Its nice to go watch a movie there, absolutely love the recliner seats as always plenty of snacks to munch on.like most things in life its whats on the inside that counts the parking lot was a little packed and the outside of the building looks a little rugged but the inside was clean and well kept. Cant wait to go back

Ok. I think that they dont know that if you have premier member card, you should be the next one in turn. Well we have to wait 3 people before us, and in the 4 was the guy in line who give us the turn. The employee didnt bother to say anything. So why pay for the premier card if in AMC Stillwater does not give the special treatment that we suppose to have??Better movie theater than before but they dont have cozy chairs. They should have designate chairs like in the other theaters.

For the price it isnt worth it and Im very allergic to cleaning supplies and all furniture was very wet when I went in had to use a napkin to dry it off so that I wouldnt itch whole time

Before the remodel, I didnt enjoy visiting the theater what-so-ever. It was cramped, uncomfortable and nearly impossible to find good seating at.While the prices have gone up, AMC has improved the place a lot including the ability to pre-select your seating, purchasing food and snacks, and even enjoying reclining seats as well as heated back warmers in the chairs.The screens are the only thing that could be updated as well due to them seeming worn out since the Carmike days. Still, a major upgrade and highly recommend giving the new showrooms a whirl.

Weve been here 5 times since they became AMC, and it is such an improvement. I love the chairs, they recline and have heaters. The movies themselves have had no problems! It does cost a bit more than an average theater, but it is definitely for a reason! The food and drinks are always good too. They are always clean as well. They also have reserved seating, so you dont have to worry about fighting for a good seat when you get inside

Lots of really great changes have happened to this theater. Particularly enjoy the select a seat options and cool new chairs. As always refreshments are pricey but the options have multiplied.

This theatre has improved significantly since the remodel! Comfortable seats, cleaner than it has been in years and a bar if you would like a drink! Good atmosphere as well.

This place did amazing job on the updates from last time we been here. The seats were good size where you arent crammed together and they reclined. Also have the option to heat the seats if your cold. The heat part works really good. My kids tried it. Only thing is the price of food is little much but thats always the deal with movie theater food. We will definitely be back for family outing.

Would only go to okc for movies until recently when we decided to give this theater another shot. Visited twice in the past couple months. Its getting better. Still have issues with audio and video. Video screen flickered and looked like the screen was dirty. Seats are comfortable. They are both heated and can recline. Bar has been closed on both occasions.

I hadnt been to the theater in Stillwater for many years, but heard about the renovations AMC had done and decided to try it out. What a huge difference from the old Carmike days! The heated, spacious, reclining seats make it worth actually going to the theater again. The AMC app is great for buying tickets ahead of time and I love being able to pick out my seats. Sure, everything is a little on the expensive side, but its well worth treating yourself occasionally. We tried the gourmet caramel corn, too, and it was fantastic.

AMC has gotten so much better, the seats are heated and recline. The food is pretty expensive so eat before you go. But all in all its a really good experience, :)

Holy moly. My dude and I went to see the Joker in November, it happened to be a really cold day--I am not kidding it was SO cold in there. They didnt turn their heat on. I could literally see my breath. Other than that, it was a nice establishment. I suggest wearing layers!

It was our first time at the movies with the new seating. That was very nice. My husband said with these seats we will be here more often for sure! I used the heated part in the seats all movie long since I freeze in the theater. It was very clean and the people that worked there were so kind and friendly!!! Brittney was awesome!!

