The center is a pretty cool place to come enjoy a swim the only down side is.. they make you pay full price even as a spectator watching your children claiming its due to the extra person taking up space also but this happens even when there is jus 20 or less people swiming and 97% of the chairs are empty ... I get what you are doing but if theirs space it shouldnt be an issue or they should issue a spectator/PARENTS fee of half the price since we are ONLY using half the facility which is chairs and buying food...
Its fun for my kids...when it is open. Its frustrating for me when I pay $120 for a family pass and they close early due to low attendance. We have tried to go 3 days in a row now and they have been closed for 3 different reasons. Weather is one thing but LOW ATTENDANCE. It is disappointing. Next year we will be taking ourselves elsewhere, even if it does cost more.
Surface ice is too thick and I hurt my back diving in. Would not recommend.
It super fun an I really like it
This place has some really nice infrastructure and potential, but a set of stupid and illogical rules ruin the fun for everyone...First off: no floaties whatsoever... Even the type thats accepted at every other pool in the state! Also, they have these fake rocks and jets coming out of the ground that kids love, but you cant go over them or break the stream with your foot, otherwise a lifeguard will tell you off.I always wondered why this place was never really busy considering how nice it looks compared to other pools, but now understand this is the type of place where they neither want your toddlers to have fun, or be safe with their floaties...
Got there and lady said open swim was closing at 430pm. She then said the next open swim hours are 6-8pm. As we were waiting for 6, I called staff back at 530 and the staff said there was no swim hours for the rest of the evening. So the staff from earlier totally made us wait for 1 hour and a half. All because she wasnt educated on their own hours.
I lost my glasses there and no body picked up the phone when I wanted to ask if any glasses were found. I have to go to a summer camp tomorrow and I can barely see. Also, the staff wouldnt let my little sister go on a slide. We were told by others that smaller ones could do a swimming test, yet my sister was not given one and couldnt go on the slide. Again my sister couldnt have a life jacket to go on the diving boards. Lastly, one of the things that drench you with water feels like rocks crashing onto you. It is very strong and I was left rubbing my back. Thanks for the terrible experience.
Im 11 years old and last time I went there I was ten. And it was so good that I remember every bit of it. I love that there are multiple things to do. And I especially love that I can do things with my little cousin who is only six.I love the speed slide and diving boards over by the 13/12.6 pool. And the long white slide will have you hooked and wanting to go over and over again. And it isnt just slides... you can free swim and go to the different little stations! I went with my Sis, Olivia and my two cousins Zach and Sophie and also our Grammy. We stayed for 5 hours! And its great for all ages! (Our ages then...5, 9, 10,13, and 67) I hope this review helped!(P.s. To go on the white slide you must be 46or acompanied by an adult if under size I believe.)
I go every year and I have fun each time
The hours are very short compared to Columbus which is a smaller community.
Wonderful place, different kinds of pools, beautiful, friendly and professional staff. Thank you.
Most of these reviews are complaining about known safety practices, or family friendly hours. The aquatic center doesnt allow toddlers to wear life jackets in the pool due to the fact that life jackets often cause toddlers to flap face down into the water and be unable to right themselves. And they close during lunch and dinner time because its a FAMILY aquatic center. They expect families to go eat at lunch and dinner time as a family. Though I will say the lifeguards do, at times, pay more attention to safety violations, rather than safety itself. And thats coming from a friend of some of the lifeguards. Hence only 4 stars. Other than that, they have a nice season patch system. Sew it to a bathing suit or swim trunks, and you get in for free all season.
Fun cool I love the water slides
Great community pool with a slide.
Kids love it!
