Rosemary was great at describing the wines we tasted. This place has a great atmosphere and delicious wine. We will definitely be back!

Great venue for our wedding reception! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the friendly staff. The upstairs is the perfect setting for 50 or 60 people.

On a warm afternoon, and years after purchasing it, I am enjoying a chilled bottle of 2014 White Ox, their blended white. Just wonderful! Full in the mouth, just a touch of acidity, and incredibly refreshing. Time for another road trip!

After the tasting a walked out with a few of their wines. Very affordable and great tasting

The White Ox semi-sweet white was okay. I wish they had a few more sweet wines to offer (like the other local wineries), but the lady doing the tasting said this was the only slightly sweet wine they have. The actual vineyard is actually 8 miles away; I was told. Online info is a little deceiving. This location is only a tasting room. The staff was friendly though.

Small, yet warm and welcoming. My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon taking in the sights of downtown Staunton over a fantastic bottle of pinot noir.

Incredibly friendly staff, very good wine. The reds are better than the whites, but both good. If they are mulling wine, get a taste - perfection on a cold night. Only real negative is how close the tasting room is to the street. Watch your step coming down after your tasting.

Everything is in the tasters taste buds. Pretty much every month I stop in to restock with a case of their cabernet franc, our home wine. IMHO, Pinot Noir also a winner.Been refilling from OxEye since they opened. Very nice folk, and it is truly a boutique family operation by the Kier family, and very personal service. They love what they do, and you feel that.

It is always an absolute delight to stop in Ox-Eye Tasting room! Exceptional wines, excellent staff and a fantastic family owned business. One of my favorite spots in Staunton to relax and let life go by for a while.

We are from Richmond and drive to Staunton just to enjoy the wine and atmosphere. We love the sweet table on the brick patio on nice evenings but have enjoyed the upstairs lounge area with lovely artwork from locals. The owners are wonderfully hospitable.

Knowledgable owner who makes his own wine some distance away from Staunton. We sampled a few and they were all great. Decent priced wine for the quality you get.