Since the majority of issues I had during my last visit with AMC were with concessions, Ill focus my review on that. There were three employees working the concession stand so my group and I didnt have to wait too long. The employee we had the privilege of being served by was a young man named Brandon. Simply put he was extremely rude and disrespectful. After serving the couple in front of us Brandon began to, for lack of a better term, flailing his right arm. We figured he was stretching his arm or something so my group and I continued to wait until we were called upon. Brandon then began jumping up and down while still flailing his arm; not morioning towards us, not even looking at us, just extending his right arm directly out to his side and then flailing it back behind his head while jumping in place. One of the other employees finally informed us of his intent by letting us know that Brandon was ready for the next customer. The employee also made an apologetic expression as if he was sorry for Brandons behavior. No big deal, maybe Brandon is deaf. Nope just a jerk. What followed was probably one of the the rudest interactions with a service employee I have ever had. Knowing that my buckets were 4 days past I told Brandon that I would like to trade them in for new ones, like I have every year. We dont have any. Okay, no big deal. I said that it was fine and asked if I could just use my old ones since AMC didnt have any yet. No, its 2020 and those are 2019. Thank you Captain Obvious! A simple, Im sorry sir, I cant do that. Wouldve been fine, but I guess he wanted to make sure that I understood just how much disdain he had for patrons. As if the disgusted look on his face during our whole interaction wasnt enough. At this point if I hadnt been with my group I wouldve just walked out, but we came for a movie, so we were going to see one. Brandon then asked if we had out tickets. I turned around and asked if I had missed the ticket box (not being sure since they havent sold tickets from one for the longest time). You get them here. What do you want? Wow! Customer service at its best. He then asked me where we wanted to sit. This was a new change. He pointed to a screen in front of the register and told me to pick our seats. I tapped the screen and Brandon informed me, Its not a touch screen. You tell me and I put it in. A little irritation at this is expected since Im sure Brandon probably has to inform multiple customers every day of this. The issue was his continued disrespectful tone and attitude throughout whole our interaction. After paying, he mumbled out the auditorium number, gave us our items so we could begin preparing our concessions ourselves (I have never been a fan of this change.) There was no signage to let you know which movies were playing in which auditorium. Other than the screen being dirty the auditorium looked clean. One of the members of our party returned to the concession stand to grab few more items. They returned with a $20 burnt pretzel and some cinnamon/sugar pretzel bites that they stated didnt really have any cinnamon or sugar and were mostly just bread with served with a cup of frosting. I understand that people have bad days, but if you cant function in a customer service role, then get with your supervisor and have them find you a better suited position. The main point of this review is to make sure that management is aware of Brandons behavior towards their (AMCs) patrons and hope that they can remedy this issue, not only for the patrons but for the other employees that he represents.

Movie theaters have certainly changed. It is very comfortable to watch a movie. It is rather costly but at least it is family entertainment.

There is a bar in here now and nice reclining seats with heat I picked just a digital movie highly recommended

The new seats were not well thought out. The seat in front (if not reclined) covers the screen a bit. I was able to enjoy the movie but I had to sit stright up the entire time.They went for luxury and stopped at mediocre. The food however is suprisingly tasty and every thing else I give a 5 star rating on.

The movie was terrific! The popcorn was excellent but the new seating hurt my back.

Im in favor of theaters that keep the doors open when movies on giant screens at home have become so cheap and accessible. But for that same reason, this place has the feel of something scaled back and deconstructed. Its apparently a skeleton crew handling all ticketing and concessions from one counter. There is still nothing like movie watching in an actual theater though, and I wish these places still took pride in the true cinema experience, rather than offering an unspoken apology with your receipt-tape ticket. Sometimes you see boxes stacked in the lobby, and the floor is usually in need of vacuuming. I realize operation costs must be minimized, but friendly smiles take no extra time, and between movie slots, employees to-do lists could probly be better managed. Although, If Im being honest, despite any lacks, Id MUCH rather have it this way than none at all!

Seats are awesome. Inside looks nice. There was no signs or posters telling you which theater is your movie in the hallway though.

I can walk around topless but can’t see a rated R movie without someone who is 21. I’m 20 years old. Definitely don’t recommend unless you’re over age.

The theatre our movie was shown in was very nice. Carpet and chairs seemed new or very well maintained. Floors were very clean even though it was an evening show time.

Since AMC bought out the Carmike theater, the renovations have been outstanding. Each theater has heated, reclining seats and larger screens. Screens are still smaller than major city movie theaters though, hence the 4 stars. For a small town, I cant believe we have such an excellent theater.

Best theater in the area. I drive from ponca city because if is a far superior theater than the one in ponca city. The only way to get better is to drive somewhere like Tulsa or Oklahoma City. More comfortable and more state of the art systems there than the one in ponca. They also have later showings. Ponca usually only has one showing and doesnt normally have a late showing that I usually prefer. Good concession stand and comfortable seating. Cleaner and in better shape than ponca. Make the drive its worth it.

