I love the fact that there are a lot more auditoriums at this theater. I went for the first time after the lock down and I have to say I was sadly very disappointed by the popcorn which I had always told everyone they had the best. I would have also given 5 stars if they had more auditoriums than just the IMAX that had reclining seats. I guess I got spoiled at the other AMC theaters.

I have been going to this complex since it opened, and I love how they have improved the overall movie going experience for everyone! The kids love the selection of soda and free refills, and I love the fact I can grab an ice cold IPA while watching a flick! Nice job, AMC

We paid $50.00 for 2 adult tickets, 1 large drink, and 1 large popcorn. Zero seasonings for popcorn other than salt and butter, and no refills on the drink.$50? Seriously? We will not be returning until prices are back to normal.

Great Dolby Movie theatre! The movie Sonic was awesome!! PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS!!!Seats were very comfy and close together so our family could sit together!!

AMC Forum 30 was cool, but to be honest, I thought it would be a better theatre. Seats were small and didnt recline, no extra seasonings for popcorn, and Im a mix a bunch of flavors in my drink type of person- but something from the pop machine definitely was just water. Nothing too crazy to totally ruin my movie experience, but small things that I appreciate from the theatre were missing

The theater is clean and well kept. The employees are friendly. The prices are the same as their competitors. No reclining seats. Maybe they shouldnt be trying to push overpriced food ( burgers, mac and cheese) at the concession stand and invest in upgrading their seats. Madison Heights AMC has reclining seats. If I want food Ill go to one of restaurants by the theater either before or after the show.

I’m big into reward points and programs. If possible I try to pick a service provider and stick with them and earn as many rewards and perks as I possibly can. With that being said, I travel frequently around the country and AMC theaters are usually in every location, which is convenient. When my wife and I go to the movies, it almost ALWAYS an AMC theater!

The movie theater was OK. I been to more modern ones with the recliners. I been to other movie theaters that had better prices and deals during the day. The only positive I can think of is that they play movies that other theaters seem not to have interest in. So I give them kudos for that!

I loved the courtesy of staffs here .. sound system was not that good but satisfactory. Overly priced food and pop corns. 7.50$ for pop corn is too too much.

The AMC A-List is an amazing service. For $20.00 a month, you can see 3 movies a week. I would like to see all of the theaters move into the Signature Recliners and of course the food if overpriced, but I enjoy this theater.

I used to love coming here when I was younger and it was one of the new places, however my most recent visit gives me the impression that they are due for a refresh. Most local theaters currently are offering powered recliner seats, and they also have bars if you want a drink. I was happy that I was able to but tickets and pick seats online, but when I showed up I expected that the seats would be nicer.

Hi, the staff at the ticket counter was helpful, I booked atom ticket for first time to watch movie KGF so I thought again there would be a ticket given, so she told you could directly enter the theatre and get the qr code scanned. Also watched Aquaman, the premises were neatly maintained and they also showed which way to go for the screen. Good parking space available.

If youre looking for a charming old arthouse theatre showing a few indie films AMC Forum 30 isnt it. But if youre looking for the latest blockbuster or a wide selection of films and nearly endless capacity youve come to the right place. Just about my only critique is that ever since they changed the way the (non-popcorn) food works to a ticketed pickup system it takes forever when theyre busy so be prepared for that.

While there were no lines to get our tickets and the ticket takers were quite pleasant the snack bar left a lot to be desired.There was no one in line we went to the register where the cashier had just left to deliver items to the previous guests. Another cashier walked up and went to a different register and asked can I help whos next. Ok we assumed the previous cashier would come help us. To our amazement he went to a different register and asked for another customer! I said hello are we invisible? You have now helped 2 other customers while we have been standing here waiting. The cashier to our left tells the cashier to our right, that should have come back to the register we were at, to assist us next. So we thought we would be next. Then as she finished up with her customer (before the other cashier) She asks for the next people in line. Im astonished! Then I say wouldnt that be us?!!! So she relunctly says yes sure.The movie was good but I good hear the noise from the movie playing next door too.

Very well organized and clean ambience all through the building. The concessions also have a wide variety of food choices. The restrooms were extremely clean and very well maintained. The seats are OK not he very best in terms of comfort and space on the armrest. The drinks holder doesnt hold the beverage cup that is provided for the drinks purchased at the theatres concession stand! Because of these couple of reasons, I may holding giving the 5th star!

Really expensive for popcorn & a drink. Just WOW! But- my grandson 1st time ever- so it was worth it. Next time Im going to pack up like most of the ladies did. Good heavens

Best AMC in Metro Detroit! Possibly the best theatre in the area. Always clean, theater wise. Fresh popcorn, good screens and sound. All the movies. Fantastic movie experiences await you at this location! A++

Very nice cinema, especially the fairly new Dolby theater that has recliners and incredible audio that really adds to the movie experience; only negatives are that some of the theaters have older seating and the prices are a little higher than competitors

The theaters rooms are small and they have not been upgraded to the reclining seats. They have a lot of concession options, though. I’m giving it two stars because it’s a mostly nice theater, but you could hear the other movies playing during the movie we were watching. It was loud enough to be mistaken as part of the movie in the theater you were in.

