They do a great job of showing individual attention even within a group class. Pricing is very reasonable especially for the quality training they receive. Highly recommended!!

Been bringing my son here for years thought we finally got a decent coach but nope. Great place to keep your kids active and playing ball with friends but the coaches don’t teach them anything. The bathrooms are gross. The staff is nice. The concession kids nice. Super hot in this place all the time.

Greg Grants basketball program is outstanding. When my son started he was an 11 year old who had never played organized basketball. The coaches at Greg Grant are incredible. Over the past 3+ years they have not only taught him the skills to succeed on the court but have taught him the importance of hard work and dedication to his goals. They take a special interest in all of their players that you cant find elsewhere. There were times when they seemed as happy as he was when they worked on something and he finally got it. That is special. He actually looks forward to practices as much as the games. The registration process is easy and can be done online. They do a great job of assessing the teams to make sure the divisions are fair for all skill levels. They also have excellent camps during many of the school breaks and during the summer.

Come to Greg Grant and expect competition. Expect to push yourself to be a better player with the intense competition they have combining travel & house teams in the same league. I am currently a coach and part time employee at the facility and have never in my life seen such a developed and beneficial basketball training center. With that being said, be ready to work hard and get the most out of your experience. Skill level determines very little in the leagues compared to ability to learn and put forth effort and hustle, all of the reasons to love the game. Also, very very accessible.

Worked there for over a year and loved it. Greg Grant Basketball is a very nice and respectable place. Also in my high school years of varsity basketball I trained at the facility, when it first opened, and improved immensely. Summer leagues were my favorite, because of short seasons and more playing time. A tough coach but if you put in the work you will see the results. Different kinds of training depending on the players specialization; speed/agility, post camps, individual or team training, point guard training, etc. If your passion is basketball I will suggest this place for you.

I have had all three of my children play at Greg Grant Basketball and Training Facility for 3 years. They have played for house teams as well as school teams. We have had great success with both leagues. They really do try to put the kids up against other competitive teams, but it is not always possible. I have played in the over 18 and over 35 league as well and I can tell you after many years of playing basketball it is nice to play at a place where you dont have some of the trouble makers I have played with in the past. Like in any game, calls are missed, but the refereeing is much better than all of the other places the kids and I have played.

Greg Grants facility, philosophy, and staff are all 1st class. As a dad of 4 children him and his team have been a blessing to inspire my kids love for the game and talent. A lover of basketball I myself have enjoyed several seasons of his mens basketball league running up and down the courts in a great basketball atmosphere. If you are looking for league for your kids or yourself, a camp for your kids or some individual coaching I cant rate the experience high enough.

Very well maintained facility . Huge parking lot. Decent cafetaria to take care need for a quick bite. Few vending machines for water and sports drinks. Lots of matches happen during weekends. NBA standard size and quality Basket Ball courts. For agility and strength training, good facility is on second floor. Trainers are good and professional. My son has been training with Greg Grant as well as participating in the conditioning and strength training. Hes a freshman in high school and after training for several weeks, we can really see the difference in his skills, speed and strength not to mention his attitude. Greg truly cares about the kids and is passionate about getting them to the next level. Everyone respects him and his own personal accomplishments undoubtedly makes him an expert to train anyone in the game. The facility is impressive and easy to get to. I highly recommend Greg Grant Basketball and Training Center!

