Nice place to eat outdoors with the beautiful view of the boats and the river. You can sit either downstairs next to the dock or sit upstairs. The bartender/waitress was ver pleasant and friendly. The fried calamari and fried Mahi bites were a bit bland but good. The blackened Mahi sandwich had good flavor though and liked the sauce that came with it.

Haven’t been here in awhile and came back for a local weekend get away for our 40th high school reunion. Forgot how beautiful it is to be here on the water with the view of the marina. Ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the Mahi bites, fish dip, and hogfish at dinner. And at breakfast, the chef knows how to make real southern grits! Great food, great location, and great staff. Very happy to be spending a weekend here.

We stay here every time we visit Port Salerno! The rooms are clean and the owner takes a lot of pride in the place. The restaurant and bar are a great place to eat and hang out. I recommend the mahi reuben! It’s delicious and you won’t find anywhere else! You never know who you’re going to meet while sitting outside at the bar. The locals that frequent the bar are friendly and they have pretty awesome stories to tell. You can tell the staff are treated great just by how they treat the guests. The marina is awesome and when there is a tournament going on, it gets super interesting! Only improvement that could be made is to offer rooms with a full refrigerator/freezer for those needing to freeze their catch. I’m not deducting a star for this because: we ran into this issue on our most recent visit, and the resort was very helpful and thankfully our fish didn’t ruin! They are very accommodating, so don’t hesitate to ask for something. We can’t wait for our next visit!!

We had a lovely three day stay at this unique resort located right at a marina. The checkin process observed the safety procedures for the Covid 19 with a shield at the counter. The rooms are good and the maid service is excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast, they used paper menus and the waiters wore masks in the restaurant. The price is reasonable for the location. We felt very safe at this nice resort.

Everyone there was so friendly. The food was delicious. They had the Radio Days Band there which was awesome as well. We had a great night, so much fun! We will definitely go again.

This cute little hotel is hidden away but a perfect little gem! The rooms were clean and had ac, the balcony was lovely, and we walked down to the Tiki Bar to watch the sunset and sunshine! Beautiful spot!

Wonderful location out of the way but still right on the water, food was amazing and our server Lisa was incredible. Rooms were good size and super clean. Highly recommend!!

This well-cared-for property was a pleasant surprise. Pirates Cove head very reasonable prices and a nice location so I decided to give it a try.The atmosphere and Views are stunning. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. Bed was super comfortable

It was 50/50 on service. Food was a little pricey but good. Steak was cooked perfectly. But they insist on serving almost all their meals with asparagus. you can ask them to not give you asparagus even though theyre going to charge you for it. And theyll tell you sure but theyll still bring out the asparagus with your food anyway. LOL

Liked mooring boat nearby with a very nice pool with great service. Nothing happened during our stay that detracted from the ambiance and experience. Overall, a terrific stay.

Great hotel on the water with restaurant and bar. The marina has dock sites for boats of all sizes and offers a handful of fishing charter boats. Rooms are clean and offer poolside or water view. For the price, the hotel is excellent. I recommend dining at the local restaurants, rather than at the hotel.

Im a musician in a band that played at The Loft at Pirates Cove Resort recently. Their food was really delicious, exceptional and better than I expected. The staff was sharp and attentive and the atmosphere was excellent. It was a trek for me because I live in Ft Lauderdale, but I will go back there for sure and would regularly if I lived in Stuart. Really cool place with excellent live music regularly (which I love!) Will post a pic or two of our band also. Pure Heart, a tribute to Heart. Thank you to everyone there, it was really pleasureful to play there and to hang out. Thanks to Ron Hart and whole staff. Cheers!

Laid back atmosphere, clean rooms with balconies overlooking marina, restaurants and bars what more can you ask for?

Loved our stay the people are great and very accommodating. I didnt give 5 stars simply because the beds seem to be older and not comfortable at all... but we just stayed 1 night so wasnt to much in bed.

Rooms are clean. Restaurant is awesome. Staff is great. Only thing was can’t find a dang bathroom that was open.

I admire this place! They have high quality meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that restaurant is well trained, I love very much tasting all their food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is agreeable. I go often to this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. Highly recommended.

I am responding about the negative review from Randy.As a customer I was sat right beside the table of the 2 ( Male and female) were sitting at and whom was pretty rude. The server Keera was very nice and professional by the way with how rude people can be. Everyone has different ways in doing things and hers might not have been up to their par with what they expected. Ive seen the server there multiple times bringing food and drinks back and forth, also looked to me the server was at the table within 5 to 7 min, which seemed they did get their food and drinks on time. They got there around the same time me and my date did and that was around 7:30-35 pm or so and they left before I did which was around 8:55-9 pm. But if it was true and that bad, at that point I would have left to go to Shrimpers, Twisted Tuna or Manatee. It definitely looked to me the manager did go to their table, spent some time there at the table and tried to diffuse the situation. He seemed polite and professional. It was definitely noticed they had more then a few complaints. Myself, friends and family have gone to Pirates Cove and have had great experiences, including last night (Valentines Day) and the food is really good. I feel this does not justify their negative behavior just because they might have had 1 thing happen that they didnt like and just wanted to expand it into multiple. I hope they paid for their bill too.

This place is quite unique. It’s an older resort with some updating going on, but it is clean with friendly staff. The marina is a great place to hang out, eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company. We ate at the outside restaurant. We had KEERA as a waitress. She was very personable, friendly, professional, upbeat, and down right the best waitress we have had anywhere! Thank you KEERA for taking such good care of us! Didn’t get the bartenders name but she was just as nice as Keera! We will be back!