Nice decor, clean and nice workers. The theatre seats were very uncomfortable. If they changed the seats, this would easily become my favorite theatre.

The theater is nice and well maintained. The number of screens allows all current features to be shown even those in limited release. Discount Tuesdays are a great deal.

Our family loves the AMC and have for years!!!! The chairs are a little slim but Im super comfy in them just as in complaining with mjr. The Dolby theater is a little pricey for a matinee on a Saturday for a family of seven tickets were $90. Soda and snacks (nothing crazy) where a cost of $76. I prefer the 3D but I was out voted on this one. no matter what you pick whether its a 3D movie Adobe movie or just a regular old fashioned movie youll be happy with AMC.

Coming from Mound traveling North, make a Michigan left at Citizens Bank and drive past Walmart. The theater is behind the shopping center, can be hard to see if the weather is snow or rain. The seats are comfortable even though they dont recline. Lots of choices at the snack bar, tenders, Mac, hot dogs, nachos. The bathrooms were clean.

To many people allowed to bring their small children into a late night movie especially inappropriate movies. Every time Ive went there my husband and I had this issue! Also their concessions are so much more pricey that emagine to me. Like emagine much better. Better atmosphere, prices, and seats.

Average movie theater. Nothing special. It is older so it could need a renovation and needs better seats and needs an interior design upgrade. Service is average nothing special.

I came to see Bohemian Rhapsody and had a great time! The theater itself and the restrooms were really clean. The food was also hot fresh including the popcorn. I also love that there are different options for the pretzel bites!! The employees were all very friendly and helpful as well. I had not been to this theater in a long time but now I definitely will be back.

Huge place, clean, ticket prices are great for matinees. There are a lot of Fathom events there. Make sure to bring a car payment just to cover a popcorn pop and pizza. Seats are comfy. Havent had a bad experience there in the entire time its been open. Nice clean bathrooms. The theaters are huge the sound is great.

Saw the anime film Weathering with you and it was absolutely beautiful! It wasnt dubbed and surprisingly it didnt take away from the gorgeous film and truly unique story of love.

Yesterday I went and saw a movie here but I accidentally left my jacket behind. This morning I drove over to the theater to see if they were open/had a lost and found. When I got there, I saw an employee walking in and I asked her if they had a lost and found in which she responded with yes, they do. I asked if she would be able to go look inside for my jacket real quick and her response was “are you going to pay me my hourly rate? If not, then come back at 12:30” The pure selfishness and lack of compassion is the reason I will never come back to this theater.

This place is in need of some love, cant say Ive been in one screening room recently that doesnt have a busted chair or two in it. However, the prices are decent, and great selection of movies.

Pretty big! Dolby and Real 3D are awesome! They also play Indian movies, although they’re played with the most ordinary experience of the lot- but it’s still better than Southfield.Not sure why AMC IMAX seats have no recliners and not even a 5 degree recline.

Its alright. Appeasing to look at in general but they dont have the nice comfy seats like at Emagin or MJR which was pretty disappointing. You can also hear the music from the connecting theater while watching your movie so it makes parts of the movie a little awkward. They didnt have any popcorn seasoning options either. More effort was put into the aesthetics of the building than quality experience.

Both self-serve kiosks were broken and the two ticket people could not keep up. Normally we pre-purchase tickets, but AMC charges a high service-fee for this option. MJR theaters do not charge a fee for online purchase.

This is good place. It is having more than 10 screens. Also, they have special price for morning shows.

Nice theater. Went to a matinee to kill a few hours. We were the only ones in the showing and the equipment malfunctioned. The manager comped the original tickets. Then told us to watch anything else we wanted. The place was clean and well maintained.

Big place with big crowds on Friday evening. Long line for concessions but moves fast. Nice place.

The employees are amazing. Great customer service. Had an issue that was my fault and the (assumed) manager took care of it without a hassle or a bad attitude. In addition, he stayed calm while super busy and simultaneously helped a lady figure out she went to the wrong theater auditorium. Also, the Dolby Cinema screen and chairs are great. Really hard to go back to non recliners afterwards.

I drive an hour and half to see bollywood movie once a month actually. But it is great that they always play international movies and staff has been wonderful all this time. Keep playing bollywood movies.

They had poor customer service, dont offer a regular combo or couples combo. Also if they have assigned seating the dont follow through the seating chart. Also with a theater this big they should have more staff throughout the theater and have more than just one concession stand open. Definitely will not be going back worst experience ever.

