Exception studio! My family had a blast making signs and memories all while having a great time. Sarah was and Excellent guide and made our time great! All of our signs turned out great and the drinks were also an added bonus! I would recommend this place for everyone!

Great place! It is pretty pricey, but I am glad I went. You get to do all the steps, from untreated lumber to a distressed end look. I went on free margarita night!

A gem in downtown Sun Prairie. Made a sign for our lake house and it turned out beautifully. Was fun to be able to go through the process myself, stencil, stain, screw in screws, so awesome! A great night of creativity, conversation and even had a cocktail, bonus!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Board and Brush Sun Prarie - it was a super fun environment and the staff was awesome! The music was great, the projects were amazing and I couldn’t believe how awesome the project selection was! I will be going back for sure!

Very structured, not much room for creativity. Some members of our party were strongly convinced to things to their projects that they did not want to do ... were assured that theyd like them, but did not. Projects were fixed but not with satisfaction. There were problems earlier in the day with a particular stain not doing well (due to humidity in the room - reason given), but when we cost those colors they did not bother to tell us.

Great experience. Went for a ladies night event. It was $65 a person. You choose your design ahead of time and they have everything ready for you when you get there. You are able to pick from a wide variety of designs/strains/pain colors/etc. There are tons of examples all over the walls to help you visualize what you want to do. The ladies working there were nice, helpful, and supportive of whatever you wanted to do to your board. It was a good, relaxed and fun atmosphere with music playing in the background.For those wondering about the process:First you start by sanding your boards to give it a rustic, weathered look. Next, they give you a few minutes and some tools (hammer/meat cleaver) so you can make the board look as weather as you want. They do provide earplugs for this which was awesome as it gets loud! After that, you choose the stain you want and apply the stain. After the stain dries, you may either apply a paint to the board with a couple different techniques, or leave it stained. Then they show you how to apply the stencils for your design. Again, you choose the colors you want the designs to be. Numerous colors of glitter were also provided for us to add on top of the paint which was amazing! You rip the stencils off, they spray a finishing layer if you used glitter, and youre done!They take pictures of you and your group with your finished pieces and you are sent on your way after 3 hours of hard work.Beverages were not included but they have them for sale for reasonable prices (we got 2 glasses of wine, 1 corona, and a coke for $20). They had a list of different beers and wines to choose from, as well as soda and bottled water. You pay for those at the end after you get your picture taken. Cards and cash accepted from what I saw.

This was my first time and it was a great experience. Eva was wonderful and very helpful. I would definitely do this again.

Awful experience! The instructor messed up my project, then wouldnt allow me to fix it. Instead, he would grab supplies from me and do whatever he wanted. He was extremely rude to me; kept asking what I didnt like and then would interrupt me instead of listening. He never bothered to ask if I had the skills or training to fix my own project (I do). My final project is sloppy and unprofessional because of the instructors fixes. Im so disappointed.

We brought our Girl Scout Troop for a workshop and they loved it! Such a fun activity and the instruction given was very well done.

I held a team building event here, the service we received was exceptional. I would highly recommend going here for any type of event.
