Lakeview Recreation Center

Beautiful! This is one of right recreation centers in Sun City. They are for Sun City residents and their guests, only. I happen to live here, hence, that was why I had gone there. Extremely pretty!

Nice roomy pool. Everyone is very friendly. Nice to get out and socialize again.

Using your sun city recreation pass you can check out the paddle board, each boat seats four and comes with life jackets. The lake is man-made and offers nice views of the water and palm trees with a few fountains. Its not too large, you can paddle around in under a half an hour, seeing the houses along the lake and a few types of birds (coots, ducks, swans, geese). Additionally, this location has an 18 hole mini golf course, picnic tables, and walking trails with a waterfall. The trails lead up a small hill and there is a nice view of the water and surrounding area. Really great for sunsets!

I belong to the Lakeview Art Club. I paint with amazing artist who have become friends. We mini golf at the beautiful course and walk around lovely path overlooking a man-made lake with finding, paddle boarding. Paradise

We love Lakeview! It is like a gem in the middle of the desert for seniors with so many amenities like miniature golf, fishing swimming, and tennis. The serenity of the walking trails around the lake is so relaxing and peaceful.

Great place for folks in Sun City. It has everything to help keep you strong and healthy and have fun.

The check in lady is a literal and actual monster. Also get ready to pay $25 per guest to take a stroll around.

Like the pool. Dont care for the music station played there. Oldies music has to go!

I live LAKEVIEW center area. everything is their: Lake, walkable hill, wildlife, round 2-level building (Corp.HQ’s), waterfalls,picnic area, boat docks w/fishing, RV controlled mini boats, paddle & regular Boating. Mini-golf, tennis, Bowling, pool/Billards, car club repair shop, lawn bowling, regular bowling, outdoor shuffleboard courts. (& much more club rooms [Art-woodworking, pottery, etc).

Rare rainy day. Indoor hot tubs quite empty. The pool was too. Coolest day I remember in many years. The rain should make for beautiful dessert flowers!

Quickly and easily signed me up for the recreation center, and gave me lots of information.

Great place for a walk around the lake, dip in a beautiful pool or try your hand at something new in the craft area. Pick up a gift made by the people that are crafty, or go have dinner with new friends!

I go there to pay my yearly recreation fee of $248.00. May sound like a lot but it covers so many things I enjoy. I’m taking silver classes at the Bell Center and their studio is pure professional with every tool you could ever need. Each recreation center has their own classes with qualified instructors in each. If you’re bored living in Sun City shame on you because with all the sports offerings, swimming pools, spas, craft classes, educational classes, dance classes, and concerts there isn’t time to be bored.

As a new resident to Sun City, joined the SCRC! Went and had a Great time in the pool at Lake View. There are 7 recreation centers! I have 6 more to visit. I met Sun City women and cooled off in the water. Clean and uncrowded time of day around noon. (Suffered a sun burn though! Ouch!) The bulletin boards were fantastic filled with flyers (not empty boxes) with annual schedules of concerts, workshops, etc. for all the recreation centers. The endless events and activities in Sun City is so wonderful! Enjoyed my first visit very much!

Went with my mom who is a member. The view was peaceful and not crowded. Very enjoyable.

Very beautiful and well maintained. The paths are very walkable for people of all abilities, and the view from the gazebo is breath-taking.

Lakeview Recreation Center is one of the oldest recreation centers in Sun City, but it has been a very well maintained and it has a swimming pool and a very interesting layout for all of the club rooms. It has club rooms on both the first and the second floor. It has a very nice swimming pool in the middle of the area and you can look down from all of the club rooms on the pool and the people in it. it is also the place where you pay for your annual dues membership fees and any additional fees such as the golf fees. All in all one of the nicer recreation centers here in Sun City.

The equipment is very good and well maintained. The bathroom and showers are so clean and attractive. And oh my, the walking pool is fantastic with different areas taking in the heights of people. Its very long. The pool is huge. The people you meet there are very friendly. The personal trainers are excellent and you look forward to seeing them. Two large jacuzzi s. The setting is gorgeous.

Very nice facility for a variety of recreational activities. I especially liked the pool and spa.

Its beautiful by the lake. You need to go to the top by the gazebo. Awesome place for pictures. Waterfalls., bald eagles. Peaceful

The rec center is ideal for all Sun City residents to hone their crafts, or learn a new one theres a swimming pool, card Games, cribbage, Bridge just all kinds of activities. And Im very happy to be a part of this community

They have such a clean beautiful park and a abe to walk around the lake and there are blue heron testing there

Beautiful place to walk and enjoy the scenery. People were very friendly too.

This was the second time my son and I came here to get presents for people. A couple of things for the wife and one for his adopted grandpa. Prices are pretty decent and the people we dealt with were real nice. I need to remember their fall sale next year to see a bigger selection.

We went to a wedding there and it was delightful. The ceremony was in the gazebo and the reception was in the banquet hall. Everything was just lovely.

Getting to and from the parking lot into the rec service office is impossible for handicapped people. But the people are awesome in the office
