I’ve hunted with Jabber the past three years. Jabber is very professional and does his best to make our hunts successful. I’ve hunted several other places in the area with other guides and Jabber has been by far the best with allowing us to shoot and to put us on birds. He goes the extra mile to ride before and after hunts to find where the birds were at. From now on Heavy Shot Guide Service will be the only guide service I hunt with.

One of the hardest working crews in waterfowl. Guides have no control over weather or migration of birds. If you understand hunting then you know this, some people do NOT !!!! These are wild birds and extremely hard to predict especially when conditions are terrible which they have been!!! There are no guarantees with wild birds !!! That’s why it’s called hunting !!! Jabber is one of the best, Hands down !!

We paid for 3 hunts with this guide service and I was not impressed with what we payed for. Three groups were all surprised to find our selves combined together for a goose hunt and stuffed into one blind. Of course 13 guns only shot two birds. Not professional, terrible communication, no birds....Not coming back.

This is our third year hunting with HSGS. Jabber is awesome to work with and has been honest with what everyone is killing. If anyone understands hunting, a lot of factors have to fall in place for a good hunt. Jabber made sure my husband and I had the first shot. He would even ride around before the evening hunt to see where the birds were. We will continue using HSGS

Guide didnt seem to have scouted before the hunt. Two hunts in a row and the group shot only 3 birds.

Ive hunted with Jabber several times now over the last two seasons. He puts in the extra effort to make your hunt enjoyable. Hes a straight shooter, always tells me what conditions to expect. If birds arent in the area he will tell you (unlike others who just take your money and say oh well thats hunting). I highly recommend his services.

Guided lied to us about how things where going to go and charged us for $1,100 for a hunt.For nothing and didn’t want to make things better on the hunt bad experience won’t be doing business with them every again.