Pricey, but its a movie theater. Good popcorn and they have a wide variety of movies to show. I do not like their seats and they need to change them to recliners.

The lights on wall in the movie theatre need to be dusted. Long cobwebs hanging off all of them and on the walls. Makes you wonder how they clean in there..

Just tried their Dolby Theatre. AMAZING sound and shaking seat effects. Much better than a standard digital screen. Worth the extra cost for sure.

This is my go to theater for Dolby Video and IMAX. I love that I can see these premium shows with my A-List membership.

I havent been to this location in years, however had vouchers to use toward a movie. We didnt realize that it was a 3D movie and was able to get a refund from Eric at the customer service desk for a later time, but for a regular showing. We went to the concessions and the soda area was overflowing with trash. This place is filthy when you look around. The theater seats, the floors, the bathrooms, and the trash. We wont be back.

I HATE THIS THEATER! So poorly run, technology never works and now their garbage website took my credit card info and locked up. I don’t know if they charged my card or not.Then I get to the theater and the employees don’t know anything either. So I bought tickets from the theater and the were $4 cheaper than the AMC site. No I did not use fandango or any other 3rd party ticket site, I used AMC site.Then I go to the concession stand and they are out of what I wanted! That was the last straw, never coming to this theater again.

I went to see Gorillaz: Reject False Icons. This was a one night only affair. I have been use to the comfort of Emagine theatres. Going to this theater for this show proved that the AMC sorta outdated seating can still be relevant. I was able to sit towards the front of the theater without any neck whiplash. The bow out of the front rows helped with this. May revisit.

Every single employee was rude and made short unnecessary comments, concessions closed before we were even able to get food or drinks. Seats are EXTREMELY uncomfortable, you might as well sit in a roller coaster seat for 2 hours. Do not recommend what so ever.

I watched a movie last week and I bought seats in the Dolby cinema theater. The seats were nice, big and they reclined. The theater seats seemed clean. This week I watched a movie in their standard theater. The seats were comfy, they do not recline. Here is the problem, the seats were so dirty, I was not comfortable because of the dirty seats. I would be fine with non reclining seats if they were just clean. I was going to Emagine a lot until last week when I tried amc Dolby theater, which I enjoyed. That’s why I came back the 2nd time. I was expecting the nicer seats the 2nd time around. I will not come back to amc 30 standard theater. I would come back to the amc Dolby theater because it’s a lot like Emagine.

Call first if you require/prefer reclining seats.When I looked online, it states, “Reclining seats”. Not all of the theaters have reclining seats. This should have been stated as some people are not able to sit in one position for extended periods, some have to extend their legs up, etc., yet, are still entitled to enjoy a movie when it states reclining seats.Very frustrating when, had I known this, I could have called to avoid this.

Bathroom smelled like sewage, popcorn tasted horrible and the theater we were in didnt have reclining seat. Horrible experience all around.

The seats were uncomfortable, the cups barely fit in the holders, & the popcorn wasnt very good. The sound quality & picture were excellent though, so the movie viewing aspect of the experience was good.

This place is just SAD!! The ticket kiosks were out of order and only 1 clerk at window who felt it was her duty to explain a personal tour of the theater to each person she sold a ticket. We were 30 minutes in line and missed our movie!! We had to see a different movie! Came through the doors and went up to snack bar. The clerk at the snack bar promptly walked away to the back. No service, not even a word to us about getting in another line - awful awful service. Had to go to another register to buy popcorn. The chairs are definitely dated and narrow. We were 2 of the 4 people in the movie theater. Floors are in need of repair. Just sad. I would bet this plex is very expensive to operate. Too bad the company can’t get it together and either hire more help or fix this. Skip this theater!!!!!

Well its like a blast from the past. Its probably been about 20 years since Ive been there and I swear, the theater is exactly the same. Only thing different is, you can assign your own seats (which ever theatre does now a days). I dont think anythings been updated. I guess if you want to go to a true 1990s authentic theater, AMC 30 would be the perfect place to go.

I just very recently went to see the movie Ready or Not. No problems occured while I purchased my tickets or concessions. I went to my theatre room, and found everything clean amd up-to-date when it comes to the screen or volume of the movie. The floors were also recently cleaned. When I left, I was overall very pleasant with my experience at that theatre. Also, the movie was awesome ツ

Always playing the best movies seem to have the biggest selection in the area! They would get 5 stars if they updated their seats.

Theatre is well maintained for the most part. Staff is fine but there are no ushers and the seats were a bit crammed. The picture and the sound is great, though, and the popcorn is yummy. No blue icee, though.

Good theater, tons of screens. If you want to see something thats already left theaters theres a good chance that its still playing here. The seating is a bit older than some of the other theaters (no couples seating) but still comfortable. The theater also has special showings and sporting events that they show pretty regularly on the weekends.