5 stars all the way man! I was at Pirates Cove on 7.4 as a DJ and wedding officiant, but I decided to return the next day as a GUEST. The staff was really friendly (Amy, Brenda) and they were on top of things throughout the event I was working (my own company is typically servicing 200 plus events annually, altho with Covid, not so much) so I know about a lot of places. Food was great (pulled pork, honey baked beans, Mahi) and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere is relaxed (water view from event room & restaurant) and exactly the kind of thing you want in a Florida based place. As I said, it was so nice, I went up there the next day with my wife & 2-year-old son to just have lunch on the deck and chill out. It was a welcome respite from the hullabaloo of Palm Beach County, and I highly recommend it. IF life gets back to normal anytime soon, I plan to stay there with my wife as there are some great bands that play in the area too. An ideal spot.

My stay was great until they charged my card triple the cost of my stay a week later for smoking in the room when no one did.

We started out looking for a quite place kinda away from it all . Well we found it here at Pirates Cove . Restaurant was clean friendly with really good food and portions large enough to invite a friend haha. The hotel was just as nice, rooms were clean furnished beautifully small balcony with open view and private. Bathroom is well maintained with a large dressing area . Lighting was bright in the bathroom and dressing area while the room has soft lighting in addition to wonderfull window treatments and a private door to the balcony. The grounds around the hotel has many areas with benches table and chairs to relax chat or people watch, the landscaping is beautiful, great for picture taking. There is also a tiki bar with live music from. 8 to 11. Perfect All an all this is a great place to be . The staff is friendly an helpful. We will be returning . Unfortunately we had really bad weather rained alot but no worries. Everything we needed was right there .Food, music and friendly folks making for a great weekend.

This is our usual stop when out on the boat. The location is a blast and it is always crowded but the staff can handle it. The she crab soup is the best item on the menu, get with a little sherry perfection! Other highlights is the rum punch, fish tacos, fired scallops sandwich, chicken and avocado wrap, and the key lime pie. Funny signs are hung up all over and really add to the flavor of the place. They accept credit and debit cards.

I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW...THE MANAGER SUSAN IS NOT A GOOD MANGER...WORKING WITH CUSTOMERS IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. Pirates Cove is one of the most well equipped, full amenity hotels adjoining a marina. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Ours had a back porch that overlooked the marina itself. Wed meet at our boat, a 60 Viking, to head out in pursuit of Atlantic Sailfish each morning at 6:30 AM. By the time we came aboard, it was obvious that the captain and his crew had been up preparing the boat for hours. There are a number of wonderful restaurants and bars well within walking distance of this marina. Its beautifully situated and conveniently located close to excellent sailfishing grounds.

Service is excellent. Food is good. They have three different areas which is great and its right in the water

After much searching we found Pirates Cove to be the perfect location for our wedding ceremony and reception. The chef (Richard ) and Hotel GM ( Susan) are exceptional. Together they delivered above and beyond our expectations. All our guests who stayed at the resort were complimenting the friendliness of all staff, cleanliness of rooms and the fantastic quality of food. Our ceremony was downstairs facing the marina. Honestly it was all inclusive from the white chairs and alter to the open bar and food. After our reception the party continued at the bar with a live band. We are away on our honeymoon now and already booked a room at Pirates Cove to end our honeymoon where we started a week ago. Thank you Pirates Cove for making my bride feel like a princess.

Not your typical hotel. It’s dated and empty. Which in our case was not a bad thing as we wanted quiet. Only negative was advertising says pool is heated and it’s ice cold. Beautiful at night, food was good. We only stayed one night. I doubt we will stay again as it’s not a family place. Room was clean, water view is of a bunch of boats. Just feedback but was not a bad trip.

DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A PLACE THAT ENFORCES THE MANDATORY FACE MASK ORDINANCE. we got dirty looks for wearing masks, and people were grouped around the bar and other areas. There was a big fishing tournament that happened.... We sat far apart from others and people walked close by

What an awesome place! Every room has a water view! The rooms are very clean, nice tile floors (I hate hotels with carpet), dog friendly everywhere there, great bartenders and servers (overly good) wonderful friendly staff- I can’t say enough great things about it!! It a 4 hour drive from where I live in St Oete and I will definitely do it again in a few months! Great value for the price!

Our room was very nice with an awesome view. Had live entertainment that was very enjoyable. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby that were an easy walk away. You would think though that for the money you pay that they would at least give you a complimentary drink or meal. In our room the refrigerator broke down. Instead of replacing it, they brought in a large ice chest. We were there nearly two weeks. That shouldve been more than enough time to get us a replacement. Housekeeping services was excellent. That was the second time we stayed there. Will most likely look for a different resort to stay at on our next visit. Have to say it was clean, nice grounds, and felt safe.

The manager there at the lower bar I couldnt believe what I heard tonight she told a Patron to go f yourself I was floored I will never go there again I asked the women if she was okay and she said yes and left but I was just mortified by that kind of language and management shameful will never go there again

Terrible. Rooms didn’t have refrigerators or microwaves. We tried to check out and get a refund and they told us the manager wasn’t available so they weren’t sure if they could refund us so we pretty much were forced to stay here. Terrible pick. Worst hotel and pathetic resort. Never again.
