Went with two other people and had a blast. Learned a lot about the glassmaking process and how different pieces are made. The owner is a riot - Id pay just to go back and shoot the breeze with that dude. He also has nice pieces for sale in his shop. Maybe not as nice as the heart that I made, but we bought stuff anyway. Shipping is fairly cheap too. If youre looking for something fun and cool, check this place out. Bring your sense of humor.

We went for a glass blowing class. Michael and his assistant James were awesome!! They explained each of the techniques as we went, in addition to the materials used. Everyone had a smile on their face the entire time and we all went home with a piece of our own glassware! They also have a great inventory of super unique glass pieces for sale. If you’re looking to do something a little different, definitely check this place out!

Best time hands down! I recently took a trip to Vermont with my husband and we had the privilege of seeing this master glass blower at work. The studio was beautifully decorated with all of his work. We watched him making a piece right before taking his must do class! Seriously a must see and must do if you are in Stowe. We definitely have a new appreciation for glass after seeing him work!

My girlfriend and I made our own glass pieces for what I feel was a reasonable price. With Michael’s help they turned out surprisingly well. The owner/artist Michael is obviously a talented glass blower but also a knowledgeable guy about many topics. You will enjoy his humor and conversation while being guided through your glass blowing experience.

AMAZING!!! My wife and I went there twice for the glass blowing experience and it is totally worth it! Michael is a very good teacher, and super friendly too. He left us inspired and wanting more. We went home with 4 handmade pieces that we made ourselves that will always tell a great story. Definitely worth every penny. it is there best glass blowing studio we have been to. Owners wife is very nice and their dog super adorable!

Excellent and memorable glass blowing class by a master glass artisan! Small store and workshop in idyllic location with a fun and personable glass blower who gave us a very hands on hour long glass blowing instruction! Patient, thorough, fun, and a wealth of knowledge!! Be sure to stop here when in Stowe!!

Great place. Never miss and always buy when we visit Stowe. You can watch the glass blowing and they’re always happy to answer questions.

Loved watching the artisan and his apprentice go through the entire process of creating their art. They patiently explained and answered questions as we watched them working. It is also fun to purchase a homemade souvenir.

We were able to observe the glass blowing, and ask questions during the process. Michael was entertaining, and helpful. A great multi-tasker, as the artist was creating a large vase while answering our questions.We bought a few items, but were concerned they wouldnt fit into our carry-on luggage. Two days after we came home to Texas, our glass art arrived, packaged well and without a scratch! Worthwhile stop, for sure.

Fantastic experience perfect for families with children large or small. Michael takes the time to speak with individuals and expose them to the many aspects of glassblowing. He is a treasure of knowledge and amazing talents. Pieces in the gallery are perfect for the holidays or even a wedding gift! I cant wait to come back soon!

Amazing studio to observe glass blowing with beautiful pieces and friendly artist.

We came up to the Stowe area for our first time this weekend, right before Christmas. I saw that the Little River Hot Glass Studio on Moscow Road was nearby us. My son and I took a class and LOVED it SO MUCH! Our teacher Mike was truly amazing! We learned how to make vases. He is awesome at teaching glassblowing. We will definitely go back again and take another class!

The man who was working was not pushy about a purchase and gave us an up-close look at a piece he was working on.

The wife and I came here on a day off, and although Id been by it many times, never did the whole experience. It was amazing! We learned so much about glass, and the glass blowing craft. I found it very inspiring.

Not kid friendly or family accommodating.We attempted to visit this studio twice to view glass blowing. The visit was disappointing. I agree with the salesperson, if you want your children to see and learn about glass blowing visit Ziemke!

All I can say is U MUST GO.....an be prepared to be blownaway...lol...pun intended.....Rhodes guys r masters of their craft an u can stand rite there w them as they blow an explain the whole process to u....bought myself a window ball an 4 gorgeous glasses.....

Cool to watch but very expensive

We were able to sit there and watch him create a glass bowl! Very interesting to watch, plus he kept us informed as to what he was doing and why and how he was doing it.

The owner was very kind and they have serious skills with the sculptures they create the owners dog was hanging around looking for attention but super cool vibe here they even have some deals on sculptures that have slight imperfections that does not take from the beauty of the piece so look for one of those if you can

They make great stuff and we love going back here.