I was skeptical at first. Having to choose a seat, then you get in there and find your seat amongst snot-nosed people who talk and squirm, then I hear of people getting arrested for switching seats?! But if you go to an unpopular movie on an unpopular night its not bad. Its cleaner than the old theater. It is dark in there so it took several attempts before I could work the seats. The first time, I got trapped in my seat because it is easy to set it going by accident. Then when the movie was over I had to jump out of this folded up seat. The latest time, I learned to manipulate the seat control but still accidentally turned on the heat. Yes, the seats have heaters. Im not sure thats necessary? Really, its not necessary, neither is the bar. Yes, theres a fully stocked bar. This is all pretty crazy and I imagine someone will get arrested eventually. The saving grace of this theater is Craig Hannon. He is polite, and accommodating. He explains things very well. He is a testament to the good in this industry. I will return because Craig makes it a very pleasant and normal experience.

I had a great experience on 1/1/20. There is plenty of roon between the rows. The seats recline. The arm rest goes up between every other seat to turn it into a loveseat. Each seat has 1 cupholder. Cost is comparable to other movies. It was $55 for 3 of us to get adult tickets, 1 large popcorn, and 2 large drinks -- that was with a student ID. Picture was clear and sound was good. Im looking forward to going again, but movies out are a luxury and I do it about once a year.

Dont know what theaters most of these people went to. The new set up in Stillwater is the most ignorant set up I ever saw. Tickets and concessions at the same time. It added 20 minutes to our in line wait. There was less than 15 people in front of us. I dont use the concession and usually get a ticket and go right to our seat. We almost missed the first part of the movie. Wont go back. The new seats were fantastic but the initial frustration ruined it for me

The AMC Classic is being renovated. Once the renovations are completed the AMC Classic will be greatly improved. The management should consider offering a discount on ticket prices during the renovation period.

Much Better!!!Bar Now Open!This was always a pretty low rent theater when Carmike ran the place. However, they have started remodeling under AMC. The new recliner seats are fantastic and with the reserved seating system you get a guaranteed good seat without waiting in line. Also now that the bar is open you can get a stronger drink for your movie if you want.They still need to update the technology side of the theater with new screens, projectors, and maybe sound systems. I was told by one of the workers that more updates are on the docket.The service is almost always great, the hiring manager does a good job getting quality people.Overall, this is now a great little theater and I fully expect to raise it to five stars once the technology upgrades have arrived.

A theater that consistently does the absolute minimum. Huge lines for concessions and tickets due to lack of employees. Counters, floor, and employees were filthy. Screens have visible spots on them and the sound is never calibrated correctly. The entire establishment smelled of popcorn and B.O.I will never, ever spend my money in this trash hole of an establishment again.

Decade old building. Bought from the previous company. Slap AMC up there but still the same screens and seating and audio. . And you get $10 + ticket fees and then a concession Lobby with $4 Waters $8 large sodas $6 candies and $5dollar popcorn most people never finish probably wont even finish. 15$ for a ticket in Oklahoma sounds high but big cities already pay that or more. But charge that for tickets and lower snack prices. Would feel better than paying $5+ for a medium soda. Therss a reason every couple walking in have drinks and snacks in the womans purse. All that makes driving to tinsel town to see your most anticipated movie because the ticket is cheaper but the seating and screen quality is way better

It was great its been over 5 years since Ive went to the theater. What I love about it is that were able to pay inside rather than standing out in the cold & most of all great view & good snacks too. Keep it up ...

Im not sure about the other auditoriums but auditorium 1 was freezing cold the entire time. Its also clear that the theater was not cleaned in between showings. Lastly, I paid online but no one verified that I bought a ticket. I guess I couldve simply walked in and caught a free movie! AMC usually has higher standards at their other locations but this one is just sad.

1917 was a masterwork of cinematography and AMC hosted that experience well.

The quality of the atmosphere doesnt match the price of tickets. The renovations help, but there was a bright light on in the entry that remained on for the entire movie. The light was so bright it casted shadows. There is still room for improvement.

Nice/Comfy and Clean Movie Theatre!

This is a business that knows people will show up to watch a movie, regardless of the condition/appearance of the place, because enough customers cannot drive to Tulsa or OKC for a better experience.I walked in for a 3 pm matinee and was not surprised to see the floors looking like it had been days since they were swept. The counter employee that scanned my tickets looked like he gone the same number of days since bathing.It took a few tries to find a seat clean enough that I would suffer sitting in it for the movie.If you have the means, it is well worth your time to drive somewhere else for a more enjoyable experience.

