnic blanket because there are a lot of geese.

Great park for a nice brisky walk around the lake. So many ducks and this place is so greenery. This center offers offers lot of activities and the building is so nice. But sometimes the lake smells :-(

My lizard loves basking on the rocks here and people watching. I bring him often on warm, sunny days. I like the peaceful atmosphere and listening to the water and birds. Every so often you can spot turtles in the pond, too. Just watch out for goose poop!

Cute place, found it on maps. but the blue water is kinda weird

Its a nice place with a lot of the Parks and Rec classes. I like the setup, but really dont enjoy the blue colored smelly water in the lake there. We have been to many events at this location and have really enjoyed ourselves each time. The community plays are nice and since its within walking distance of our house, we can enjoy the entire experience. We will continue to visit this location and enjoy it for some time to come.

Everything is closed but the geese still hang out. Nice place for a picnic and the rock rivers by the Theater provide some whimsy. Keep an eye out for the farm and when theyve got apricots for sale.

Thumbs up if you agree Sunnyvale Community Center is a breath of fresh air! They installed beautiful fountains and a miniature lake-type body of water which makes the area aesthetically pleasing. There is plenty of parking, which makes coming here a breeze. There are over a hundred classes over here for kids and adults.

A very beautiful landscape makes an appealing afternoon walk with plenty of people to say hi to.

My family enjoys walking around the grounds of the Sunnyvale Community Center. There is a small pond with a fountain, an apricot orchard, and even a museum on Community Centers grounds.

This is a really nice community Center. Its consists of several large buildings. There is a large indoor sports center, a theatre and dance auditorium. A large senior center as well. They still have a working orchard on the back side of the property. Nice water feature at the main entrance. Apparently a few buildings can be rented for private parties and events.

Beautiful facilities. Graciously extended the use of multiple large rooms for our job training classes. Well appointed, good sized rooms; clean bathrooms; and a nicely landscaped, peaceful location.

Lovely and lively place to hangout... Nice to watch the ducks swim, the oak trees, and most important, fresh air to breathe.

Great place to hang out, it has a nice kids park, and a community center with a small lake with lots of duck in it. It is just a little dirty because of all the duck poop. It is very serene, and great place for a walk and see the fall colors in November :)

This is a wonderful community Center with lots of bright light, space, and good acoustics.

I did an open hour for the pottery studio and it was great ! I have clay for at least the next 4 sessions & the community was helpful.However if your have a timeline I wouldn’t recommend it since e only do the kiln every month or so ?

Good place for walking and running. Has indoor stadium for playing volleyball, badminton and basketball. Fun place.

Fabulous! I played Bridge there. People were very Co operative & welcomed me. Also was invited to attend next sessions & events. They have beautiful landscape & rooms to hold various games, activities, seminars, art & culture exhibits etc.

What an awesome place to be....pond full of ducks and surrounded lush greenery and many indoor activity zones including badminton and basketball. But my favourite is fall photo shoot.

Nice little stroll around

The center is very well maintained. I like the arboretum and the fountains especially are a break from the urban landscape. The pathways are well kept except for the menacing ducks who keep excreting wild hoochies on the way. I havent had the misfortune to step on a big one but it certainly can be improved.

Great place for a family evening out...

Nice place to take a walk around in the evenings. Not sure why, but this place is quite a bit calming, possibly because of the water and the fountain.Having said that, you need to be careful...there is bird poop everywhere. You need to watch where you step!

Olsens Farm.... what a beautiful place. There is a museum, chickens, park, ect. The old vehicles, produce boxes, tools, is a wonderful reminder of how it used to be done.....with care, honestly, and love for farming. The fruit is like none other, so fresh and full of flavor. Thank you so much for the wonderful produce I have eaten my ENTIRE life

Not really a park for kids since it doesnt have playground for the kids and doesnt have a wide open field for any sporting purposes. It does have a large pond but there are tons of geese and duck, which means there are tons of animal feces. So walk carefully.There is also a community theater and art center. Though I havent had the chance to watch any shows yet. Oh, there are young ducklings about, so that was cute.

I love the park here. There are many wild birds :D

Very nice place! I liked everything I saw, but you have to watch your step! Especially near the pond! Tons of bird droppings everywhere.

Very nice and clean. There is a gym, and lots of classes such as dance, pottery, etc. Lots of books to check out without checking, an honor system. Bridge, Ma Jong games. Also serve s lunches.

The layout of the buildings is interesting but there are plenty of signs and its an easy walk between buildings.

Great place to go and place badminton. The arrangement for the courts is very nice. They have volleyball, badminton and basketball in the rec centre. Lots of other buildings too in the center. Must go for a recreational time.

Several buildings for activities, a rather large pond and fountain with a walkway around it. Plenty of parking. Water seems tinted blue, and saw a fair amount of goose waste in one area. All in all, a pleasant quiet walk on a weekday evening.

I went to watch a play here. The theatre was medium size and good enough for plays and performances. The community center is good with huge garden and fountains. Theres ample parking too.

Sunnyvale Community Center - the home to my ceramic work for about a year. A great, friendly, helpful community. With lots of wheels, and frequent kiln firings. Highly recommend working here.

There are three volleyball courts, set up at a decent height. The only problem is that the floors are dusty and slippery.

Good place to walk around in the evening, as long as you as you are ok with a lot of goose and goose s*** lying around. Water in the pool looked filthly and abnormally blue. But, has enough centers for activities including a theater, library, gymnasium, activity center and a sports center.

Great place to hangout and for photography. It does have a sport center but it is currently closed.

Nice place,but pond water always green with ducks excrement .You can surround the pond road, but need to pay attention to your feet may have duck excrement. Not many trees,you can enjoy the sun and breeze.

Peaceful and quiet. Needs volunteers to help clean up the goose and duck droppings around the pond and could use a few more benches. Nicely done.

They have lot of sports options. Although it would have been nice if they kept a membership or some facility to allow people to come in regularly.Overall the court is good, and well ventilated. So it is good experience. 5$ for badminton for 2 hours.

Bay Area Childrens Theatre plays here. We love attending their plays.

I came here for a play, The Wiz, and this is a beautiful though older complex. The theatre is not accessible past the back row but the way the rows are staggered makes it so every seats has a good view.

Beautiful lake and structures. Watch out for the plentiful duck feces in the grass and roads, however.

Came for badminton. Nice, cheap and good mix of player skill levels

We go every year to the Sunnyvale community centers Christmas tea, and every year it is delicious, absolutely beautiful, and a delight. Thank you so much for holding it! Its become part of my Christmas tradition now.

Sunnyvale Heritage Park Museum - Fabulous museum to visit!

The community center is a great place for activities. You can do a class like dancing, painting, pottering aso. Music together is located there. It is always fun for the kids and not so expensive. Sometimes the womans in the office arent very friendly.

Nice center with lots of activities and planned classes for all age group. There is a senior center as well with gym and group activities.

It is what a community center should be like. It does bring the community together. We enjoy the theater as well as activities. No problem with parking so far, may need to walk a little.
