This park has some lovely views along the Willimantic River. Just up Merrow Rd over the bridge crossing the river, right turn on Riverside Drive, at the corner is another lovely trail which goes north on the river. Combine the two for a nice outing.

Great trail, has a paved loop and an extension into the forest. The forest section is a little run down, but fun nevertheless.

This park is very well maintained and provides a great place for a brisk walk. The first section is a paved loop that isnt too long or arduous, yet still has great views of a beautiful meadow and a flowing river. For people who seek a longer walk, there are forested trails that lead alongside the river; however, these are more hilly and the terrain is more rough and rocky. The trails here even connect to other areas, providing for even more fun; it is possible to walk all the way to route 44 from this park. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the spirit of adventure in them and an appreciation of nature.

Wonderful, easy walk along the Willimantic River. Lots of birds. Not crowded. Wide, paved walkways on much of the trails for the handicapped. Highly recommended for all!

Nicely maintained walking trails by the river. One main paved loop, and another trail that goes through the woods. Nice spots to fish in the river. Good place to see small wildlife like rabbits, fish, frogs and birds.

Nice meadow park with a walking path. The main circular path is paved but there are spurs which are unpaved. There is also a USGS river height gauge on the Willimantic river which boarders the park. There is a stair path to the river, which could be used to launch a kayak (or other small hand carried boat). In the late evening (just before dusk), the bugs can be fierce, but earlier in the day the bugs are not bad.
