Nice place to relax and wind down. Good time with the family. But was worried with the limited social distancing and little to no masks worn by folks at the park (we were masked up alright). Worried during these COVID times. Lets be safe, folks.

They have a nice playground area here and it is completely covered. Which is nice for today since it has been rainy and everything here is actually dry. Plus, in the heat of the summer time Ill be able to bring my kids here and let them run around in the shade so they wont get quite so hot. It also looks like they have some really nice astro turf fields and walking trails throughout the park too.

Nice under covered playground with good, safe slides, climbing thingies and close fields to run around.It looks like the park will be expanded because theres big construction trucks driving around

Grandkids loved it after I did get them home I ended up taking a nap cuz I was so tired watching them Grandma took over

Parking is rough it is mostly a park for soccer and has a nice playground. The playground is not very lit at night time though that could use some better lighting.

Nice park, mostly just turf fields and a playground. But the playground is covered which is nice if its raining or really hot and sunny. The restrooms are pretty dingy though.

Oct 2020The AstroTurf side of the he park is covered in sand from recent flooding. The 1/2 mile track around the sides is open. The other side of the park is closed for renovations

Maybe a little more attention needs to be paid to the parking area.

Love it but most if all my kids love it! Great space with beautiful scenery and pure serenity. Nice covered play area with variety of fun things for small and big kids. Track and soccer/football field and walking trails! Great job on this 1 Sugar Hill!!

My son and daughter play soccer here and it is one of the best facilities we have had soccer practices/games at. I like how they have bathrooms on both ends of the field and the playground structure is covered. It helps on those hot fall days. There is usually plenty of places to park despite the large crowds for games and practices going on.

Great place to get away and go for a walk. Really enjoyed pausing at the covered bridges over the streams.

This park is beautiful every time we come. Will maintained and lots of different options, whether you play in the playground, run it rider in the track or trails or play on the fields... Always a good time.

Awesome place to take thr kids

This is a great park with a playground suitable for all ages. However, there arent any swings that are accessible for kids with special needs and the paths to the pavilion are questionable for those in wheelchairs. The bathrooms are rarely maintained so use the restroom before you go. The creek is a lovely place to explore during the summer, but from all other points of view, its average.

Nice big covered play area. Clean bathrooms close by. Big open fields. Cant ask for much more than that from a public space!

Nice park. Out of the way so I dont think there are allot of people all the time. Has a good playground for kids and great football/soccer fields. Has trails so you can take a walk.

Lights around the parking lot often do not work properly in the evening leaving it pretty dark. The bathrooms are often relatively gross even for a public space. The main parking lot is very tight to navigate when its busy. The turf fields are typically clean and in good shape and well lit.

It’s a nice place to practice

I like this park. I come here to use the turf field and practice soccer on the weekends. I like to walk some the trail and get my miles in.

Beautiful area, and great walking trail.There are a couple of turf fields here that are in dire need of being replaced. Its practically sandpaper, so come prepared if you will be playing on its surface.There is a play area for kids, so its family friendly!Parking is easy and can get a little awkward with its narrow lanes.

Nice community park. Was there to watch my grandson play a soccer game. It could use a few more bathroom facilities!!! Lots of kids and a long way for them to have to go to the bathroom --- unless there was one closer and we just didnt see it!!!!! Overall a great place to take your kids and let them run off the day!!!

Nice athletic fields. Lots of deer and rabbits around walking trails.

This Park is so kept up and Huge. There is so many soccer fields and trails to walk or ride bikes. The kids love the big play ground!

An incredible facility designed for football, soccer, etc. A walking track, 2 big pavilions, and high bleachers make it excellent for the public. We feel safe and dont worry while we are there.

Very busy on the weekends and when school is in session. Parking is limited. The grass is turf and the park is clean.

Best neighborhood park anywhere, plenty of fields, trails, and covered playground space. Great place!

Love that the entire playground (minus swings) is effectively covered, which is perfect for rainy or hot days. The soccer fields were a great place for my toddler and I to run around and kick a ball. Plenty of room to run around, you aren’t walking over other families. Bathrooms weren’t entirely clean, but they weren’t any worse than what you find at usual public restrooms; I’m just glad they were located right next to the playground so you don’t have to hike with your child to get to them.

Great park. Has soccer fields, playground, restrooms, and a great walking trail.The only negative, is sometimes the restrooms are closed on cold days. If youre looking for the waterfall in these pictures, its not here. I believe that picture was taken elsewhere and uploaded here by mistake.

One of the best parks Ive seen in a long time. I will call it a soccer practice Haven. But dont get me wrong there are slides and fun activities for toddlers and the little ones. It also has beautiful trails. Folks living inside the perimeter might find a bit of a drive but its worth the check

The fields are the best around the area

Great soccer fields. Pretty clean. My only complaint is the when it rains, the area around the field is super muddy and its bad for retrieving balls.

We went there to see a youth football game. Didnt really strong the grounds but it seemed clean and well keep.

Good for walking if you dont mind doing laps. It can be very busy during soccer season.The playground is covered which is great, but the mulch had some sort of black coating which left residue on our shoes. Playground seems good for ages 3+.

The park is enjoyable and the fields are well maintained. My biggest complaint is the poorly maintained bathrooms. Theyre constantly filthy and I avoid them at all costs.

Go see the Georgia Force Football team on Friday nights. They are si much fun for a Home School team

Nice fields but hard to play lacrosse there with no fields enclosed. Alot of soccer played there. Great Playground.

One of the best family friendly parks around! Spacious turf fields, soccer, football, covered playground for the younger crowd, restrooms, concessions, water fountains, plenty of parking and more! We love this park!!

My son took soccer lessons here. It provided plenty of room, and a good playground to entertain the smaller kids while waiting for my sons practice to end. The majority of the people at the park were pleasant, however I did have a run in with a local dog walker that seemed to be drunk, high or mentally unstable, yelling at people who looked at her.

Nice park/sports complex. The playground is covered which is a huge bonus for the kiddos on a hot summer day, but the flip side is it gets muggy. Soccer fields are mostly turf which has its ups and downs depending on the player you are asking...always green though. Series of walking trails through and around the park. Downside is parking can be a bit limiting if the sports activity is high for the day.

This park is never very busy meaning the playground is open most of the time. The fields are free for kids to run and play around in for the most part too. The parking lots can be a bit confusing for people who arent familiar with the area but it is a great place to visit on a day off from school.

Attended a soccer game yesterday at 6:30pm. The parking lot is very poorly lit, as are the fields.

I like the place

I have only been to Gary Perkle Park one time. My first impression is, this park is the best. Excellent walking trails. I only saw a small section of the park. Its quite large.
