Pleasant spot for changing exhibitions. I enjoyed the show on display by an Asian woman artist: Jiha Moon, and her A Mad Tea Party. Various media, from wall hangings and masks to the actual tea party create an interesting and evocative visual experience.

FREE and open to the public! Beautiful exhibition galleries and a nice little gift shop. They also offer art classes. The lady running the place is an absolute joy to talk to. The location is surrounded by historical houses and buildings that were also a treat to see. Check their website for events and gallery updates!

Who doesnt love beautiful works of art?Sumter is blessed with many talented and creative local artists.Patriot Hall and the Sumter County Gallery of Art are a short drive from anywhere in town. Id bet that may local people have never been there, if thats you, you should visit today, you wont be sorry.Visitors to Sumter are welcome too, and the suggested donation is only $2.00, so you get to see some beautiful art, and it wont dent your pocketbook. Its ours, its wonderful, please pay this underutilized wonder a visit!

A small gallery with lovely exhibitions. Im a big fan of those galleries that showcase local artists and artisans, and this gallery does that. The staff is warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem in Sumter and for the whole state of South Carolina. A diverse range of artists have their work shown here. Very helpful and inviting staff.

A great one art gallery that rotates through local artists, as well as participating in greater regional art projects, including some partnerships that have even extended to Japan! Not very big, but its free, and has a nice little gift shop. Great for an hour or so adventure in downtown Sumter

Love the exhibits, but the classes are my favorite. Nice that they even do an art summer camp for kids-important when schools are not providing art classes.

Great outdoor sculpture. Pottery, painting and mixed-media classes for all ages and skill levels are taught by excellent artists.

Its a pretty small place, if you enjoy art you might spend like 30 to 45 minutes in there.
