My son (14) and I had a blast at THROW in State College. Really kind and supportive staff, clean and welcoming space, and a super fun way to spend an hour. Who doesnt want to chuck an axe at something? Highly recommended.

A great time was had by my whole party! We were lucky to have the whole place to ourseves which allowed our throwers to have minimal downtime between turns. The staff was excellent in general knowledge and offering us pointers. BYOB was also great with a bottle shop located conveniently in the same plaza. Will definitely be going back.

In the past month I have been to an ax throwing place in Nashville Tennessee and St. Petersburg Florida and yesterday I by far had the worst experience of all. The employees were so indifferent to us even being there, non-attentive and absolutely willing to give no assistance when several in my group were struggling to throw it into the board. I cannot imagine a place like this could possibly stay in business with the attitude of the employees and the lack of customer service. There needs to be competition within close range and if they had decent customer service and slightly better facilities, which would be easy to accommodate, this place would be out of business in weeks. I would never recommend this place to anyone because of the very very poor customer service and rude attitudes of the employees. It’s actually a shame because ax throwing is a very enjoyable time in general.

Fun activity to do with your friends. The staff is helpful and friendly, they show you how to throw an ax the right way and give you pointers to improve as you go. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to throw as long as we cared to.You can bring some beers to make the throwing even more exciting!It feels a bit like going to your buddys basement and hanging out and slinging axes across the room. Give it a try!

Great time!!! Son went to THROW in Pittsburgh and said it was a fun time. Easy booking everything done online. We had a great instructor she took her time to help us learn how to throw an ax. We went for our annual Christmas Adventure fun time! This THROW does not have a restaurant or bar at it.

Took our 14 year old grandson who really enjoyed himself but so did his grandparents. Had a great time and our coach was awesome!

Great staff, awesome fun. Once you find start sticking the axe throw it is quite relaxing. Bring friends and have a good time. They also have several escape rooms as well all with different themes.

Super fun evening activity! Emma is great with giving tips on how to improve your throwing. BYOB is an extra perk too!
