Whats not to say about the staff, kids summer camp and all those tennis Pro instructors who genuinely help these up and coming tennis players! Overall nice place.

We go to work out there and play golf its a great place I think it does need to be updated in certain aspects but it is a classic traditional place to go play golf and enjoy yourself especially on Sunday afternoons with the buffet for brunch

I’ve been here multiple times and enjoyed the ambiance, great natural beauty.

I have been doing events here in the past 15 years and the new management is horrible. Their staff does not even know half the stuff thats going on and Valet guy seems like he was having a bad day (RUDE). They use to have good access for all the vendors to load and unload and now the new management wont allow that therefore its almost a mile walk to get things in the ballroom. I was trying to speak with a manager regarding this matter, the lady in the front had no idea either when he or she is coming.

I went there this February because I was recognized for the Young Citizen of the Month Award for school. Mom, Numa, Rifa, and my counselor Ms. Nguyen were there! This was the best day of my entire life and the entire decade! After that, all of the teachers, staff, and students at school were very proud of me!

Its nice just not what it used to be. Theyve had multiple owners and personnel touch has gotten lost in the service. The staff is nice but managment isnt so easy to work with.

Great place and good people. There are 2 golf courses here and tennis courts. They have a pro shop, veranda, function rooms, and restaurant.

One would think with how nice the clubhouse is and the multimillion dollar homes that line the course you are about to play a superior golf course. This just isnt the case. The course just doesnt represent that. It was not in good shape.

I hosted a party here and my party planner was Diana. Diana would never respond to me and I was always confused. During my party the music was very bad. The people who set up the chairs, table covers, etc are very nice and helpful. Very pretty though. Pricy.

We truly enjoy Sweetwater Country Club as a family to dine and enjoy beverages. As a local real estate expert, the club provides a place to bring clients that are considering owning a home in the area. Dining here can be casual or formal, and no matter the dining location you pick, the staff takes great care of you.

Sweetwater has two of the best golf courses in the Greater Houston Area, along with a great restaurant and bar. One of the things I would say I like best about Sweetwater is the staff. Throughout the entire organization their staff starting at the their General Manager at the top do an amazing job creating a special client experience. Oh and by the way the food is really good. So If you are looking for a Country Club and you want a great golf courses, top notch staff along with an outstanding restaurant then you should put Sweetwater is the place for you.

We went to a wedding reception there last weekend. It was nice. The food was okay. I had scallops and shrimp - the scallops was under-cooked and the large shrimp were over-cooked. Otherwise, the place was nice. Lots of golf carts and golfers around.Well, looks like Ill be attending another wedding reception here again. Im ordering chicken this time around.

For a country club it has a wonderful assortment of activities: golf, tennis, basketball, indoor and outdoor pool, racquet ball, and a fitness area.

Ive only ever been here for events. Ive never been a member, so I dont know what that experience is like. But, the facilities are nice just a little dated. Though it is in one of the nicest neighborhoods in all of metro Houston.

The service was exceptional and the grill had a wide variety of food options. We went there for a golf tournament and to be a country club with multi-million homes on the course it was in the deplorable shape. Yes, the weather has been difficult for area courses. The weather does not control oil droppings that burn up the turf on the greens. Overseeding would really help, cart paths repaired where the cement has cracked and will cause your teeth to fall out, repairs of fairway drainage areas, sod needed in the middle of fairways, instead of mud lakes. There were more GUR markings than broken tees on the tee boxes. Maybe the ground crew needs some financial help or more trained people. I would think a club that has two courses would have a large percentage of golfers and the courses should be a top priority.

Nice venue for weddings. Has nice ballrooms. Catering has s good selection of food. Plenty of staff so that food service is smooth and timely. Weddings on lawn are very picturesque.

The facility itself is a bit dated, but the atmosphere is quite nice and feels welcoming. They have air-conditioning witihin their tennis courts, which is nice, as well as that the location is quite nice, as you get to see many rich people houses.

Courses are in fine shape. But showers, pool area and facilities are stale and need serious updating.

Salad used to be really good here but as of late there just greens and really bad salad dressing. The main course leaves something to be desired also Im not sure whats going on whether theyve changed cooks or what but its just does not live up to past history.

Very well cared for parking lot and grounds. Clean interior. Valet area very orderly. Staff not the friendliest.

Ive been a member here for a couple of years now. The people and the atmosphere is fantastic. The golf course has been a bit more neglected recently but Im hoping that itll improve soon (under new management). I go here mainly for the tennis. It is continuously getting more and more competitive but most players are around the 4.0 USTA ranking level with some 4.5 players. The Tennis staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Food at the 4400 is great and their pizzas are fantastic since the new pizza oven got installed not too long ago.

Most greens in good shape, fairways are still thin(just been aerated). Had a great lunch-seafood gumbo.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. Wedding reception was ruined by non working A/C, food was not palatable, guests who came in from out of state & flew in from out of the country left early, & I wont go any further than that except to say, Personally, I would not return there for an engagement.

Facilities are pretty good. Basketball court needs some attention. The reason this gets a one star is because of the service. Rude employees and people affiliated with the club. No regards to paying customers and allowing an unsafe playing area. Why pay for a place that doesnt care about its clientele

One of my favorite Country Clubs, reception is great, very friendly staff very very clean which to us are the top reasons of why we do our Realtor Events at this location, we always have pleasant experience here, we will continue to come since the service is their priority.

Sweetwater Country Club is a beautiful location for an event, the valet is very good and quick, and there are good views from all of its windows. The food for their catered events is very good (I highly recommend their chicken).

Beautiful but Terrible golf course condition.1. Overwhelmingly gnats totally destroy the fun of playing.2. Greens not well maintained. Aerification holes last weeks.3. Outsider abused the driving range use. Lack administration and membership verification.

One of my nephews had their wedding here and the place, food, and views were great. The food was just ok but it was tasty. The houses around the country club was vivivi-vooom!!!!!