Id say be in tune with what coach you will get. The coach is a critical part of our kids learning. We got an 18 year old that was absolutely clueless about coaching. I am giving 3 (vs. 1) stars because they did at least get rid of her. She is no longer there, thankfully she moved on. I will say I felt bad though because hey she was young and probably wanted to grow from the experience. Maybe they could have helped her be a better coach? In addition find out if you can in advance what the practice and game days are. We ended up with an 8am Sunday morning practice. Umm... nope. There is no way Im driving 25 minutes to make an 8am practice on a Sunday.Id say that their process for choosing teams from the kids that come in with NO team, seems really fair BUT -- My daughters team got pummeled every single game. We were simply mismatched. I think if that happens they need to try and equalize. 40 to 8 each and every week does little for the self esteem. With that said its the best weve discovered to up my daughters game. So we are giving it another shot and hope the coaching is better vetted. I heard the churches (UPWARD) have a cool option we may look into that too. I9 we finally outgrew.I hope this helps and I hope that Mr. Grant gets re-inspired. There is a vibe of going through the motions. There is so much potential it seems a shame to not make this place Epic.

Very mismanaged facility. The refs are clueless! And the management is beyond rude and beyond not professional! The management is all about the money! They could care less about your child! The bathrooms are disgusting and you might even catch something from even walking into the restroom! Only reason they deserve even a one star rating is the young people working the concessions and the front desk are very nice! Total money grabber and a waste of your time even considering this place! Hold onto your money and take your child where THEIR the ones who it’s all about...teaching your child proper basketball etiquette!

This facility is a great place for players at all different skill levels. It provides an atmosphere that allows you to take your game to the next level and have fun while doing it. I am a product of Greg Grant Basketball and through training with Coach Greg Grant, I was able to earn a scholarship to play 4 years in college. Training with Coach Grant I learned not only how to become a better basketball player, but how to work hard and achieve goals. Greg Grant Basketball is THE premier training facility in the area, with trainers that have not only played the game but know how to teach the game. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking to learn how to play the game the right way. If you are willing to work hard and pay attention to the fundamental details your game will improve tremendously. I have a daughter that is a freshman in high school who wouldnt have the game she has today without the help of Greg and his staff. I look forward to continuing to watch her game improve over the course of the next few years.

Myself and my son attended a couple of the Basketball Skills Clinics offered. We live in Port Huron so it was about an hours drive. I was skeptical at first due to the clinics being only an hour long. How much could this guy really teach us in a hour? Surprisingly we both learned a lot! I was amazed at how he could get every child to grasp the skills he implemented in such a short amount of time! Coach Grant is hands down one of the best in the business! He has a way with the kids. He gives each child the individual attention needed. I was shocked at the response. After just minutes I noticed the improvements! After just 2 short hours I noticed the impact Coach Grant had on my son. Id definitely recommend him to everyone regardless their age or their skill level! Thank you Coach Grant well definitely be back!

Our son has played at Greg Grants and been taking classes for several years. I highly recommend them, Greg is great with the kids and well respected by them. We first started when our son didnt make the 7th grade team at his school and was devastated, we than began playing on the leagues and also taking classes the next year our son not only made the school team but has played on the starting lineup every year since. This week we had his school banquet when the coach called him up of many nice things he said about our son was the great finesse he showed when playing, also he has had several other coaches comment to him that they really like how our son plays. I 100% give credit to Greg and his staff for the awesome player our son has become.

Incredible Facility and Experience. I am a high school varsity coach and I send all of our players to Greg Grant Basketball for skills training and to join their AAU & league teams. They are focused on developing players in a positive atmosphere and that is what I like the most about it. They stay up to date with their drills and techniques to make sure that their athletes are all getting the best training available. Great environment for players on real full sized basketball courts and as a parent to enjoy watching the game in ample space on side court bleachers without having to walk through or in front of other games, or stuck watching in odd leftover corner space. Between leagues year round to competitive AAU opportunities, as well as available training options, this is ideal for players to engage in as much or as little as their passion for the game drives them.

