Lorraine Park

Plenty of parking with access to the walking/cycling trail, mountain bike trails and equestrian trail. A nice playground for the kids, and clean restrooms that are well maintained and unlocked daily. Also a bonus that the sheriffs department frequently visits the park.

Its really small, but it has a nice view of the river, it has restrooms, and its a part of a PATH trail network, which is apparently the main reason it exists.

Very nurturing exploring the universal creations of God, Actually. The Monastery avenger via old covered wooden bridges, and the attention of the parks and recreation employees and Rockdale Law Enforcement present, Great Job.

Nice place fairly new. We have been a few times, nice scenery.

Good little park to get on the Rock Creek trail or as a rest stop if you are going a longer distance

Easy to access. Trails are better for bikes or roller blades. The trail is secluded for most of the way. There is a loop that is good for walking.

Very serene and uncrowded. Several lookout points over the river which the nature trail follows. The upkeep of the park is definitely a plus along with clean restrooms.

Great trails either way you go. Quiet, peaceful, not many people except some bikers. People even bring their canoes and ride the river. I choose to ride on one wheel.

I brought mt family here for the first time and I enjoyed it we parked and walked to the Monserty and tracked back....it was definitely a hike. but it was a nice family walk.

Really nice park for walking/running, biking, etc..the trail leads to the monastery or South Rockdale Park..one of the cleanest park bathroom Ive ever used..Grab an exercise buddy & give it a try...Highly recommend..

Easiest way to my destination

Beautiful trails for walking, running and biking. It connects to the rockdale river trail which also has some hiking trails as well as mountain bike trails of different levels you can try. Just make sure you take some water because the trail is long but if you are looking for scenery and peacefulness this is definitely the park for you!

Cement paved trail from here to the Monastery! Moderately hilly, some sun, occasional shade, nearby traffic noise is fairly constant so not a wilderness experience, but still nice for a local walk or bike ride.

Clean and nice. More of an extension of a path than an actual park.

Nice quiet park right off the highway. Great place to look for river glass.

Nice trail, river has a sandy beach that u can walk on it, my dog loved it.

Quiet and secluded. Well maintained waking areas. Not too much litter.

Great for kids theyve got girls there and picnic tables you can get access to the water and you can take your bicycles theyve got a trail that 6.7 miles long

I walk here very often and just love it! Just dont get caught in the dark on this trail...lol Surrounded by woods. Such a peaceful place to walk.

Great walking trails! Just know the trails do j9t circle around! You will need to make a stopping point and go back or else you will end up at another park...miles away!

Absolutely fantastic! Very pretty, very nice setting. You can walk all the way to the monastery from Lorraine Park. Its very very nice. Im going to be going back again soon. Oh and theres some pretty decent Pokemon if youre into Pokemon go.

Great for a stroll, running or a brisk walk. You see nature all around.

Nice clean quiet environment

Wonderful place to go for a walk

More so of a stopping area along a walking/bicycling trail. Not a lot of activities nor seating for families. But if your looking for an area to go for biking thats near by, its a great area to park, unload, & take off along the trail.

I loved this trail so.much I got lost on it and had to GPS my way back to my car! Lol its peaceful, beautiful and a lot to take in with the sites. I enjoyed every minute of my time which was 2hrs or so lol but it was well worth it. Enjoy the veiw!
