Pretty nice place. First time ever being in a Michaels. Didnt have the coloring books i was searching for, but they had a lot of things that I am most definitely interested in returning and purchasing at a later date.

My wife loves this place for its crafting merchandise. When I drive her here I get two days of fly fishing on Mountain Trout Streams. Pretty good deal for me.

Went here with my wife and daughter to get supplies for craft projects. Great variety for any idea you may have. Nice store

As an artist, Michaels is a craft haven for me. I can spend hours upon hours in that store. Lol

I truly love going to Michaels. They have most things for crafting. I enjoy crocheting and so does my daughter in-law. They offer a loyalty program. The last time I was there I bought a half dozen picture frames. The store is easy to locate from the road. The employees are so nice and helpful. If you like to do crafts then you should really check out Michaels

EDITED: Changed to 3 stars from 1 star because store manager emailed and made the situation right.....VERY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I drove 1.5 hours to this store to purchase Siser Vinyl. $24 spent on a roll of glitter vinyl, that when I returned home had been sliced so a portion of this vinyl had to be separated from the roll. I called the store and was told that there was absolutely nothing that could be done except return the product. I explained that I could email a copy of my receipt and a picture of the damaged roll. As I stated, it is 1.5 hours each way - so I would not only have the time investment but also the cost of the gas would be more than the product. I wasnt even asking for a refund because part of the roll was still usable - I was told that there might be a way to get a 10% coupon mailed to me. I was perfectly fine with that... Today I received a call that they were not able to mail that coupon - so you mean to tell me that Michaels cannot afford a stamp and an envelope in order to keep a customer! I will never return to this store, if this is how they treat their customers! Word of mouth negative advertising will go a very long way!

It is a good craft store to shop at.

I ordered something online to pick-up in store. It usually takes no longer than 1 hour for your order to be ready. My order has taken more than 2 hours. They can’t find my order and I’m still waiting. This “order online and pick-up in store” should be more organized!

This is one of the smaller Michaels, which is located in Statesville. I feel like the choices arent as good of a variety as in theyre bigger stores but I suppose thats to be expected. One thing it does have in common with its bigger stores is the lack of cashiers and how long it takes to get the heck out of there!

I shop there regularly and they are always very helpful. A very nice young lady helped me locate several locations for what I was looking for today.

Had a terrible experience being followed through this store by an associate named George. After ten minutes of being followed I finally decided to ask George if he needed help finding something. Granted I have a tattoo on one arm and generally spend entirely too much time in craft stores looking at things I don’t need, I will not return or recommend anyone else shops at this location.

I really enjoy being shopping at Michaels. I really appreciate all of the good comments and attention the staff gives my dog. ;-)

I love Statesvilles Michaels!I love all the employees! George is my family’s favorite employee he’s always right there to help! I seen a bad review about him and think that person must be a guilty of trying to steal! Only a guilty person would every think a helpful associate is following them around! It’s there job to make sure everyone is helped! In a small store like Statesville it’s easy to run into the same associate multiple times! I appreciate being able to always find someone to help! I have lots of tattoos and George has even complimented them! My husband loves George so much he walks around the store calling George’s name! Thank you so much Statesville Michaels team for always being so amazing!

This place needs some work..... Some of the managers are NOT friendly. One in particular is younger, rude and could use some coatching on customer service! On the other hand there is one manager ( a blonde) who is ALWAYS very helpful and informative and is always my GO TO person if I even have to go in there. ( I honestly rather go to hobby lobby.) Also the way you have to exit the store is RIDICULOUS! You have to excuse yourself and squeeze through the people that are waiting to check out just to exit!! Yes everyone look at me, the person who didnt buy anything because you dont have what Im looking for. * Waves hand* Last thing is they know how to trick you out of your money! Look at your receipts! Says the amount you paid but then under it says return amount and its ALWAYS a few dollars cheaper, WITHOUT using coupons??? I litterly bought something went to my car to realize it was the incorrect thing, walked right back in to return it and they tried to give me less than what I JUST paid for it!?? How in the world does that work??? So I just took it and left I didnt feel like arguing.