Completely disgusted and disappointed with the refs this place hires. Today I thought my son was going to be making an ER visit and thank god he didn’t. These teams play dirty ball and these refs are garbage. Thankfully it’s only a goose egg and bruise right now who knows what tomorrow will bring. My son was on a break away and was shoved from behind. I understand this happens in basketball. The ref calls out of bounce and was standing right there. So yes I got hot but I walked off and cooledDown. Come back and at the end of the game the clown is laughing at me at the score table looking directly at me.real mature and professional. WillNot be back and will find an establishment that cares for these kids well being. Mind you my child is going into 6th grade. Still an elementary student. So so soDisappointed. Number 8 ref. There is no better place to train or be apart of a world class basketball club then Greg Grant Basketball. I have been apart of the club for more than six years and I am proud to represent the Greg Grant brand. People on the outside know that when they are playing against a GG team that its going to be a competitive game and a display of good sportsmanship. AAU basketball is not for everyone and can be frustrating for those players and parents who make the leap too early. For me, I loved my team with the club and I am proud to see my younger siblings representing as well.

Both of my children have trained with Greg individually, in small groups, played in the leagues and been coached by Greg at the AAU level. Regardless of the type and level of involvement each and every experience has been exceptional. My kids have loved the experiences and interactions with Greg and all of the staff. From personal experience, and being involved in coaching basketball for over 25 years, I can share that Gregs leagues are the best around. With 70 to 80+ teams at every session there are bound to be hiccups and a few disgruntled players/parents. It has been my experience and observation that issues are dealt with equitably and promptly. Greg does not foster or condone an environment or atmosphere that is not fair, fun or welcoming.I strongly recommend Greg Grant Basketball & Training Center for any player at any level of skill and development. Simply the best all around basketball facility.

My 12 year old son played approximately 3 minutes per game every game!!! So what did he learn at this training facility? He learned that if your not one of the BEST players on the team, youre not gonna play!! Coaches are a joke and have NO IDEA how to coach!! Greg Grant and his entire staff provide a safe, clean, and professional environment for a wide range of ages and talent to experience the game of basketball. Whether its very young children just learning the game, or high school athletes from around the metro area and beyond who compete at the highest levels. There are a variety of house leagues for almost every age and talent level in addition to high level AAU travel programs. The organization required to keep teams, players, refs, coaches, and parents on schedule to keep games moving is a daunting task. The GGBC Staff takes the responsibility of providing a safe and clean environment very seriously. You can imagine the very nature of players and parents in our uber-competitive youth sports culture who are upset about losing a game or letting the coach their childs playing time was unfair or disproportionate. Weve all seen parents become irrational over youth sports contests. Sometimes they dont even realize what they are doing or the way they are acting. That is why a responsible staff is critical to control order and keep games on schedule. Mayhem and foul language is not tolerated by the staff and there are zero exceptions. It is a Family First facility, supervised by professionals. Complaints are usually handled by staff members immediately. I give the staff lots of credit for the manner in which order is maintained. You will come to notice that the staff members have tenure and have been there for years. They are very good at what they do. And since the parents of young players come back year after year it underscores the value of the facility and the professionalism of the staff.

Greg Grants BB Facility is THE place to go to, to train your son or your daughter. My son is 66 tall. Played BB for Warren De La Salle. However, he really wasnt tough enough. Was timid on the BB court. Rode the bench, consequently. However, after putting Michael Stass in Coach Greg Grants Post Play Clinics for some one-on-one training, Greg toughened him up. BLUF: Michael held Kenny Goins of Michigan State Univ BB Team to only 6 points--when Warren Tower played DLS in the BB District Finals. Coach Esler, the Head Coach for DLS BB, said that he should have played Michael more. The Head BB Coach at West Point said to go get 2 nominations--because the Varsity BB Coach at West Point wanted Michael to come play for him. Greg is really tough on the boys. That is why they shy away from him. But, parents persist. It is for their own good. The girls really like Greg. He tells them exactly what to do--and, if they execute, they win. Greg had 12 for 12 girls get College BB Scholarships. Cant argue with that! It is ALL practice. But, practice proper technique! Coach Greg Grant is THE BEST. Tough, fair, and firm. Practice HARD, to make the game easy. Cant go wrong with Greg. Andy Stass
