Troll Beach

Clean and maintained. But have to get out every hour for 15 min (which is probably a good thing but seems excessive to have every hour). Not as big as expected for the price. Kids that cant swim have to stay in a very shallow area. Deeper area requires a swim test and you cannot wear a vest if you can swim or not (in the deep area).

Had a great time at the Stoughton K9 Dog Swim! Perfect for beginner dog swimmer.

Fun and reasonably priced place to splash. Great hybrid of pool, beach, bouncy park. Make sure you bring your pooch to the dog swim K9 fundraiser on the last day! See Officers Ole and Chad!

For being in Wisconsin where you can never count on the weather. Troll Beach was a really nice place where friends and family can gather and enjoy their day with activities, parties, receive swimming certification all with water and a sandy beach. I would recommend Troll Beach to friends and family alike.

This might be a bit biased, because I almost always rate everything 5-star, but this is defiantly worth it. Ever since they the inflatable slide and obstacle course (which is slowly deflating), this has been a fun mini beach. Yes, I say beach. Want to live north and still have a beach (with working sand), this is your opportunity.

Friendly staff, they offer hourly swim tests, good prices, and its local.

Very clean and a fun place for the kiddos. It does get crowded at times.

Quite smaller than expected with very few inflatables. Still had lots of fun with 4 slides. Deep end test was double the length of the YMCA one, keep that in mind. Totally worth it.

It was a nice place the only down side is thebswim test is a bit to far out for the little kids today i saw a kid tey to take the swim test and he almost drown thank lord he made it

A hidden gem in the area. I wish I wouls have found this place at the beginning of summer instead of the end. They have huge inflatables that are fun for all ages.

We love Troll Beach. The is the best outdoor pool around, and you just simply cannot beat the price. The water is cool without being too cold, the sandy beach-like entrance adds to the experience, and the inflatables are simply fun fun fun! The kids love this park. It feels like youre actually at a small lakefront beach.What I like best about Troll Beach are the lifeguards. There are 4 or 5 of them on the side of the beach at all times, rotating frequently so they stay focused. They blow their whistles when they need to and let the kids play when they dont.Bring your own lawn chairs, as there arent enough to go around on the busiest of days. You can easily set up a chair in the sun or the shade. There are a few bit trees that provide for some shade.My only disappointment: no wifi for those of us who arent in the water.

We buy a family season pass here every year. Its an awesome place to take the kids for the afternoon. Water is ok, lifeguards to help watch the kids for safety, food stand, dressing rooms. Only thing that stops me from 5 stars is the hours (no evening or morning hours) and they close too early for the season end. Run by the city so its funding and resources in sure, but wed love to use it more!!

I just took my grandkids there today, ages 8, 6, 5 and 3! We all had a blast! The 8 and 6 year old successfully passed the swim test to be on the large inflatable items! Hours of fun! The little ones loved the small slides and playing in the sand! The lifeguards were friendly and attentive!Even the ice cream bars were affordable!Loved it!

Arrived an hour before they closed on a very hot day, the water was green, warm and the sandy bottom was slimy. My swimsuit was black and white but the white part became black from the water...it was disgusting. I would never recommend this pool to anyone.Drive the extra 20 minutes to Edgertons public pool, its much cleaner and cheaper too

Fun place, they keep downsizing,they make everyone get out of the water every hour now, they stopped playing music, downsized the obstacle course, took out the diving board but an inexpensive place to take the kids to swim.

Fun family time, great for a birthday party! Much different than the mud hole of my youth!

They claim the water is City fed and they put chemicals and dyes in it it is nothing but a big mud pit filled with water no shaded area to sit in the sand is Rocky and the water is murky ankle-deep mud sludge when you walk in and fyi Christie colvett so much for no fish almost died

Great places with lots of things to do. You cant ware life jackets and the lifeguards are not good. They dont say anything when there are too many kids on the equipment. Prices are good.

I went here when it was called the mud hole and I love how blue the water is. The large slide is fun and the price is perfect.

Fun our first time with a 13yr 6yr4 year old they all had a good time enough variety of water features for them not super big but great for our family

Hate it never going back. You can only have life vest in the shallow. One of the lifeguards told my sister that she couldnt walk in the water past the buoys and her feet were covered by the water.

Great little private pond beach. Water is treated like a pool.