Newly remodeled and the seats are amazing .. they recline and heat.. food and drinks overpriced but its a theater so its expected.. great employees and clean everywhere I look. Want a cool thing to try on the freestyle soda machine? Press regular Sprite then with one finger do three dots in a pyramid shape on top right coner.. if it doesnt work the first time keep doing it .... let me know if it works

Great experience, theater was big and comfortable seats, restroom and theater well taken care of. It didnt smell great but it was at the end of the day so youd figure it wouldnt smell great. But, it was a fun time.

Really enjoyed the movie (Scary Stories) and the atmosphere, however the constant talking and commentary behind us by other movie goers was an issue. Movie theater 5 stars, rude patrons 0 stars.

I have been trying to reach this theatre for a week and they absolutely refuse to answer their phone. It is an important matter and I live outside of town, absolutely unacceptable.

Normally I would be giving this theater a single star, if that, but this last visit it was the cleanest I had ever seen it! I would still pick any movie theater over this one if there was competition in Stillwater but it seems like they are somewhat trying now to keep the place decently comfortable. The biggest complaint was our movie was slightly out of focus but compared to the usual problems, this was acceptable.

Decent theater. Dont like the fact that the ticket line is also the food line. If all you want is a ticket to watch a movie, you have to wait awhile as people get their food and tickets at the same time.

Easy, helpful andriendly Service. I started using Movie Pass, was having trouble using. The Staff were very patient and helpful while I was trying to redeem/confirm my movie ticket purchase. Theater was clean, easy to find the right showing room, seats and bathroom. It was just an early show, during the week, so it wasnt loud or crowded. But, it was kept chilly in the screening room, as most theaters seem to do.

I went there to watch a movie about a year ago and it was good but then I went there a couple of weeks ago and it was even better they got new seats in and theyre heated when you want them to be LOL but they recline awesomely so it was even better experience than it was the last time that I went but it was really fun I had a great time

Went in tonight too see a movie had to leave because apparently even though its not posted anywhere on the building or site even when we were purchasing our tickets, even when the money was accepted apparently kids cant see zombieland 2 after 6 pm. Now I have too wait 48 hours at the most for money to return to my account.

We went to see a movie on the opening weekend of it and they only had a total of 2 people on staff. We got there 10 minutes before the movie was supposed to start and waited in line for 20 minutes! The theatre is clean, usually a bit warm, but always a nice facility. On Sunday with a church crowd they should be more staffed not only for their customers but because the 2 people running the show couldn’t even take their break or lunches (i over heard them discussing it) because there isn’t anyone else there.

The service is okay. The movie experience is good. The thing I hate about this place is they dont even show the movies long enough! Maybe a week for most films and then they pull it!I want my Carmike theater back!!

I would really like to see some Cheeto popcorn like the Warren has. Be a really good thing.

We are so lucky to have a movie theater in our town so that our families can enjoy all of the new movies. The people at the theater work hard to make it a good time for the family.

Seats arent very roomy

Expensive but better after the remodel. Much cleaner, and nice recliners. I like good sound, but blasted out in theatre 10....way to loud, left with headache. Beware that the sound can really vary beyond quality depending on who is working/setting the volume! A few people mentioned it made the movie not as good since it took away from comfort!

Its getting better. The floor was mopped, and the employees were much friendlier last week! Sound was turned down until the actual previews started--much appreciated!

Go to the Brady in Tulsa if you want a real movie experience. This place is the only place in Stillwater to hop out to a movies, but it has unfortunately not improved in quality over the years. If you have the time to plan a weekend outing, you can do better. Really hope they decide to put some money into this place in the near future.

AMC was clean and inviting. The employees were friendly. They were not short staff, which is nice. So you didnt have to wait in line long.

This theatre needs updated so badly. A nice, big theatre would do really well in Stillwater so I’m not sure why they haven’t built one yet!

They changed it and apparently you have to pick your seat before you go into the theater. We walked out. That has got to be the most ridiculous thing. I like to choose when I go in there. That way Im not sitting next to a parent that thinks their 2 year old is an angel. Overreacting? Maybe. I pay my money I should sit where I want.
