Sumter is making an effort to revitalize the downtown and it has potential but there isnt a bustling restaurant or bar scene. It is clean which is nice and the brewery gave some sort of life but there is still much left to be desired in order to attract business and patrons.

The place is beautiful but could possibly use some more benches there are some nice restaurants and some pretty statues. Plus the sign is pretty near some waterfalls

This area has really come a long way from what it used to be. The City of Sumter has put in a lot of effort, time and money to fix up downtown. Almost all of the roads have been repaved, new street lights have been installed, lots of cross walks and new traffic lights. There are a lot of historical markers, buildings and churches that one can spend an entire day exploring.
