Bigleaf Slopes Park

Enjoyed the trail. Beautiful scenery.

Great park for a trail run hike or biking...noticeably better in the fall and spring the overrun with Poison ivy and mosquitoes in the summer. Lots of little signs telling what plants are in this type parcel of land and slightly technical trails with lots of hills

This is a great mountain bike loop. This is not a real flowy trail but it is definitely a challenge. There are some fun and fast sections but there are quite a few climbs where it will get your heart rate way up. If you want to get conditioned, then ride here frequently. Its a quiet area and the woods are really nice to ride through. I try to ride here at least once a week. The local bike shop who handles the maintenance does a great job and the trail stays in pretty good shape.

Nice park to walk or ride bikes

Easy walking trails. Well maintained. 3.1 mile loop and a 1 mile loop to make a total of 4 miles. Mountain bikes and walkers share the same trails.

Finally got to visit this new park to see the awesome work that both First Flight Bicycles and the Tarheel Trailblazers did to build a new 2.6 mile phase one MTB trail. Great job and good scenery, especially of the rare Bigleaf Magnolia Trees. There is a permanently installed bike repair station, changing room, and a porta potty on site as well. Looks like someone abandoned their pet fido dog. Sad! Otherwise, it was a good visit and Ill be back.

Loved this park! Very well taken care of and with signs talking about the trees and features. The trail weaves through beautiful woods that provide a shaded hike that was cool even on a hot summer day. Theres parts through pines, clearings and other trees, and its a little hilly too.

A diamond in the rough great place to ride!

It’s a alright place to go if you need to get a quick fix in to fill your hiking needs. The parks NEEDS to take care of all the barbwire fencing around the whole area. My dog sliced his foot wide open, bleeding everywhere.

Great place to ride, hike or run. Trails are well maintained. Lot forward to the growth of the network of trails in the coming seasons

Good place to walk around

Wonderful hiking and mountain biking trail. A favorite place to take the dogs for a good long walk.

Had a great ride on the trail! I hope to see it grow bigger! I am ready to go back and ride it again!
