Beautiful atmosphere and the food was incredible.

The steakhouse is a hidden gem. Always great food. Their steaks melt like butter when you eat them. The lobster tails are really good too! When we eat here, the staff is always great and on point. The prices are about average for a good steak house. The ambiance is very nice as well.

This casino is super clean and has a vast amount of different machines to choose from. However the only reason I didnt give give stars is because they dont pay. So spend your money in the restaurant instead.

The steakhouse is amazing! The food was well beyond 5 stars. I got the filet mignon with kind crab legs and escargot. Really really great place. Highly recommended.

Was invited to the Steakhouse. I had the French Onion Soup and Fried Artichoke Hearts. Both were amazing. Highly recommended.

Love going to Hobeys. Great Casino and the restaurant has very good food at a great price. Dont miss Hobeys when in Reno.

Breakfast menu is kinda small. Not sure if due to current pandemic or not. But food is alright. Had the chicken fried steak with eggs and toast. Also added a side of bisquits and gravy. Total was less than $15.00 (drank only water). Service is always good. Staff are always friendly and personable.

This was a pretty cool place. Machines were spaced out so you didnt feel cramped, crowded but you couldnt really tell and it was kind of quiet. I did pretty well on the keno machines. They kept me going for a while and I walked away with money in my pocket.

Good chicken fried steak but I had to wash all my clothes when I got home because of the smokieness.

Loved it !!!! Went in with 40 bucks and left with 500. Thats what I call a good time. Thanks Hobeys . I needed that.

The food was really good last night. There was three of us and one had a cheeseburger, one had pot roast, and one had liver and onions.

IT WAS AWSOME WON 400 BUT GAVE IT ALL BACK LOL. THE STAFF THERE IS SUPER FRIENDLY

All I can say is wow! They really made this place awesome. We didnt even recognize it after all these years!

The food was terrible. Not only did they mess up every order at the table, but some of the food wasnt even fully cooked or fully ripe. The burgers were all overcooked, some of the bacon was undercooked, the BLT had a tomato that was not even fully cooked. The chicken for the kids meal was sour. This is not even to mention how terrible they are at maintaining social distancing. Not only did they separate our party into 2 groups but they put us nearly next to another group. I could take two steps and be at their table! Horrible and dangerous!

Hobeys is a great place to go if youre in the area. Usually not to busy, but has a good active flow going all the time. Food place is decent for flavor but can lag on service a bit. Overall a great little place to still get out and have fun.

My family and I used to LOVE the Hobeys coffee shop. The food was good, and the prices were pretty good too.Today, we tried to take my mom to breakfast since its her birthday. First off, my pancakes came with the eggs on top of them, so Im really glad I didnt get my eggs over easy. The pancake had a slight scrambled egg taste, but it wasnt unbearable due to the syrup and butter.But the thing that made them earn this one star, is the fact that I went to eat my eggs (after taking them off of my pancake, of course) and found a long beard hair in my food. We could see into the kitchen, and the chefs werent wearing hair nets at all.We all stopped eating immediately, and it completely ruined my moms birthday breakfast.The manager was kind enough to give us the meal for free, but Im nonetheless disgusted. If I could add pictures to this review, I would show the hair that I found.

This place sure has grown. Everyone here was friendly and the cocktail waitress was there for my order as soon as I sat down.

Normally I give 5☆for Hobeys but one must take the good with the bad. Today (5/17/2020) we ordered the cajun burger. We parked in #13. We were asked 4 times what our name was for our order and also asked who took our order?! At one point was told we are trying to find your food! We ended up leaving after 40 minutes without our food !

I come here as often as possible, I like to come late night after everyone has played they offer drawings, and the manager is very nice, hes a very good guy and I l8ve it here, odds are great!

Staff was friendly. Seemed like a locals casino. I was there for New years eve. They had a band that wasnt bad after a few adult beverages. I dont know how old the renovations are, but it looked a lot better and was more open and spacious than it use to be 10+ years ago. And not nearly as smokey.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries from the coffee shop, took 47 minutes for them to give me my order. Come to find Out it was sitting on the counter for 20 minutes. Cold fries and burnt burger. Really just wanted to throw it in the waiters face cause he was rude about it. Leason learned, will never step foot in that place again.

I like their Wednesday special in their coffee shop. Ive enjoyed it off & on since the late 1980s actually. The Country Fried Steak is great ... I also enjoyed their menu for Youngsters & Oldsters.

Food was good service was very good

The eggs are not very good but everything else was great nice place to come and eat especially after the holidays. Small but never too crowded. I got French toast and eggs with sausage. The French toast was very fluffy and moist.

The food here is really good and affordable. Wait staff are on top of things and I think I will most definitely be going back there soon. I would compare the food and service to Baldinis or Rail city casino which are 2 other smaller casinos in this area.

Very nice place. Food was great. Waiter was not very attentative though. Had to ask for water and coffee twice. He then sent another waiter to fill my coffee cup and then check to see if everything was okay.

I like Hobeys. Its pretty clean inside. The food is pretty good. Definitely a spot worth stepping into on a sports day. Dozens of TVs.. even one as big as a wall. Slots.. slots.. slots.. no tables?? I dont gamble often, but when I do I play Craps.. I didnt see a table...

Hobeys Steak House is Fabulous!!! Marco the Steak House Manager is very Personable and Professional. Ashley the Lead Waitress is very polite and skillful in serving the patrons. Her smile will melt you like butter. My Pan Seared Salmon topped with large Sprawns was a sight to behold! Very delicious!!! The Classical ambiance music made my dinner more enjoyable. Amazing dining experience for my wife and friend and me.

Being a local Chef since 1976 in Northern Nevada I have worked in several casinos fromLake Tahoe, Carson City and Reno. I can really appreciate good just like food they serve in Hobeys Casino. Fresh, hot, delicious and fast. I had the Chicken Fettuccine for dinner and it was almost embarrassing I almost caught myself licking the plate lol. Great job Chefs !!The service was also a Hallmark of AppreciationIll be BACK!!

The casino was ok and the bar deserves 4 stars. The restaurant had terrible costumer service. Also this is a hot spot for the elderly. The waiter/waitress took forever to get our order and even longer to bring it. I was getting full alone on the drink. Id return to the bar and perhaps gamble. The restaurant was a terrible experience tho

They make you wear a mask inside a building when theres no virus outside or inside the building. Rethink your options. Stand against Oppression!

This is definitely a strictly neighbor hood casino. The whole time I was there I felt uncomfortable. Took over an hour to see a waitress. The main reason for the 1 star is the restuarant when we went and ate. The food was just bad. It pains me to say that about any company. There was no way I would have even finished this mea. The waitress was sweet and before I could tell her if I enjoyed everything she was already running to get the supervisor. The supervisor was not listening to any of my conversation, to begin with. I explained the situation. She never said anything directly. The only thing positive was umm. The supervisor did comp me the meal.

The employees stole my giant bottle of hand sanitizer off the table after I was finished eating. Went back 10 minutes later and nobody could find it, they checked the cameras and said it wasnt clear. The food was greasy and disgusting too. I still tipped $6 on a $18 order despite that but now Im completely turned off to them.

Always a family type feel here. Food is always good. Never had any bad service. The bar area is good. Everyone should try the Steakhouse, its amazing!! My husband and I usually go for our Anniversary. Love it!!(:

What else can I say, EXCELLENT. The service, the meal and the company. I had the special of filet mignon and lobster tail with a side of mushrooms. Worth ever penny spent. Good for eats anytime, but great for that special occasion when youd like to impress your other half or significant other.
