Exceptional! Large pioneer & agriculture museum with a few out buildings. Has a town display. Well done displays with great attention to detail. One of the best small town museums that I have visited throughout the country. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I visited last week and stayed longer than I was planning to, since there was so much to see and enjoy. Thanks.
This place is a must visit if youre traveling through Stuttgart! They have an expansive display of life in the early days of the towns settlement. What piqued my interest was the more that 100 year old farm machinery and tools, but they have gorgeous displays of home and town life from the farmhouse to the doctors office. There is also an area dedicated to the prominent duck hunting culture in Stuttgart and its history. The staff could not be more accommodating and knowledgeable; they made us out-of-towners feel very welcome during our entire visit.
Excellent museum to visit and learn so much about the grand prairie.
It was wonderful and my grandson loved it we got to see every thing even in his wheelchair and he loved getting to meet julie the cat thanks to all for making a little boy so happy
So sad it was closed. We werent sure how long it has been closed.
Very interesting. A lot of history on display.
This is an awesome museum if youre interested in early 19th-20th century history. The artifacts are incredible and very easy to get close to. There is a museum cat, which is always a plus, and the staff are friendly. The schoolhouse is meticulously preserved and makes you feel as though youve been transported 120 years into the past.
Ive spent a lot of time looking at all the agricultural history exhibits here and there been more time in the incredible Waterfowl Wing with all the antique decoys, callers and World Duck Calling Championship memorabilia. Theres no other place like it and I highly recommend you drop by whenever you can. Youll be glad you did. And its 100 percent free. Hows that for a bargain?!
Wonderful place! Ive taken my son, then later my granddaughters there & I always find something that I didnt remember in previous visits.
Very interesting museum. The lady shared lots of history with us. Well taken care of.
Enjoyed learning history on this time.
A cool little museum with old farm equipment, antique duck decoys, taxidermy, guns and history on rice and waterfowl in Arkansas County.
