Great motorcycle museum with bikes you will not see anywhere else. A nice little gift shop with special items related to the museum and the local area. A must see when youre in Sturgis SD. Dont pass it up.
The museum offers a nice variety and age of motorcycles for display. I found most of the history and factoids interesting. Several of the bikesmade me curious, meaning, is it comfortable to ride that machine (smile)? I was unaware of the significance that some of the women played in the motorcycle sport aspect . It was good to read the acknowledgements and biographies. The price is very good if you purchase tickets in a group of 2 or more. The additional guests cost only $5 each, which is well worth the visit.
Very nice selection of a variety of different motorcycles, and not just Harley Davidsons. A must see if you are in to bikes, and a cool stop if you want to check out something different. Their is a custom chopper painted up with historical events from the 60s. We loved this place.
It was awesome. I loved seeing the bikes from the beginning to the modern and some of the weird custom colorful bikes in the first room. The intricate wood carvings were a treasure to see just by how much detail went into every carver.
5+ stars! While my wife, 2 daughters and I have never been motorcycle enthusiasts my 2 year old son has been OBSESSED since could say mosickle!!!. We took a family vaca to Rapid City and intended on spending a day in Deadwood. While going through we though wed stop for Ethan so he could see all the mosickles. With a few inches of snow on the ground and temps in the teens it was no surprise we were the only customers and boy did they treat us like that! From picking out a motorcycle he could sit on/touch freely to side car sit-down he was in all his glory. They even fired one up for him to top off his experience! All and all this has been the highlight of our trip....a very unexpected one. Thank you staff at the Sturgis Motorcycle M&HOF!!!!!
A for sure stop for all Brothers and sisters who ride and love the lifestyle of the tradition of 2 men called Harley and one Davidson
The museum was awesome. All the old bikes and the history behind them. Definately recommend for a visit.
Highly recommend to stop in. If you like motorcycles or history then it is a must.

I dont know much about motorcycles, but the smile and excitement my husband had on his face tells me it was awesome!
Well presented with a variety of bikes. Smaller museum with a lot of soul.

Lots of interesting bikes to look at. 10 bucks to get in.
Well worth the cost of entry, small museum but some very nice antique motorcycles.

A great little museum with several very rare motorcycles on display, such as the failed 99 E-H Super X. Definitely worth a visit, and the staff is great too.
Fun to see all of the motorcycles and what a surprise to see the 1st mini bike we owned the Honda
What a great collection of motorcycles and information on them! Not just the motorcycles but also information on famous riders in history. They have antiques and modern customs as well. And not just Harleys. Youll find Indians, Nortons, and even a Flying Merkel among many others. Lots of bikes on two floors. Nice little gift shop with clothing and little trinkets. If you are near Sturgis and have any interest at all in motorcycles you have to stop here.
Good selection of motor cycles and great information about them.
Great displays clean and friendly staff
Great people . Excellent job hosting the rally.
This is a place that you have to go to if youre in Sturgis. There are many bike in the museum, I was just a little disappointed considering this is the hot bed of the motorcycle world.Should you go to the museum? Yea go anyway it part of tourist trap and does has some interesting exhibits
Was able to see motorcycles Ive only seen in pictures

Awesome if you live to look at vintage cyclez
Amazing history! Very informative!
Great place to visit in sturgis.
Some if the coolest motorcycle displays Ive ever seen
Wow. There are motorcycles from the 1920s here, and they are beautiful! The artwork throughout the entire building is gorgeous and unique, but I wont forget those motorcycles. Definitely a place to check out if in the area, interested in motorcycles and history, or just interested in art.
There are lots of different brands and models of scooters and motorcycles on display. Many had a posting detailing their origin, etc. There are displays documenting the history of the beginning and each decade of the Rally. You need to have more than just a few minutes to fully appreciate whats on display here. It also has a small souvenir shop. Group rates are available, too.
A lot of interesting bikes and information on the history
All u need to know about harly davidson
If you like Harleys this you have to see.
Not juat Harley here but watch your step. I almost tripped over a scooter as I came.around a corner
Unbelievable, rare collection. Movies were great! Friendly staff. Clean restrooms and facility was spotless. Not expensive. Senior discount. Received a buy one, get one free from Visitor Center Sturgis on right before you get to town. Neat gift shop. Loved it!

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame has a wide variety of vintage motorcycles that is sure to appeal to riders of all types. They also provide a detailed history of the Sturgis Rally, and souvenirs are available for purchase.
Really interesting small but good.
A must stop when in Sturgis to support the local motorcycle museum which had a bunch of lovely bikes in there and a lot of motorcycle history anybody who rides should definitely stop.
Neat place to go through.
Enjoyed the history. Clerk was very nice and helpful
We had so much fun! My husband was in heaven. Hes a gear head and loves his Harley, so of course we had to go through the museum. He loved every minute and there was a lot of cool information for the kids too.
Expensive to get it. Just walked in and looked at gift shop.
111 motorcycles worth the price and historical
Great museum! There are some fantastic motorcycles in here. It’s very fun and informative. The staff is friendly & welcoming. I have to stop at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum each time I visit Sturgis. If you like motorcycles this place is a must see.
Great collection of motorcycle history through the years. They have some really unique motorcycle memorabilia that Ive never seen before in other museums. Not the biggest museum Ive ever been to, but worth it! Staff were very accommodating.
Very interesting. Lots of cool stuff filling this place. It takes longer than youd expect to do it justice.
Nice selection of vintage bikes!
Hubby thought this place was fabulous. Thought older collection could have been better, but really enjoyed himself. Not a biker either, just likes anything that has a motor. Lol
Very interesting and unique items!
Great place to visit
A lot of fun stuffs!!!
Its a beatiful place to go to
Awesome place beautiful bikes
Lots of bargain shopping at the moment after Rally.
Great museum! Great people! Awesome people! Great exhibits!
Beautiful
The museum has a lot of motorcycles personally, we would have liked to see more Harleys. The bikes used in war were interesting tho.
Lots of information about how motorcycles came to be. Not a large museum and not kid friendly. Our three girls did really well but I was nervous they would knock something over.
It was very interesting! Loved seeing the different bikes and learning the history of them all.
I visited today, September 20th 2019.Arrived at 4:30pm and they said 30 minutes is plenty of time to look at all the bikes as they close at 5pm.But instead of letting me stay until 5, they kicked me out around. 4:45.. the lady was very rude and wouldnt let me stay a few more minutes to finish taking my pictures. She did say a few minutes earlier that its closing time soon, but I thought she meant soon at 5pm, not at 4:48.Why dont you just change your close time to 4:45 than??Stop deceiving your customers and stop being rude to them. And refund my money.
So cool!
A cool museum about motorcycle and Sturgis rally history. There are some really cool bikes to see.
Nice small Museum.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum is without doubt a major life experience ! As much if not more than Mt. Rushmore or some of the other great museum and attractions in South Dakota. I saw at least 9 or 10 motorcycles identical to ones Ive owned and enjoyed in my lifetime, and I got to remember and re-live many life-experiences briefly of each motorcycle associated with them.
If you love Motorcycles and Riding you have to stop by this Museum in Sturgis, SD.
Great place to see, some really old bikes and great history.
One of the best collections I have seen and they treat veterans very good. I highly recommend you visit it.
